Will's hair line is royal spot

I woke up this morning a little early and didn't know why until I remembered that two billion people were watching a wedding in London. I flipped on the telly, grabbed a bagel, made some tea, decided not to colonize the world and settled in to view THE KISS. I missed the actual ceremony but noticed that every news channel was live and extremely excited about the royal union between Will the Prince and Kate the commoner. Looking at the pictures I noticed quite quickly that Will got a bit shortchanged on the hair DNA. I might have thought a little spray paint would have been ok but then again that's just good ole Will. Anyone who marries a commoner probably isn't too concerned about receding hairlines and bald spots.

I think it's so cool that they are going to jet off to Florida and get a ride on the last Endeavor Space Shuttle which launches at 3:47 EST....which by the way you can watch live on NASA TV or
http://www.nasa.gov/

Two big launches on one day in April.....aren't we lucky to be alive in such a glorious time.

Have a nice weekend......and kiss your prince, princess or more importantly.....your very common frog.

TOXIC and just outright evil

Wikipedia information

TOXIC SUBSTANCE CONTROL ACT of 1976

The EPA's use of the TSCA to regulate dangerous chemicals is seen as a failure by many, including the EPA's Office of the Inspector General, who called the bill "inconsistent and presents a minimal presence." in a report dated February 17, 2010. [8] The agency also criticized the process bywhich the EPA handles new TSCA cases in the same report, claiming it is "predisposed to protect industry information rather than to provide public access to health and safety studies."[9] The report further acknowledges that trade secrets are preventing effective testing. Sometimes the EPA does not even know what chemical the TSCA application refers to, and cannot report any problems because "health and safety data are of limited value if the chemical the data pertain to is unknown."[10] Other groups concerned with the bill's lack of efficacy include the Physicians for Social Responsibility, the U.S. Public Interest Research Group, the Environmental Defense Fund, and the Lung Cancer Alliance, representing more than 11 million people nationwide. [11] These diverse groups, under the umbrella of the National Resources Defense Council plan to lobby Congress to revamp and rewrite the TSCA and allow the EPA to completely phase out and/or ban the most dangerous chemicals on the TSCA list. The group is also calling for greater oversight and reporting of health hazards of chemicals contained in everyday products. [12] Many businesses would also like to see a stronger bill to replace the TSCA, due to the more than 40 different state government regulations on toxic chemicals. In addition, businesses would like a standard that can be applied uniformly, rather than having to report many different sets of requirements to the individual states where the companies do business.

THE LATEST GROUP TO CALL BULLS..T IS ....THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS. Apparently because children are smaller they are absorbing a vast array of substances THAT ARE ONLY TESTED BY THE MANUFACTURERS.

THERE IS NO GOVERNMENT BODY IN PLACE TO TEST INDUSTRIAL CHEMICALS. Which just about applies to everything in your house that you don't eat or drink.

MANUFACTURES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO DISCLOSE THEIR INGREDIENTS and the government says confidentiality rules often times prevent them from sharing information with the general public.

That baby bottle which is made of plastic and ??????, and that carpet that is made of God only knows what could be causing serious problems for small humans.

And this is just one more example of how CORPORUPTIONS have chosen to ignore the well being of the public and focus only on the bottom line.

Maybe the Richest Man in the world and you might play on his golf course

Considering that the United States froze $65 BILLION of Mr. Kadafi's money and he's still managing to operate without a problem....I think it's safe to assume that he might be the richest man in the world. Everything you read about regarding Libya's investments throughout the world are in fact Kadafi's investments. So therefore when you find out that Libya controls 60% of Bahrain's Arab Banking Corporation you actually can understand that Kadafi has the control.

Then when you start looking around the globe you find that Libya (Kadafi) has investments in every nook and cranny. African oil companies, pipelines, telecommunication firms, hotels, refineries and real estate have all seen Libyian (Kadafi) investments over the last 6 years.

Russian, China and India abstained on the UN Security Council's sanction of Libya which means that their personal involvement both ways is quite deep.

Now considering the way multi-national corporuptions do business I would not be surprised by anything that comes to light regarding Kadafi's interest.

Imagine

Libya in the last ten years has invested (through dummy corporuptions) in Jack-in-the-Box, J.C.Penny, Pebble Beach Golf Club, Goldman Sachs, Tiffany's, General Motors, Ford, Safeway, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and on and on and on and on AND ON AND ON........and I haven't gotten to the OIL COMPANIES.

How much stock in BP do you think Kadafi owns? How about Chevron?

BECAUSE WHEN YOU BUY STOCK IN ANY COMPANY YOU ARE BUYING A PIECE OF THE COMPANY.

Stock purchases through foreign brokerage houses and banks are done every single day of the year. If Kadafi has the right people working for him then he could be invested in your house and your car and your golf course and your grocery store.

I wouldn't be shocked to find out that he owns Donald Trump's golf courses....after all Donald does like to play with other people's money.

And everybody has deep and honorable principles until the cash shows up at the door step.

Therefore I am announcing right now that if Kadafi wants to buy some of my artwork I'm saying flat out.....

NO F..KING WAY DUDE!

But then some gallery owner calls me next week and wants to buy everything and nobody knows that the gallery is one of 50 that Mo Kadafi has bought in the last 20 years.

Can you imagine the collection of artwork he must own. Many auctions are controlled by telephone bids and nobody knows who they are because the purchases are made through agents.....and when was the last time you met an agent who wouldn't sell his grandma if his client would benefit?

Crap....Kadafi probably owns The Louvre and The Grand Ole Opry.

Next thing we will learn is that we still buy oil from Libya (Kadafi) on a daily basis.

Please tell me that's not possible!

Please!

33 and still counting moments

Dear Sean

33 years ago today.........you came into our lives. So many wonderful moments and most definitely not enough time. But time plays such a silly game with the human mind. There are moments that feel like yesterday.....when you would be across the street at Douglas Park throwing the baseball up in the air and making great catches....at the age of 5.

I can think of hundreds of moments that happened years ago and yet the image is like a recent Blu-ray movie. The circuits in the brain are wired quite strongly when it comes to recalling children's growing up moments. And then when those moments are abruptly ended...those circuits grow in bandwidth by leaps and bounds. The moments that were suppose to be just happy memories turn into Michael Bay action movie moments. Those wonderful report cards turn into straight A's. Those great plays at shortstop make Cal Ripken look like a nerd. Those games you pitched in Little League rival anything Nolan Ryan ever did. Your calm attitude makes Gandhi seem nervous and your writing skills approach F. Scott Fitzgerald's talent.

In other words......your physical life was perfect within the area between my two ears. And it still seems as perfect today as it did the day you were born.....which is today.....33 years later.

I will always hold you in the highest possible regard. And that happens to be a very easy thing to do because you actually did a really great job with everything you tried.

The moments you created for me to remember are some of the best moments of my life....and those moments just keep on giving.

Happy Earth Birthday Sean.........

Love

Dad

Stone Voyager

In 1977 NASA launched two unmanned probes and named them Voyager I and Voyager 2. The lead project scientist was named ED STONE.

Voyager 1 is getting very close to leaving our solar system and entering DEEP SPACE. Ed Stone is still monitoring the information that is being sent by a 1977 computer program and eight-track tapes.

Yeah....eight-track tapes!

What really amazes me is that we haven't launched updated probes with the latest technology.

I'm surprised Google hasn't sent one just to add to their incredible Google Earth site.

Mr. Stone isn't quite sure when Voyager 1 will enter Deep Space but he thinks it can happen within the next four or five years.

The edge of our solar system is determined by the fact that our sun's cosmic wind finally stops blowing.

The interstellar wind that is blowing in Deep Space will prove to be a major breakthrough in trying to understand how the universe operates.....maybe.

Voyager 1 is currently about 11 billion miles from earth. It has a device called a cosmic-ray spectrometer that will hopefully send back information about the interstellar happenings.

And then the eight track tape era will officially.....end.

I just think it's very apropos that Stone and 8 track tapes still work in harmony to create good vibes and groovy happenings.

Peace OUT

NPR and the Attorney General's office

I was listening to NPR this morning while driving to pay my ridiculously overpriced cable bill.....and was reminded how the current administration has dropped the ball.

Eric Holder, the current Attorney General of the United States, has not even organized an INVESTIGATION into the 2008 financial meltdown, let alone file indictments.

NO INVESTIGATION by the chief law enforcer of the United States government INTO THE LARGEST MORTGAGE FRAUD EVER PERPETRATED IN THE UNITED STATES!

Nothing can be discovered without an investigation and it appears that our current administration has declared hands off on the financial giants who created the mess.

I'll repeat it again like I did a few months ago.....watch the film INSIDE JOB and then start your own investigation and simply ask why hasn't anyone from Goldman Sacks been indicted? And why hasn't an investigation been launched by the Attorney General's office.

And then I'm reminded of the recent Republican budget proposal that says ENTITLEMENTS are creating the debt in this country and cuts need to be made to the poor, Medicare, Medicaid, the elderly and all the people who need it the most. People who are disenfranchised are being blamed, by the Republican party, for all the problems that currently exist.

The cost of operating wars in foreign countries never seems to get mentioned. And then to top it off the Republicans want the tax rate for wealthy individuals and corporuptions to go from 35% to 25%.

The tax breaks in place for Corporuptions is so out of whack that companies like General Electric paid NO federal income tax in 2010......and they made $14.2 BILLION dollars in profit.

$14.2 billion IN PROFIT......NO FEDERAL INCOME TAX!

AND THE REPUBLICANS ARE STICKING TO THE TRICKLE DOWN BULLSHIT.

NO NEW JOBS ARE CREATED....JUST HIGHER PROFITS.

AND NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE CORPORUPTIONS CONTROL THE EXECUTIVE, LEGISLATIVE AND JUDICIAL BRANCHES OF OUR GOVERNMENT.

RALPH NADER MIGHT THE ONLY PUBLIC PERSONALITY THAT TELLS US WHAT IS WRONG....AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE JUST WRITE HIM OFF AS.....

CRAZY!

I'll tell you what is crazy.........

it's crazy how stupid the American public really is....and how propaganda actually works on a major level in ways that people don't even know is working.

Instead of having Ralph Nader talk to us on a weekly basis about the problems, 20 million people let Rush Limbaugh and the Rush Wannabees voice their incredible bullshit.

The two parties are bound by one principle and one principle only.

DON'T FUCK WITH CORPORATE AMERICA.

THE MANIPULATION OF GAS PRICES IN THIS COUNTRY IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF HOW NEITHER PARTY GIVES ONE THOUGHT TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW HIGH GAS WILL BE ONCE WE REALLY START CONSERVING?

Where is the voice of reason in all this madness?

BUT BETTER YET.....WHERE IS THE MASS VOICE OF COMPLAINT?

Please don't tell me it's the Tea Party!

I

might

vomit!

And now we have to get ready for a year and a half of election bullshit!

Obama was suppose to make a difference but

he seems to have been

Republicanized.

HOW ABOUT....

STOP THE WARS

TAX CORPORUPTIONS WHEN THEY OUTSOURCE SERVICE JOBS

TAX CORPORUPTIONS ON MONEY THEY MAKE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD THEY DO BUSINESS.

DON'T LET THE JUDICIAL BRANCH OF OUR GOVERNMENT PROTECT CORPORUPTIONS

MAKE THE INDIVIDUAL COUNT AGAIN IN A COUNTRY THAT WAS FOUNDED ON EACH AND EVERY PERSON HAVING THE SAME RIGHTS AS EACH AND EVERY OTHER PERSON.

Don't you just love idealistic rhetoric?

And I've said it before and I'll say it agin....when did idealism become something evil?

When did the dreams of the way things should be..........become a crock of bullshit?

I want to remind everybody......that if you ignore the disenfranchised and choose to stop helping the people who really need the help then you become

cold

and

damp

and

then

frozen.

America is about something much larger than corporate success.

America

is

about

LOVE.

DEAL WITH IT!

Poker withdrawal and worst

A few years ago I spent a week or so playing online Poker. After losing a few hands with really good cards I stopped playing and deleted the software. I'm not very smart but I realize that computers can be "controlled" by someone who understands algorithms and knows how to write code. If there is more than one player that knows one of those "someones" then anything is possible when it comes to controlling an online poker game. I know people that don't believe it can be fixed, and they spend quite a bit of time on the various sites. Those people and about 10 million other people are having major withdrawals today. The FBI seized two major sites....Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars...and are close to shutting down a third one, Absolute Poker. A federal grand jury charged eleven people with bank fraud, money laundering and violation of gambling laws. The government is seeking to recover $3 billion from the online sites.

I just want you to pause for a second and listen to the story of Unlucky Uncle Jimbo.

Uncle Jimbo has been playing high stakes online poker for three years. He had a nice personal nest egg but he wasn't filthy rich....a six figure savings account. Uncle Jimbo also plays the races and over the last few years has lost a big share of his nest egg. Uncle Jimbo had lost $45,000 over a three year period playing online poker. He is a decent player and sometimes enters casino tournaments but has never finished higher than 20th. Three weeks ago he entered an online tournament with the grand prize being a seat at the 2011 World Poker Championships. The tournament was scheduled to end today and Unlucky Uncle Jimbo was one of two people left in the mix. So far he had accumulated $85,000 and if he won the last game then he would win $125,000 and a seat in the WPC. Uncle Jimbo woke up this morning, took a shower, had his coffee and wheat toast with a poached egg and then went into his den and fired up his nice new computer with his beautiful large screen monitor and got set to finish the tournament.......... and the website read 'THIS DOMAIN NAME HAS BEEN SEIZED BY THE F.B.I. PURSUANT TO AN ARREST WARRANT." Have a nice day! Needless to say at this point in time, Uncle Jimbo has no idea about the seat in the WPC and his money, along with everybody else's, is frozen like a dead Antarctica seal carcass.

The United States government has probably created the largest single group jones in the history of our country. It is estimated that 8 to 10 million people play online poker. This is obviously a TAX attack. The government ain't getting their share therefore they are taking their ball home.

Uncle Jimbo was last seen driving the wrong way on the freeway.

I'm about to step in it.......

Kobe gets fined $100,000 for using the word "faggot" while jabbering at a referee and nobody ever gets fined for using the terms "motherfucker" or "Son of a Bitch." I would think every mom in America would have voiced their displeasure with those two terms, both of which truly should offend them. I would think every son of every mom would stand up and say those terms are offensive to the mothers of America. I would think the NBA and NFL and MLB would have issued fines totaling in the millions for using those derogatory phrases because there would be no players without moms. But instead a word that heterosexuals mostly use when talking to other heterosexuals is worth a $100,000 fine in the NBA? Those instances of making a off-handed remark to a non-gay person with the word "fag" in the remark total in the hundred's of thousands on a yearly basis. And before 1980 they totaled in the millions on a yearly basis. The word GAY was not used on a regular basis when referring to non-straight people until well into the 2oth century. It happened sometime around the period where gays suddenly claimed they owned the Rainbow. Seriously...I can't have a rainbow flag on my boat or my house or my car or my shirt or my pants or anywhere without it being an announcement that I am gay. And it doesn't matter one bit that I don't have a boat, a house or a car. Possession of objects is not the point of this point. I'm not gay but I want the Rainbow put back into society on a regular basis! Maybe that's why Kobi's pissed. Maybe he also thinks the rainbow should be for everyone. And how does the word "faggot" equate with the word "nigger?" Were gays being hung after being enslaved for 400 years? Were the gay cotton pickers teenage daughters being raped by plantation owners? And by the way....we all know that blacks in certain segments of our pollution call each other niggers on a regular basis. Do gays call themselves "faggots?" What if Kobi was gay? Would it then be ok? What if the referee was also gay? Then it would just be a street cred homi. I realize that the word is associated with homophobic behavior but I'm not sure how that got started and what happens in non-USA cultures where the word means other things like a bundle of sticks, a herb or a seasoning or an embroidery style on clothing...... and of course a fag in England is still a cigarette. Kobi has done more to bring GAY AWARENESS to the average sports fan in America than any other single incident. People are discussing something that they don't want to discuss and generally don't even want to hear about. Gays are excited because.....because.......because........they are gay! I'd like to hear Elton John's take on the whole thing. Maybe he could do another Saturday Night Live show and spend a bit more time being really really gay. Loren Michaels needs to have Kobi and Elton do the first show of the fall season as co-hosts.

I'm really glad I was able to solve that problem.

When I read that 1 out of every 110 children born have Autism I really don't get the entire Kobi incident. We really have other things to worry about besides silly name calling incidents by overpaid professional athletes. Do you think for one second that a gay person dying of aids gives one thought to anything Kobi Bryant says? So silly! I hope the $100,000 goes to AIDS research. And then I hope every single NBA player uses the term "faggot" in the next two weeks and each one gets fined $100,000 and it all goes to research on how to REVERSE AIDS and STOP AUTISM............COMPLETELY.

Just as good as it looks

Golf events don't get any better than this......unless of course you eliminate the crowds. The perfect ending would be Freddie Couples walking down 18 with a two stroke lead but reality looks like a 21 year old wizard from across the pond.

Words I only see in print

I read them in print but I don't hear them very often in person. These words are all capable of appearing in our daily speech but for some reason....they don't. Now it could be that you hear them all the time which probably means I need to start hanging around your crowd.

I'll be here waiting for the invitation.

In the meantime.....digest on these letters askance....copious....aplomb.....quondam.....miscreant......furtive.......moonily......vicissitudes.....

recalcitant...ameliorate.....munificence......louche.....gamahuchic.....

versifier......flecklessness.....

doggerel....nevus egregious.....cajoling......vociferously.......correctude......

That's enough for one day....don't you think? I hope this doesn't make you discombubulated within your current snytax of awareness.

A Face and a Race

This is Paul Ryan, Congressman from Wisconsin. He appears to be the new face of the GOP.

Today is the beginning of the 2012 Presidential election. The GOP used the Sunday morning news shows to outline their $4 trillion dollar deficit reduction plan....and then this morning President Obama officially announced his re-election campaign.

Let the BULLS..T BEGIN!

The nation doesn't need what we are about to see.

What we probably won't see is a lot of common sense.

The division between the have and the havenots will be emphasized in a major way due to the fact that the numbers are comparable to just before the Great Depression.

I just hope that environmental issues become paramount during the campaign. It would be nice to hear a few Republicans actually back down from the platform position that Global Warming is an Al Gore invention.

CLIMATE CHANGE IS A FACT and the reasons are numerous. Somethings can be done and somethings can't be done but nothing will get done if people deny the existence of the problem.

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY DENIES THE EXISTENCE OF GLOBAL WARMING! And they deny the existence of de-forestation....just like they deny that there is a problem with Nuclear Energy.

The democrats need to stress that denial factor and they need to stress it LOUDLY.

IT CAN BE A DIFFERENCE MAKER.

AND ALSO...... THE TRUTH ABOUT TRICKLE DOWN ECONOMICS AND HOW IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING FOR 95% OF THE AMERICAN PUBLIC.

Let the bull.... oh I mean..... the party....... .....begin!

Keep the holiday rolling

April Fool's Day has always been my favorte holiday. I realize that it's not a national declared holiday but when I become President I will make it happen. Oh yeah....that's not going to happen in this lifetime.....but that's what April 1st is all about.

Dreams and wishes and jokes and more dreams and more wishes and more jokes.

In fact, go back and read April 1, 2011.......one more time. Why can't some of those things actually happen?

Some times I feel like I might have come here from the peaceful future.

Grand ideas should not be limited to April Fool's jokes.

One time every year

I woke up this morning and heard the news that everything was under control with the nuclear power plant in Japan. The news also stated that Japan was going to shut down all 55 reactors and devote their full technological resources to building Wind, Solar, Geo-thermal and ocean current renewable energy plants.

I opened the paper and read where Kadafi has not only apologized for being a wacko but that every citizen in Libya was going to receive 250,000 U.S. dollars. The article stated that he would still have 1 billion dollars for himself and that he was planning on building an estate on the island of Cuba and would be moving there immediately. Apparently he and Castro are golfing buddies.

Then I turned to page two and read an article about how Hamas has decided to start practicing Transcendental Meditation and would no longer be in need of their rockets and hand held grenade launchers. They said they would be turning everything over to Israel within the next ten days. Israel then announced that Palestine would now be recognized as a nation and all walls will be removed. Those same walls will be shipped to Japan to be installed along the coast to help repel any future tsunamis.

I then flipped on the radio and heard a story that Iran had fired Ahmadinejad and replaced him with a Iranian Roman Catholic Cardinal who had been working directly under the Pope.

In the Sports section of the LA Times I saw that the Dodgers had won their first game of the season and the Lakers had beat Dallas by 28 points.............Seriously!

The Dodgers announced that Clayton Kershaw would pitch every game of the season. The Lakers announced that they would try to have more players ejected in the next game. Maybe then they will have to let Luke Walton play more than two minutes.

In the business section there was a small story regarding Google giving everyone who ever used Google....$1000.00. A special one time thank you gesture. Then the phone rang and a gallery at Bergamot Station decided that they wanted to handle my work and would October be a good time for my show? I said I'd have to think about it.

I went out to get my mail and found a letter from Lion's Gate. They somehow had read my Leajewel and The Cat's Wind scripts and were interested in making the films. In the letter they asked me if I had any more projects and could I please bring them to our meeting.

I can't believe what a great day this is.......

and neither should you.
