Anyone 60 or older knows what today is

Tragic national events are rare.

48 years ago today baby boomers suffered their first group disaster.

It was the first of three political assassinations that would dominate the 60's.

It set the tone for what would take place in the late 60's and early 70's with the youth of America deciding that their voice counted in regards to a very unpopular war and a Dickhead President.

It was the single event that buried an idyllic America that had existed from 1946 to 1963.

Whatever political point of view one may have......does not remove the stain of having lost the youngest President in the history of America.

I was 17 years old and studying for a math test in my freshman year of college when John Fitzgerald Kennedy's head was blown apart in Dallas, Texas.

48 years later we still don't know for sure if Castro, The Mafia, Nixon, The CIA, The disgruntled Cuban nationals that felt betrayed during the Bay of Pigs or just one single asshole with a rifle...was responsible.

History has shown that JFK and his brother Bobby had some powerful enemies.......and their power is so strong that no one can actually prove anything.

I predict the exact answers will be revealed in about 50 years....which would put me at 115.

Most likely I'm not going to hear the truth.....but I sure hope with all my heart that the Muppets didn't have anything to do with it.

Imagine how scared that would make my grand children's children.

Now that I've officially gone MIND JAZZ loony I think I'll just sign off and wish you a
Happy
Thanksgiving.

Can I have your old one?

That big flat screen you bought last year will be obsolete next year IF you like your color to be more realistic.

The dealio is....I'm still in the Sony FAT BODY world of TV's so when you decide to upgrade to the newest technology....please give me a call.

You can thank nanotechnology for the visual enhancement that will be on the market by the end of 2012.

Right now your TV can reproduce about 30% of what the eye can perceive in the real world. The new nanotechnology will double that percentage. What they do to fool you is increase the brightness with LEDs but that doesn't really mean too much when it comes to color.

Of course the brains behind this new technology might be forgetting that for 40 years the American people watched TV with no technical enhancements....and were very happy campers.

I wonder how many people still have regular TV's simply because the old ones weigh more than a car and nobody wants to help move it.

I'm waiting for the flat screens to hit Goodwill and The Salvation Army before I make my move. But if you need to dump your 47 inch flat screen, next Christmas, with the old color flaws, to make way for the more realistic color version....just give me a call. I'll be glad to take it off your hands.

Of course you'll probably just want to put it in another room so that you can be one of those TV in every room families.

Is America the most wonderful place on earth.....or what?

HAVE YOU WRITTEN YOUR CONGRESSPERSON YET ABOUT INDSIDER TRADING LAWS THAT DON'T APPLY TO THEM?

"charge-parity violation." and political insider trades

60 Minutes ran a story last Sunday about elected officials being exempt from any laws or rules preventing them from conducting insider trading of stocks.

Yesterday CERN announced that matter and anti-matter aren't behaving in the way that the law of physics says they should.

Which one of these stories should be examined and investigated with the utmost security and diligence?

Which one of these stories will you never see again?

I'm going to write e-mails to my congressman, state senator and President demanding that laws be immediately passed preventing elected officials from using insider information to pad their personal bank accounts.

I'm also going to ask for a full investigation into all personal transactions done by elected officials regarding the stock market since 1946. (all behavior before my birthday is exempt)

I'm probably going to be erased within the next 5 days and 60 Minutes will be canceled after 43 years.

I highly recommend that you go on line and watch the 60 Minute segment (11/13/11) before they completely pull it off of the CBS archives.

The CERN item can be read about at
http://news.yahoo.com/physics-atom-smashers-antimatter-surprise-232412931.html

It's a much larger story but certainly not more important than the integrity questions that will be raised regarding the House and Senate.

The anti-matter/matter story amazes me......the 60 Minuted story just pisses me off....as it should you.

DON'T LET THIS FORM OF CORRUPTION SIMPLY EVAPORATE INTO MEDIA THIN AIR.....DEMAND THAT YOUR SOURCES OF INFORMATION (TV, newspapers, on-line) INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER TO THE MAX!

THE AMERICA PEOPLE NEED TO MAKE THEIR ELECTED OFFICIALS ACCOUNTABLE AND THE SIMPLE FACT THAT ANYONE WHO PERSONALLY FINANCIALLY BENEFITS FROM BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS, WHILE IN THEIR ELECTED OFFICE, SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE MAT....AND COUNTED OUT. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9....YOU ARE OUT!

HIT THE ROAD

This is the type of behavior that makes people take to the streets and
OCCUPY ANYWHERE USA
.....and the interesting thing to note is that until the 60 Minute story I'm fairly certain that 99.9% of the voting public had no idea that members of The House and The Senate were exempt from any laws pertaining to insider trading.

I'M STUNNED!

HOW ABOUT YOU?

MAKE SOME NOISE!

How did this happen?

In 1971 I was convinced that within 50 years all war would become obsolete. I based that reasoning on several things that were happening at the time......the main thing being the amount of young people taking the anti-war issue to the streets of America and other industrialized countries. It just made sense that as those young people grew into responsible adults that they in turn would make sure the earth had less weapons and more love.

It's 40 years later and OMG it turns out that I couldn't have experienced any larger hallucination.

How did this happen?

Did the young conscientious people of the planet all fold their tents or did certain events take place that made people extremely paranoid?

Paranoia leads to many different aggressive roads....one being the accumulation of weapons.

THE ACCUMULATION OF WEAPONS IS THE SINGLE MOST INSANE THING THAT THE PLANET HAS EXPERIENCED SINCE WW l l.

I've pointed this out before but once again it seems vastly important. In 1946 a few countries and a few citizens possessed weapons. Since 1946 not only has the munitions quantity increased a billion fold but the quality has gone completely ape shit.

Individuals can purchase hand held rocket launchers. Countries purchase them by the container load. Drug Cartels can go to industrial trade shows and buy whatever happens to be selling.

A MUNITIONS TRADE SHOW HAS TO BE ONE OF THE SICKEST CONCEPTS EVER DEVISED BY THE HUMAN SPECIES.

Take a short break and watch my YouTube video

http://www.youtube.com/user/mindjazz1#p/u/3/eMqQqSr38Yw

I'm fairly certain that small terrorists organizations have led to the paranoia that seems to rest in most of the living rooms of America. We don't get as concerned with other countries who have trained military personal because if push comes to shove we are the main shovees.

It's those assholes, without uniforms, who hide in the storm drains and then surface every so often to cause horror and havoc.

Those guys have made America accept any and all gestures that point toward a NATIONAL WARTIME MENTALITY.

40 YEARS SINCE 1971 AND WE ARE SO HEADED IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.

And sadly........I'm not really sure what can be done to change that direction.

One of the first things that could happen would be to end any MUNITIONS TRADE SHOW planned for the next ten years. At least make it hard to obtain the items that cause pain and destruction.

Then The United Nations should confront the countries that are manufacturing those items and put everything on hold until the dust settles.....like in 2030.

Then a weapons collection program should be put into place.

We'll need volunteers to go into South America, Africa and Southeast Asia and ask those people to turn in their AK 47's and Hand Held Rocket Launchers.

That might be the funniest thing I've ever written.

The accumulation of weapons on a mass scale is completely out of control and the world has never been more armed than it is today.

How did this happen? Somebody wasn't paying attention and that somebody was
you
and
me.

We voted people into office ( both parties) that are on the payroll of munition lobbyists....and we did so because we wanted protection from Russia in the 50's, China in the 60's and 70's and then dickhead terrorists since 1980.

Do you feel safe and protected?

Flying close by

Today at 6:28 EST an asteroid will pass between the moon and the earth. The distance from earth will be about 203,00 miles but if you look very closely you will see that it resembles a rhinoceros.

The asteroid's name is......2005YU55.

Robert McMillian discovered the approaching rock on December 28 2005 at Steward Observatory which is located at Kitt Peak in Arizona and operated by the University of Arizona.

It simply amazes me that that with all the observatories operating around the world that something the size of an aircraft carrier, approaching the earth, wasn't discovered until 2005.

The next time a known asteroid this large will come this close to Earth will be in 2028[5] when (153814) 2001 WN5 passes 0.00166 AU (248,000 km; 154,000 mi) from the Earth.[9]

Since the Mayans situation, which puts the end of the world in Dec of 2012, it appears that 2001 WN5 will simply be passing by a giant void.

Of course there's a strong possibly that the Mayans were simply eliminated by the Spaniards before they could continue working on their calender.

It seems that logical explanations don't always fit when it comes to doomsday predictions.

I'm going to walk outside at 3:28 PST and look for the rhino.

Maybe my perseverates are becoming slightly jumbled.

Oh well............... I'll just listen for the sound of YU55 passing by. I couldn't find anything about the speed it would be traveling but I'm sure it's moving pretty quick. Is there a sound outside of our atmosphere?

New friend

Yesterday I spent a good portion of the day at The Jules Stein wing of the UCLA hospital complex....which is adjacent to the Doris Stein wing which I will be visiting this morning.

Eyes are so complex that both Jules and Doris needed their own buildings.

Jules was the founder of MCA and his institute operates as the ophthalmology department of the David Geffen School of Medicine....who started Asylum Records and is one of the founders of Dreamworks along with Steven Spielberg and Jeff Katzenberg.

So far all this story indicates is that one should definitely pursue SHOW BUSINESS if they want to have medical buildings carry their names. It also apparently helps if you belong to a certain tribe.

That last comment is a humor tag so just relax Elvis....don't get your trousers in a bunch...................which by the way.....I have no idea if get your trousers in a bunch is actually an expression.

Yesterday was Grace Fairly's Birthday and I forgot completely because of being at the eye institute which brings me back to why I was there and who I met.

My friend Tom Sullivan. who happens to be an extremely private person and probably doesn't appreciate me writing about his situation, had to have major eye surgery. In my humble opinion any surgery to the eye is major. Cataract surgery is major major and that's what was taking place. My job was to drive him there....wait.....and then drive him home. While in the waiting mode of the experience I was sitting in the Family and Guest Holding Room.....which of course was called something else but that's how I remember the title. It might have been the little GeffenStein waiting room but probably not. Anyway while I was sitting there reading the Breeder Cub racing form I was casually listening to two adult women who were also in the waiting room. They were kinda whispering but it was a small room so I wasn't able to completely shut down my ear canals. It became obvious that they were mother and daughter and I assumed, for whatever reason, that they were waiting for the husband of the more mature woman and the father of the daughter....who was also mature.....just younger.

It's just the natural order of things isn't it?

But as you well know the natural order of things sometimes doesn't play by the rules.

What isn't natural is to discover that they were waiting for a seven year old son and grandson named Emmit. I'm pretty sure that's how you spell Emmit but it might be Emmet and it might be Emmett.....anyway, since he's the new friend I met I'll figure out his spelling later.

He and I only spoke for about 45 seconds and in that 45 seconds I learned a few important things. Maybe not so much about him but a whole lot about me. I'll learn about Emmit once he's in a more communicative state of mind. Had I been in Emmett's position at that moment I would have told the old fart talking to me to hit the f..king highway. History proves that I'm not the greatest patient and it was apparent that Emmit had much more composure than I.....and most likely is a lot smarter than me.

A small flash of the eyes of a young man going through what he's gone through is all it takes to register soul size and heart.

BOTH WERE HUGE.

I'm not going to detail everything right now because to be honest I don't know him well enough to share anything. He might not want me babbling on about his battles....but I think he would prefer to be quoted correctly instead of having me assume what he thinks and feels. Suffice to say the last few years have been a huge battle in the life of a young man...and the battle has been shared by a large extended family that also appears to have huge portions of grace and love filling their daily lives. I have no idea what their last name is but I can tell you that Mary Margaret is the Grandmother, Katie is the mother, Patrick is the father and Emmett has two younger brothers named Jack and Sean.

What this family has gone through in the last two years is beyond my comprehension.

And after saying that.... I'd also like to state that I wish it was happening with me and my son....and I'm extremely happy that it's not happening with me and my daughter.

I will find out today when I go back to Steinville (Tom has to have bandages removed to see if the surgery was successful) what the family name is, and then I will write a letter to Emmett and then I will be able to give you real quotes from the mouth of a young warrior.

Until then....no matter what you might be going through.....good or bad....it's important to share light with those who have to battle darkness. Battling illness is one of the darkest things we face and when that battle is being conducted by a seven year old boy......it simply causes pain in both the heart and the soul.

We can make it better........and the we refers to anyone who is healthy....which in my case isn't exactly correct....but compared to Emmett ( in his current state) I'm an Olympian getting ready for 2012 in London.

The concept of visiting sick children in hospitals isn't a new idea....but when was the last time you did it?

I'm going to start by communicating with my new friend and I'll let you know how that goes after I get further into the story.

I'm pretty certain that this story will have all the elements needed to simply break your heart and then lift your spirits.

You can start lifting your spirits right now by doing something for someone else who can't do it for themselves....and if it happens to be a young person that you don't even know....I think that all the inhabitants of planet Earth.......benefit.

It's a nice sound that is generated from displaying Grace and Love.

Like a soft hummmmmmmmmmmmm......

Happy Halloween and SEVEN BILLION

The United Nations announced that today the population of the planet Earth reached 7 BILLION......which is kinda spooky until you look at other numbers.

Considering that there are 100 thousand million stars in our Milky Way galaxy....7 billion doesn't seem like much. Then you consider that there are hundreds of billions of other galaxies and the numbers become HUGE.

Trillions of stars in the Universe and only one United Nations. I wonder if they have an opinion on Universe population. Maybe they should start considering the bigger picture and it might make it easier to make sure that all 7 billion have a daily share of food and water.

We can handle that responsibility....don't you think?

Imagine the amount of candy that will be distributed tonight in America....and then imagine how much will be thrown away over the next ten days.

Imagine one hundredth of that amount being sent to African children living in refuge camp cities.

Hershey's should do a fly over and drop millions of little Kisses......the survivors would be addicted for life.

The fact that there probably wouldn't be a lot of survivors is the real spooky thought....but then again it's Halloween and I hear the door bell ringing.

Time to make America a little bit fatter.

Of course I always buy candy that I like to eat, so if the attendance is down I have sweets for the next two weeks. It might be the only candy I buy in bulk all year. Maybe I should take a few pieces and UPS them to Africa. Probably going to have a melting issue unless I use the cold ice packs like See's does.

Halloween is a strange event......it can't be called a Holiday because nothing is closed.

I do enjoy asking little kids on the street if I can have a piece of candy. Generally they always reach in their bag and hand it over. Sometimes they look at me like I've lost my mind.....but then I say trick or treat and they share.

Odd night to be out in the streets harassing little kids don't you think? But it's actually the only night of the year where rules get tossed and kids and adults mingle out in the neighborhoods.

BOO!

I guess it's time to chime in with the Mind Jazz opinion on OCCUPY WALL STREET.

The conservative side ( fairly lopsided in that direction) of my Tuesday golf ensemble uttered the word "Socialism" when referring to the OWS movement.

Every time the concept of controlling corporate greed comes up, The Right simply scream "socialists".........

And the same name calling applies when talking about raising the taxes on the wealthiest people in the country....along with that silly claim that lower taxes for the rich is a method of job creation.

WITH CORPORUPTIONS SENDING THEIR MANUFACTURING OVERSEAS....ALL THAT IS CREATED IS SIMPLY MORE................

PROFIT.

SO MANY TIMES THOSE CORPORUPTIONS DON'T EVEN PASS THE SAVINGS ON TO THE CONSUMERS....THEY SIMPLY SHOW BETTER PERFORMANCE NUMBERS FOR THEIR SHARE HOLDERS.

AND HOW CAN SOMEONE , IN CHARGE (CEO ETC.), WHO HAS SEEN MARKET CAPITALIZATION DIMINISH....GET REWARDED WHEN REPLACED?

AND THE REWARDS ARE SIMPLY STAGGERING.

ARE THERE NOT PERFORMANCE CLAUSES IN THOSE CONTRACTS?

I am a believer in the free market system but I've always felt that excessive greed could totally undermine the concept. If an individual doesn't regulate his or her personal level of greed then many others will suffer. Those who are in a position to affect the economics of a large portion of the population must be the ones who say...."easy does it, let's spread this around a bit." Warren Buffet and Bill Gates seem to be addressing that situation by their projects of giving back. Of course The Foundations they seem to be giving back to have their own names attached, so I'm not really sure about their greed levels.

The problem is those of us who aren't in the 1% have become extremely paranoid.

The DISPARITY IN INCOME DISTRIBUTION is a numbers game and that game is currently operating at the same level that was operating in 1928......

(NOTE THE ABOVE CHART)

The middle class of America was basically constructed after 1935. Corporate America was basically constructed after 1970. Since 1970 everything has changed.

Job creation, or lack of it to be more precise, is why those people are sleeping on Wall Streets steps.

Economic inequality is created by lack of jobs and when manufacturing and service sector jobs are being transferred (at record numbers) to other continents then sh..t will hit the fan.

HOW CAN THESE JOBS BE REPLACED?

NEW INDUSTRIES?

NEW SALARY PARADIGMS?

REDUCED PENSION ANOMALIES?

REDUCTION IN PRICE OF GOODS SO THAT SALARIES CAN BE REDUCED?

Can a Baseball team cut their ticket prices in half if the players don't cut their salaries in half?

IS THAT SOCIALISM or simply responsible behavior so that more people can participate in the process?

Would Gillette reduce the price of their razor blades if CBS reduced their advertising rates...or would they just show a higher profit margin.

I'm thinking that something radical needs to be done other than a total collapse of the system similar to what occurred in 1929.

THE NUMBERS ARE CAUSING A PANIC IN THE 99%....AND THE 1% DON'T SEEM TO CARE AND ARE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET EVEN MORE.

REDUCING PRICES AND SALARIES AND BONUSES IS NOT A SOCIALISTIC IDEA....IT'S SIMPLY A NEW CONCEPT TO SOMEHOW SLAP FREE ENTERPRISE IN THE MOUTH AND SAY.....WHOA NELLIE......EASY DOES IT.......RELAX.

Everything cost way too much and nobody seems to know how to control anything.

WE ARE THE FURTHEST ALONG REGARDING ANYTHING.....

THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF BEING ALIVE AT THIS TIME.

WE ARE THE NOW

WE CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO CORRECT THINGS BEFORE THEY

EXPLODE AND COLLAPSE

Free Enterprise, Capitalism or Economic Liberalism is relativity young and can be fundamentally traced back to Adam Smith in the 18Th Century.

WE AREN'T COMPLETELY ASSURED THAT IT'S GOING TO WORK FOR THE NEXT 1000 YEARS.....or even 100 years. We simply don't know because we've never been here before.

We do know that PRIVATE OWNERSHIP is the backbone of the structure and most likely any future successful capitalistic system will be operated with that principle leading the parade.

But when I'm told that I'm part owner of Microsoft with my 25 shares when there are 2 trillion shares outstanding....who is diluting who and who's the sap?

Corporuptions have convinced us that we can share in the ownership....but we've got to put up with their employee reduction program and their moving cost overseas program or the stock will tank.

WE PLAY THE GAME AND THEN WE GET PISSED WHEN IT DOESN'T WORK OUT IN OUR FAVOR.

THAT'S THE FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM.

IT'S THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN......AND THE ONLY REAL PROBLEM IS THE GREED BEING DISPLAYED BY THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE POWER. THE SAME GREED WHICH CAUSED REVERSE MORTGAGE DERIVATIVES TO BLOSSOM AND A COLLAPSE TO FOLLOW.

IF YOU HAD THE POWER WOULD YOU BE ANY DIFFERENT?

It seems the people barking the loudest are college grads who seemingly are being left out of the game.....and that game is the game that possibly leads to them entering the elite one percent.

EVERYONE WANTS TO BE IN THE ONE PERCENT and everybody who isn't in the one percent swears they wouldn't be excessively greedy.

POWER has a unique way of redefining one's personal moral fiber.....just like poverty has a way of making anger a defining character of one's personality.

CJC.......CREATIVE JOB CREATION IS THE ONLY SOLUTION....AND WHEN POLITICIANS CLAIM THEY CAN CREATE JOBS....WITHOUT OFFERING VIABLE SOLUTIONS....THEN THE SMOKE IS SIMPLY BEING BLOWN UP OUR ASSES.

AS AN EXAMPLE OF CJC.....SERVICE SECTOR JOBS COULD BE BROUGHT BACK TO AMERICA IF CORPORUPTIONS SIMPLY SET UP INDIVIDUAL CALL CENTERS IN PEOPLE'S HOMES. THOSE SAME PEOPLE WHO USED TO MAKE $25 AN HOUR WOULD NOW WORK FOR $12.50 AND NEVER LEAVE THEIR HOMES. YOUR PHONE CALL WOULD BE ANSWERED BY SOMEONE IN AMERICA AND IT'S A WIN WIN SITUATION.

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF JOBS COULD BE CREATED BY AN ORACLE BUSINESS TO BUSINESS SEVER PROGRAM UTILIZED BY SINGLE FAMILY UNITS.

The OCCUPY WALL STREET movement is entirely different than the Tea Party movement. The Tea Party has numerous leaders while the OWS is just a bunch of pissed off people trying to slow down the greed train that travels right along side the free enterprise system.

THE ONLY SOLUTION TO EXCESSIVE GREED IS INDIVIDUAL ENLIGHTENMENT.....AND THAT'S PART OF THE NEXT STAGE OF HUMAN EVOLUTION.............. WHICH IS STILL A WAYS OFF FOR MOST HUMAN BEINGS.

Anger and rhetoric solve nothing.

In the meantime.....everybody has got to relax and start using creativity as a tool to solve problems.

And I truly understand that THAT is easier said than done.

DONE!

WTF?

On Tuesday and Wednesday, outside of Columbus Ohio, a whole lot of people completely lost their minds.

Every organization in the world that has interest in the welfare of animals should stand up and let those people, who completely lost their minds, know that lawsuits will be filed and there will be penalties to pay.

I'm not even an animal person....and I'm totally disgusted.

A short summary of the incident.

A man named Terry Thompson owned a wild animal farm, ranch or preserve, depending on who you ask, for reasons yet unclear, apparently opened the pens, gates and cages and let his exotic collection escape.

The community where he lived is called Zaneyville......or Zanesville if you need exact facts.

After letting his animals loose....he allegedly committed suicide. At 5:30 on Tuesday evening the first 911 call came into dispatch and 24 hours later the following animals were dead from gunshot wounds courtesy of the Muskingum County Sheriff's department.

18 rare Bengal Tigers
6 Black Bears
8 Lionesses
3 Mountain Lions
1 Baboon (who some claim might have been the ringleader)
and a few others yet to be named.

The sheriff's department says all the animals killed were immediately buried on the property.

Zanesville is 55 miles from one of the greatest Zoo's in the world....The Columbus Zoo. (Jack Hanna, famous for Late Night TV guest spots, was formerly the director)

A zoo 55 miles away could have been on the scene in two hours fully loaded with enough tranquilizer guns to stop al-qeada and yet at the end of the day 49 animals were dead and buried.

18 BENGAL TIGERS. The last time I heard there weren't even 18 Bengal Tigers left in India.

How much is a full grown Bengal Tiger worth?

My guess would be $50,000. How much is a Bengal Tiger rug worth? My guess would be......$100,000

WASN'T THERE ONE PERSON ON THAT SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT TEAM THAT BROUGHT UP QUESTIONS THAT MIGHT HAVE SAVED MOST OF THE ANIMALS?

Like for example...."Hey Captain Duck....do you think we could trank these things and then sell them to other Zoo's?"

I realize that when the sheriff's rode into the Thompson compound that a few causalities were going to take place.....but the second phone made after the initial 911 all should have been to the Columbus Zoo....and the Zoo people should have arrived with the Sheriff's Department so that people who knew about wild animals would be present. 49 causalities seems high to me....but then again 2500 wings beats per second by a hummingbird also causes me problems.

Getting back to the moment sheriff's arrived at the compound. I visualize a bunch of hunters...... and it's just a wild guess that most of the sheriff's department are probably duck, geese, deer, quail and rabbit hunters....... suddenly having an out of body experience.

IT HAD TO BE THE GREATEST MOMENT OF THEIR LIVES WHEN CAPTAIN DUCK SAID...."GO GET EM BOYS....AND DON'T BRING BACK ANY PRISONERS."

18 BENGAL TIGERS??????????????????????

I realize there is a sidebar story here regarding Mr. Thompson who had recently served a year in the federal penitentiary for gun possession....but I'm finding a few things hard to believe.

Why the Zoo wasn't involved from the first moment?

And are we really suppose to believe that 18 Bengal Tigers are buried on that compound without being skinned? If that's true, then I think we are going to heard some further news on this incident. Like Butch and Ernie and their cousin Jethro from Boogville Arkansas that have just decided to take a little drive up to Zanesville and snatch them some Tiger pelts.

ALONG WITH 10,00 OTHER HUNTERS AROUND THE COUNTRY.....WHO WOULD KILL TO OWN A BENGAL TIGER RUG!

I see an HBO movie with all of them meeting in Zanesville at the same time and watching the fireworks unfold.

There's so much wrong with this story...including the local animal shelter who's spokesperson is named....Terri Wolfe.

49 of the 56 animals were killed. The other seven are being held for questioning but so far they all seem to be blaming the baboon.

Terry Thompson's wife, whose name is Ele' phant claimed that they didn't even have a baboon so authorities think he might have been an outside agitator recently shunned by the Ohio Tea Party.

Of course silly, I made that last thing up.........but this story could get a lot weirder.

18 Bengal Tigers?

Seriously!

More of the big picture......

It's odd when you think about much fuss and hoopla there will be over the next 12 months leading up to the 2012 election.........and how little considration will be given to REALITY.

Clowns in both parties are playing us like the fools we are.

We deserve it.

But I can honestly say that I'm also focused on the big picture......

Moving me.....

I have a reputation regarding movies. Some people claim I like every movie. That's not a true statement. THE TRUTH IS......I CAN FIND SOMETHING WORTHWHILE IN EVERY FILM.......Sometimes the music playing over the credits is better than the film but it's something positive and whatever I can get for my buck is simply better than nothing.

The only film I've seen this year with no redeeming qualities was The Green Hornet.....not to be mistaken for The Green Lantern, which was visually entertaining.....but The Green Hornet proved once again that anyone can get a movie made if they try hard enough. Seth Rogan might be the silliest casting decision I've ever seen. I suspect we'll see no more Seth Rogan super hero adventures.

So far my favorite movie of the year is Midnight in Paris. It turns out to be Woody Allen's biggest box office success and I won't be surprised if it wins multiple awards.

The most uplifting film I've seen is The Dolphin Tale. I challenge anyone to go see that movie and not feel good about human ingenuity and resourcefulness. That story was not about a Dolphin.....it was about the human brain and how great things can be achieved. All feel good movies get a bit sappy but that's part of the ride. People who criticise extensive sappiness usually have some personal issues of their own.

Moneyball is quite entertaining but don't look for Oscar nods.

The fall season is upon us and the studios are getting ready to release their potential award winning films......I HOPE!

I'm going to go see The Way because I have a feeling.....I'll let you know if I let you know.

THREE HOUR PAUSE

Didyoumissme?

The Way is a Emilio Estevez film with his Dad, Martin Sheen, playing a father who lost his son and decides to spread his ashes across St. James Way...and complete the walk that his son didn't.
If you don't know about the pilgrimage in the northern part of Spain....then I suggest you read about it. The film is well done and the scenery is wonderful.

The idea of spreading ashes of a son is nothing new.....Sean is currently in 17 places around the globe with more to follow.

Do you personally know anyone who has done the walk along The Way?

Do you have their cell phone number?

Dark Matters unless it's Dark Energy

They handed out some Nobel prizes this week and once more I need to remind those who somewhat care about the composition of the Universe....and it seems like a small percentage.....that what we can see and feel is realllllllllly small compared to what we can't see and feel.

Dark Energy makes up 73% of the Universe
Dark Matter...23%
and
all visible matter........4%

4% is our visible reality!

Dark Energy is an unexplained force in the world of physics and thus neither you or I have the slightest idea about it's true nature.

Actually I do have an idea but you wouldn't believe it if I told you.

We do know there are two fields in which things can be explained through the world of physics........the field of Quantum Mechanics and the field of General Relativity.

Basically the BIG picture and the LITTLE picture. Einstein developed the BIG picture and multiple brainiacs are credited with the LITTLE guy....with the main star being Werner Heisenberg. Max Planck actually came up with the Quantum Mechanics name but
Max Born, Wolfgang Pauli and Neils Bohr are equally important in the formulation of the theory.

Schrodinger's cat experiment......(click on title of this piece)
helped further the process of trying to understand what Quantum Mechanics was...but if that comes up at a cocktail party I think it's time to go see a movie.

Lately I've been reading about nanobots in relationship to nanotechnology manufacturing and I seriously have some questions regarding safety. The human body is very sensitive and regulating construction of products by tiny robots might not be a process left in the hands of multi-national corporuptions whose sole goal is to increase profits.

I realize that sounds like the unibomber but anytime someone questions corporate reality then the next steps are disclaimers followed by car accidents and private plane crashes. With nanobots being injected into ANYTHING then anything becomes possible and usually when anything becomes possible then someone arrives on the scene that shouldn't be involved in the process of determining what is good and not good for the welfare of human beings.

I read that 300 BILLION nanobots can fit on the size of the period which ends this sentence.

I think I've got off point but every since that Neutrino story last week....things have been wacky and moving way too fast......and now I find out that 96% of the Universe is made up of energy and matter that we can't see.

I knew the figure was high but 96%????????????

?????????????????

??????????????

?????????????????????

And then Steve Jobs dies and a big bite is taken out of the Apple. I have a feeling that in his non-physical reality he will be enjoying some amazing interaction with both Dark Matter and Dark Energy.

Please keep in mind that Dark is not a negative word.....it's just dark.

Do you personally know anyone who has won a Nobel prize?

Can I get their cell phone number?

96%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The REAL baseball season starts NOW

Before I make my predictions on the World Series I need to wrap up a very unique Dodger season. And since this article is about baseball, all you nonunderstandingbaseballhaterswhocouldn't hitthecurveballorwereafraidoftheactualbaseball.....can now go do something else.

The Dodgers had one of their most interesting seasons in their wonderful history....but most of the interest was focused on off field events. Frank McCourt got more press than any player and it's not a good thing when the owner dominates the news. Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw tried to put the focus back between the lines but the fans just weren't interested in going to the games.

By lack of interest I am referring to attendance. I haven't seen the numbers yet but I'm sure this will turn out to be the worst attendance figures since coming to LA. Although most people blame the McCourt court scenes I think the economy played a major part and many people were quite happy to have a separate excuse to stay away....keeping in mind that a ball game for two can cost a few hundred dollars. It can be done for less but even a family of four in the nosebleed section can run $100 plus.

Donny Baseball finished his first year with a winning record and that's ok......but he's still a Yankee and I'm not sure the hardliner Dodger fans will ever accept him...just like they didn't really flip out over Joe Torre. It takes multiple World Series victories to swallow that Yankee tag and I'm not sure we'll see that in the near future.

I think the Dodger problems started when they didn't hire Mike Scioscia after he had been their Triple A manager in 1999.

You don't see the Yankees hiring Dodger legends and the same should apply here.

The real pain is when I jump ahead three years and have to see Clayton and Matt playing for the Yankees, Red Sox or Phillies......that's going to hurt. And it might explain why the fans are not going to the games. They realize that the Dodgers aren't in a position to spend the money to keep their best players so why bother to support someone that will soon belong to someone else?

To the positive side of the story.

Matt Kemp had one of the best offensive seasons ever by a Dodger. Obviously his break-up with Rihanna during the off season didn't affect his performance....unless the break-up was her idea and Matt decided to have a great season just to show who ruled the roost here in LA LAND.

2010 was a banner year for Matt Kemp's sex life and 2011 was a banner year for his baseball career. I wonder which one he wants to duplicate in 2012. I'm sure he'd like to have both but some people just can't pull it off.

Clayton Kershaw showed remarkable poise for a 23 year pitcher. It wasn't just the the fact that he won 21 games and led the league in ERA and strikeouts....it was the way he handled the media.
He says the right things because he seems to be having a great time and nothing appears overwhelming to him. Barring injuries he is a potential Hall of Fame candidate. Injuries are a big part of the process, so it's kind of silly to speculate on such nonsense.....but he has that kind of talent....both on and off the field.

NOW FOR THE PREDICTIONS OF POST SEASON PLAY.

My favorite World Series would be ARIZONA VS DETROIT. Since Arizona is managed by Kirk Gibson, who happens to have created the greatest moment in LA Dodger history, I see no reason not to root for them.....and since he was a star for Detroit then the whole thing makes sense.

In reality......Phillies vs. Yankees probably makes more sense.

I see something different than the obvious but then again I see a lot of things differently than most people.

Prediction.....

Tampa Bay vs. Philadelphia

Phillies win in 6 games.......with Chase Utley MVP

Play Ball!

Faster than the speed of light?

A few years ago I was reading about neutrinos and their existence in relationship to what contributes to the laws of quantum physics. I did a small colored pencil drawing of what a neutrino would look like and it is a pleasant image to observe.

The latest news from CERN seems to imply that neutrinos are faster than the speed of light.

FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT!

THAT, SIMPLY PUT......CHANGES EVERYTHING WHEN IT COMES TO THE THEORY OF RELATIVITY....AND IF THE THEORY OF RELATIVITY IS INCORRECT THAN I SUGGEST YOU HOLD ON BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS ABOUT TO CHANGE.

ONE CAVEAT......even though it's been three years since scientist first acknowledged the possibility of something being faster than light...they still need to do some additional testing.

But IF it turns out to be a reality than such silly things as time travel and space wrap movement throughout the universe.....will no longer be silly. It would instantly explain how beings from other galaxies come and go without being detected.

Molecular deconstruction followed by molecular reconstruction is the big one and if something is faster than light than the BIG ONE might actually be a possibility.

THE POSSIBILITIES BECOME ENDLESS IF ANYTHING IS FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT.

Right now in Jamaica.....Mr. Bolt is trying to figure out to make a neutrino milk shake.

Albert Einstein, on the other hand, is calling bulls..t!

I'm just simply trying to watch it all unfold....but it's so damn quick.....I don't know where to look.......

here....there....everywhere.........faster than the speed of light!

WOW!

You know someone or you are someone

A new report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveals that drugs have now officially replaced auto accidents as a cause of death in the United States.

37,485 people died in 2009 from drug deaths compared to 36,284 caused by traffic accidents.

PRESCRIPTION DRUG DEATHS OUTNUMBER HEROIN AND COCAINE DEATHS COMBINED.

PRESCRIPTION DRUG DEATHS OUTNUMBER HEROIN AND COCAINE DEATHS.....COMBINED.

XANAX, VALIUM, ATIVAN, KLONOPIN, OXY CONTIN, PERCOCET, VICODIN, NORCO,DILAUDID, METHADONE are various forms of prescription drugs that are being consumed by someone you know or by you.

These drugs are being prescribed by doctors for various forms of insomnia, anxiety and whatever.

DEATHS CAUSED BY THE USE OF MARIJUANA ARE PROBABLY WAY DOWN THE LIST OF CAUSES......ACTUALLY IT IS PROBABLY THE LEAST DEATH CAUSING DRUG ON THE PLANET........and yet the voting majority seems to be hell bent on making sure pot is not legalized. I wonder how many people who vote against legalizing pot are actually taking one of the prescription drugs listed above?

Please keep in mind that alcohol and nicotine, which are both legal, cause more deaths than all the prescription and illegal drugs ever invented.

Alcohol causes around 75,000 deaths a year and estimates for deaths caused by smoking range from 250,00 to 650,000.....

2.5 million people die every year in America. Heart disease is the leader with around 700,000 and it's hard to determine how much heart damage is done by the use of alcohol and nicotine but all indications point to those two factors being huge contributors to troubles with the heart. Of course pot smoking cannot be good for the heart, or the lungs, but one usually does a lot less when toking out....usually.

Prescription drugs are another entire story. People are given these drugs by the most trusted person in their life......their family doctor.

You probably know and love someone who abuses their patient doctor relationship.

A secondary market of buying and trading prescription drugs is another entire part of this story that needs to be addressed. I'm not sure how one could ever determine the numbers involved....but I suspect it's a large percentage of the problem.

Pot seems so much less abusive than everything mentioned above....and even though I don't smoke pot anymore....I do remember how little it took to achieve a feeling of altered consciousness....and altering the consciousness seems to be the goal of any drug use.

It's amazing that extreme exercise, meditation and laughter can create the same affects and then afterwards all you want to do is drink some fresh cool water and have a nice meal.

Exercise, diet and prayer........can replace any type of drug.....but it takes a desire and an effort and popping a pill is a whole lot easier.

Easier seems to be the optimum word here. It might be the American way and if that's the case then a change must be addressed that focuses on altering a group consciousness........ a consciousness that is not working.

Good luck on that one pilgrim!

Lots of reminders and some football too

Yesterday was a abundance of remembering something most of us would like to forget but of course that's like trying to forget your own birthday. The older one gets.....the more one tries to ignore the inevitable. Of course there is an entire generation that doesn't have the images stuck in their mind except for what we feed them.

Some of the things we feed them include comparisons to Pearl Harbor, but when that happens it gives much too much credence to a band of extremists. Islamic suicide squads cannot be linked to a well armed country that was hell bent on controlling half of the world. I wonder how Germany and Japan would have gone about sharing the world if they had been victorious. I'm sure a war between those two would have taken place fairly soon after the end of WW ll. Talk about two crazy entities.

I'm pretty sure it was predetermined in the heavens that both those countries would get their asses kicked.

I'm really hoping that the same ass kicking will apply to any group of extremists who think that murder and suicide is an honorable experience.

And then after all the ceremonies were complete......... there were professional football games played where each and every one of the participants tried to knock the heads off of anybody not wearing their same uniform.

My team (RAMS) started off perfect and then everything went downhill. Not only did they lose but six of their most important players got hurt. Maybe they were just honoring the victims of 9/11 by becoming victims themselves.

I love it when professional athletes are giving and responsible.

Anyway....9/11 is behind us for another year, unless of course we had a family member taken that day....and then it's a forever hole that just sits there and hopefully gets slowly filled with love and wonderful human interactions. Some times the hole never gets any smaller and wonderful human interaction just doesn't take place.

And sometimes that's even sadder than the actual event which created the hole.

The American people seem to be a people that appear very capable of filling the hole....and for that I'm really thankful to be part of the experience....and again I feel very lucky to have been born in just such a place.

Now the real question is.......did I pick it or am I just a random accident?

I'd like to believe my true nature has something to do with where I am and who I want to be.

My true nature being.....the non-physical reality that has no time clock.

And that is really another subject for another day.

For now......have a nice 9/12....9/13......9/14....and on and on and on.......
