Deja vu two

A few years ago I wrote a piece about Voyager leaving our solar system.  I realize there are two Voyagers but they were both launched in 1977 so they can't be too far apart even though V2 is on a slower trajectory.  Keep in mind 100,000 miles is a very short distance when dancing through space.

Obviously I'm quite confused because yesterday it was reported that Voyager 1 is getting ready to "leave the bubble."

The "BUBBLE" refers to the hellopause which sits outside the hellosheath which rests outside the termination shock zone.

I THOUGHT THAT PARTICULAR EVENT OCCURRED A FEW YEARS AGO and if I take time to research my archives I'm pretty sure I can locate the story.

OF COURSE I COULD BE EXPERIENCING A HUGE SLICE OF DEJA VU....but it's so hard to tell during election years because EVERYTHING seems to be a deja vu.

In fact....I think I wrote that line 5 years ago.

Voyager 1 is 11.3 BILLION miles from the sun and apparently is getting very close to exiting our teeny tiny solar system,  BUT (AND THIS IS HUGE BUTT....EVEN BIGGER THAN J'LO) scientists don't know where the edge of the solar system is......BUT....(lots of butts here) they think the spacecraft MUST be getting close.

HUH?

They don't know where the edge is but Voyager must be getting close.

There appears to be some scientific guessing involved in when the actual event might happen so I don't feel so bad about thinking that it already happened because maybe it did happen and those brainiacs just forgot.  No one ever said science was an exact science.

One of the nice sidebars to the traveling Voyager show is that IT carries a record of human experiences on the planet Earth.....and maybe a little moon tale.

It's a GOLDEN RECORD and it looks like this......

...........and I swear to God that I've never seen this image before and I can show you a few paintings of mine that look quite similar.

Of course anyone suffering from repeated sessions of Deja Vu could be potentially stealing anything and everything over and over and over.

A few years ago I wrote a piece about Voyager leaving our solar.....OMG it's happening again....I am so sorry and I am so sorry and I am so sor------------stop it!

I'm pretty sure this anomaly is caused by the election frenzy that is just heating up.

THE BEST THING I'VE HEARD SO FAR FROM EITHER PARTY IS THE DEAL PRESIDENT OBAMA MADE WITH THE AUTOMOBILE COMPANIES WHEN HE BAILED THEM OUT.

THE DEAL CONCERNS THE MILES PER GALLEON THAT NEW CARS MUST REACH BY TWO DIFFERENT DATES

34 MPG BY 2016 AND 50 BY 2024

THIS IS A HUGE STORY AND ONE THAT DOESN'T GET TOLD ENOUGH.

I HAVE HEARD THAT MITT WOULD GET RID OF IT IF HE IS ELECTED.

WHY ON EARTH WOULD ANYONE WANT TO REVERSE THAT AGREEMENT?

WHY?  (it's not that hard to answer)

I MUST BE WRONG......THE REPUBLICAN PARTY COULDN'T BE THAT STUPID
COULD THEY?

Since they don't believe in Global Warming maybe they don't believe in good gas mileage....and it follows that they don't believe Voyager will ever leave our solar system. They don't know why so many people are on food stamps and they don't believe health care should be available to everyone....and they don't believe rich people should pay higher taxes....and I hate to say it....but they don't seem to think an African American could, should or would ever be elected President of the USA.  There appears to be a certain type of hate that is much different than how we felt about GW.  Democrats thought Bush goofy.  Republicans actually seem to hate Obama.  BIG DIFFERENCE in how the two parties operate.  I remember actually hating Nixon so I remember the attitude....but I grew to be a more loving and tolerant person.  The Republican party sppears to be headed to a place that I would describe as.....ugly.

I really believe I've written all of this before so maybe it's.....

deja vu two too......

A few years ago I wrote a piece about................

Michael Timothy McAlevey
