It amazes me how the announcers go out of there way to make second and third place finishers feel horrible about their performances and their lives....especially the after event interviewers who talk to the performers within minutes of their events.

It's very hard to watch when someone interviews a second place finsher and says..."you must be extremely disappointed in your performance."

IT'S RIDICULOUS TO SAY SOMEONE SHOULD BE DISAPPOINTED AFTER WORKING SO HARD TO WIN A MEDAL.

It's also silly to hear an announcer recap the 100 meter race and say...."you can't let Bolt get that kind of lead."

OTHER THAN GRABBING HIS FREAKIN SHIRT WHAT COULD SOMEONE DO TO PREVENT HIM FROM GETTING THAT KIND OF LEAD?

I feel sorry for the families of the athletes who are watching TV while their loved ones give everything they have only to finish second or third and then be humiliated by an announcer asking them "why didn't you do better?"

BUT OTHER THAN THAT SMALL CRITICISM.....I'M TELLING YOU FLAT OUT

THIS IS THE GREATEST REALITY SHOW ON TV...and

there's probably only 3 or 4 million people watching it.
