WHY DOES INDIA HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONS AND 600,000,000 PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TOILETS?
WHY DOES JAPAN HAVE 55 NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS BUILT ON TOP OF A VOLCANIC MOUNTAIN RANGE?
I do realize that economics seems to be the answer to any question regarding both Nuclear and Oil drilling situations.
WHAT ISN'T UNDERSTOOD IS THE ECONOMICS
AFTER SOMETHING GOES WRONG.
THE COST OF FIXING A OIL SPILL DOESN'T EVEN COMPARE TO THE COST OF FIXING A NUCLEAR DISASTER.
RADIATION CLEANUP MAKES OIL SPILL CLEANUP SEEM LIKE A WALK IN THE PARK......and the creatures that are affected in the ocean are slightly less important than the creatures affected by a nuclear disaster.
and one last thing.....
the radiation problem continues for about 250,000 years.
