MAGIC NUMBER AND NUMBER ONE and then the RAMS

Dodgers magic number is 10 and USC number is ONE and then we have the RAMS.

Anyone who says coaching doesn't matter has never been a coach or known a coach.

The Trojans might have the greatest college football coach that ever lived.

THAT'S A WOW....but when one weighs in on coaches being able to motivate players and then explain almost every aspect of life then one has to consider Pete Carroll as one of the greatest coaches in history.

LA has been incredibly fortunate to have some of the greatest coaches of all time....starting with John Wooden who didn't win a championship until after 16 years of coaching.

IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT WINNING. IT'S ABOUT TEACHING YOUNG PEOPLE HOW TO COMPETE IN A VERY COMPETITIVE WORLD.

Pete Carroll credits John Wooden with being the motivator in how he approaches the art of coaching. And then after everything is said and done...the guy can throw a football 55 yards.

HE APPEARS TO BE A PERSON WHO WILL PLAY CATCH...ANYTIME...ANYWHERE....WITH ANYONE WHO CAN CATCH AND THROW.

I can't imagine how a family feels when he shows up in their house and wants their kid to play at USC. IT'S PROBABLY SOMEWHAT SURREAL.

He is a major positive motivational human being and if he stays at USC for another ten years then I am fairly certain that he will be regarded as the greatest college football coach who ever lived.

It's the best time to be a USC football fan and I never though I'd say this....IT'S EVEN BETTER THAN WHEN JOHN McKAY WAS COACH.

I LOVED JOHN BUT HE COULDN'T THROW THE BALL 55 YARDS....he was funnier but humor only matters when you are losing...and so far Pete Carroll doesn't subscribe to that scenario.

THE DODGERS ARE 12-2 and I'm just holding my breath...only five games over .500 so there's always the chance that things could go south...but it looks good and once again I ask you to say a little prayer for a

FREEWAY WORLD SERIES

and then there's the Rams

wow and ouch and wow and ouch and how could a team be so weak in a sport where all players are somewhat the same....except for the superstars....

I HAVE TO POINT TO THE COACHES.....there's no other answer.....

TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

They are painful to watch but at least I got to watch them and that's not going to happen very often this year....which might be the best part of this story.

AS GREAT AS THE TROJANS ARE....THE RAMS ARE THAT BAD.
and
that's sad

and on top of that... I have to watch Kurt Warmer throw for 300 yards and lead Arizona to a victory....that's just not right.

I wish there was something important going on politically so I could take my mind off of sports.....

Hummmm...let me think....there must be something going on.....hummmmmmm
