GUSTAV AND BUSH KICK GOP'S ASS

GUSTAV just kicked the GOP's ass but he couldn't have done it without George's help.

It's not like the GOP Convention was being held in New Orleans....in fact it was being held about 1500 miles north of the gulf coast cities...and the only reason the opening day was MOSTLY postponed was because of how George W. Bush handed KATRINA.

HAD HE DONE HIS JOB AT THE TIME AND HAD HE MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS PUT BACK TO NORMAL IN THE LAST THREE YEARS...THEN THE GUILT OF STARTING A CONVENTION WOULD NEVER HAVE SURFACED.

GUN-SHY is the word.

HAD GEORGE W. BUSH SPENT ONE MONTH OF THE IRAQ WAR FUNDS ON NEW ORLEANS THEN WE WOULD SEE A NORMAL OPENING FOR THE GOP BIG MOMENT.

But the good news for the GOP is that George will not be attending the convention...

He's on his way down to the gulf states to oversee the carnage...

The old expression.....a little bit late to the dance....seems to fit nicely in this case.

SO while everybody is looking at Gustav....there are some of us that know exactly why the convention was basically put on hold until tomorrow.

The only thing more ironic would have been to name the storm....."GEORGE"

but I'm sure Cheney would have nixed that!
