PHYSICAL OLYMPICS TO MENTAL OLYMPICS

For the last two weeks the world has watched physical excellence in Beijing and now over the next two weeks attention will turn to the city of Denver and Minneapolis-Saint Paul...where we will HOPEFULLY watch mental excellence.

I REALIZE THAT IS A LARGE WORD

HOPEFULLY

and I fully understand the large segment of our population (50%)that thinks that the Democratic and Republican Conventions are just plain examples of

BULLS..T

But my answer to them is.....

IT'S THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN

and all things come forth from what this two party system projects.

LAWS

TAXES

WAR

and all other things that might be deemed important......but after LAWS, TAXES and WAR it seems everything is further down the list.

So while we get ready for organized political mind altering speeches I thought it would be nice to simply remember the last two weeks in Beijing.

Special kudos to Kobe....he started talking about the Olympics three years ago and he probably had the greatest time of his life....(except for births of daughters)

It turns out that he's probably the most popular athlete in China

(who isn't Chinese)

but his jersey out sells Mr. Ming's and that blows my mind.
