Heavyweight fight

As IOWA gets closer and closer.....the fight is getting intense.

This week Barack landed the Oprah punch and it has staggered Hillary. She is wobbling and Bill has rushed in and is trying to rejuvenate her. Whether or not he can make a difference seems to be the major question.

There is the possibility that John Edwards might emerge as the winner. He's not taking any direct blows and he might prove to be the safe alternative to the other two who seem to be only focused on each other.

There is some questions out there that Oprah is using her tremendous media power in ways that just aren't deemed fair.

Of course, in politics fair has always been a questionable issue so I'm not really sure how I personally feel about this situation. I think that since the radio air waves are dominated by right wing announcers, Oprah's left reaching empire is a nice counterbalance.

I do know that after the nominations are set, any energy Oprah extends will be highly appreciated by the Democratic nominee.

Hopefully she will back, with the same present furor, whoever gets the nomination.

If the Democratcs could decide before Iowa that Hillary should be President and Barack should be Vice-President then all of this would be settled.

But I'm not sure Barack would settle for number two....and I'm pretty sure Hillary only wants the top spot.....so the battle continues.

Smack, wham, boom....punches are thrown.....blood is showing and IOWA has more attention than anytime in history.

I'm looking for some big celebrity counterpunch from the Hillary camp and if anybody in her corner can make that happen.....it's Bill.

This is getting good.
