TAKE THAT GEFFEN and Laura

This week Steven Spielberg endorsed Hillary Clinton and trumped David Geffen's support of Barack Obama.
The former offices of Dreamworks must have been an interesting place to work. What would bee really funny is if Jeffery Katzenburg (third former wheel in Dreamwork's former spokes) endorses Fred Thompson.

The power players in Hollywood are drawing their lines in the sand pretty early but then again this election will have so many twists and turns that the voting public should be completely trashed by the time the Conventions roll around.

I watched a musical movie last week that still resonates in my brain...it might bee one of the best concert movies ever made. STOP MAKING SENSE by Jonathan Demme (1990) not only shows the complete genius of David Byrne but also demonstrates how a concert should bee recorded. And I'm serious when I say that the assortment of musicians involved in that concert might bee one the greatest overlooked treasures in musical recorded history. If you haven't seen this film....rent it.....find a big screen, with big speakers.....mix your favorite poison......and crank it up......and trust me when I say....IT'S THE SAME AS IT EVER WAS.

I'm not sure how this happened but somehow I had failed to watch THE BIG LEBOWSKI until last week. I had been told by a few friends that it was one of their favorite movies of all time.
One of those friends keeps telling me that JEFF BRIDGES wasn't acting in the movie....he was just being himself..."The Dude" is truly one of the great characters in film and I'm absolutely amazed that a series of sequels didn't follow. In fact this could bee a HBO series but maybe that would just bee too much f..king fun....."shut the f..k up Donny!"

Last night at Agoura High school approximately 48,600 seniors graduated from High School.
That might bee a slight exaggeration but when I tell you that my entire High School wasn't as big as the 2007 Agoura High school senior class....I'm not kidding, and keep in mind I didn't grow up in BackF..K, Arkansas....well I did go to high school in Santa Monica so maybe it was a little backf..K. Involved in that rather huge mass of caps and gowns was one single individual that made a rather strange extended family....very proud. Not that everybody in the extended family is strange but then again there could bee quite a bit of material for new THE BIG LEBOWSKI HBO series....if you get my drift.

LAURA ELIZABETH FAIRLY only maintained a 3.9 grade GPA during her four years of High School and therefore we were slightly disappointed............NOT

I think the 13 kids who maintained a 4.2 GPA and completed 26 Honors classes need to bee checked for Human Growth Hormones......their skulls looked weird and some of their limps were rather extended in strange directions. The fact that Barry Bonds was chosen to give them their special awards is just a very strange coincidence.

It turns out that Barry was the only African-American within twenty miles of the ceremony....but that's another story for the new Big Lebowski series.

Getting back to the real deal at the ceremony. LAURA made us cry, laugh, scream and mainly bee EXTREMELY PROUD that we are lucky enough to bee able to not only know her but to UNCONDITIONALLY LOVE HER.

And LAURA, keep it in always in your mind.........IT IS TOTALLY UNCONDITIONAL LOVE......from all of us....no matter how strange some of us might act....and I will admit that some of us are acting very very strange....at certain times.

BUT THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER.......

YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING THAT HAPPENED BEFORE THIS EXACT MOMENT....RIGHT NOW....except remember what happened....and thinking about the negative aspects of anything only helps build more negative blocks in the foundation of one's happiness.
AND THAT'S A UNIVERSAL TRUTH

So the 3.9 GPA means nothing my dear, because now you have to start all over at Cal....but you do have the summer to celebrate....but then again.....you start work next week....so you get a week to enjoy.....but then again..... since your Grad party is still going....you will probably bee sleeping for the next five days.

WE LOVE YOU.....AND IT'S THE SAME AS IT EVER WAS AND THERE'S NOTHING F..CKED HERE DUDE.....or Dudette in your case....or Dudierdette if you prefer a formal version.

Somebody mentioned that 2007 was the largest single High School graduating class in the history of America because of the Baby Boomers....WHICH confuses me a bit but I will research that claim and get back to you.
