I've been rather lackadaisical in my focus on OTHER players in the Global Market but since the G-8 meeting gets underway tomorrow in Germany...I thought I'd devote some time and energy somewhere else besides China, Iraq and Darfur.
I've been thinking about this for a few days and wondering where I should travel with my MIND JAZZ.
Then this morning I wake up and on the front page of the LA TIMES(6-6-07) is a story by a woman reporter named MEGAN K. STACK.

I highly suggest that you read the entire article because it's not often that one gets reminded that living with the Flintstones can be a current event.

Women wear ABAYA's because men in Saudi Arabia have no control over their most primal instincts.....absolutely NO CONTROL.....NONE. Men in Saudi Arabia can't even look at women without attacking them and committing acts of sexual violence.
WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE? Why would women be required to cover up except for the simple fact that men just simply can't control their most animalistic desires.

HAS SAUDI ARABIA NOT BEEN INFORMED OF THE NEWS.....??????

THAT ACTING OUT EVERY MENTAL OR PHYSICAL URGE IS A SIGN OF CRO-MAGNUM AND NEANDERTHAL BEHAVIOR....AND THAT THE CURRENT LEVEL OF HUMAN EVOLUTION DOESN'T EVEN RECOGNIZE THE EXISTENCE OF SUCH PRIMITIVE BEHAVIOR........oh, except in Saudi Arabia and every other backward thinking society that adheres to the principle that women need to be covered up so that men don't attack them.

Just picture for one second.....it's November 2008 and Bill Clinton's wife has just been elected President of the United States of America. She plans a visit to Saudi Arabia and has to decide on what color her ABAYA will be.....hummm....let's see.....light fuscia or periwinkle blue.......hummmm. She arrives in Riyadh and wants to stop for a Venti Latte, with no foam, at the local Starbucks. She's told that she needs to go into the "family section." She looks around at the men who won't look at her because they will want to have sex if they see her face......ok, ok....stop laughing....seriously......the men of Saudi Arabia cannot control their desires no matter what the woman looks like.......I guess. Maybe they are just trying to cover up the women's faces because they are so ugly....which presents a different problem based on something called beauty's only skin deep...or blah blah blah.......any way she looks around the room and decides at that moment that SOLAR POWERED CARS and LED LIGHTING AND WIND TURBINES are actually the only things that make sense.

And suddenly Saudi Arabia is not our ally and not our trusted friend.....because a decision has just been made to not buy what they are selling.....

FRIENDS AND ALLIES....and I think how often we put down the French and I never hear any crap about Saudi Arabia.....because they have a little thing called.....oil.

If you had the choice......live in PARIS or live in RIYADH?

Stop beating up the French when there really are other places that need our attention....or actually.... need a lot less of our attention (dollars) until they join the modern world.
