Magnetic Collisions

A while ago I wrote about CERN (REFER TO BLOG...UNIVERSE IN AND OUT...DEC 26TH) the underground Large Haldron Collider that "they" hope to have up and running by the end of this year. You might recall that one of the scientist stated that he was hopping that they might create a MIN-BLACK HOLE....which totally freaked me out.

All one has to do is read what a black hole is and then simply ask oneself if a MINI-BLACK HOLE is something you want to be around.

On Friday they installed a 1,920 TON magnet which will help in the collision process.....which is a process that will create 600 MILLION collisions a second.....Each collision will re-create conditions that existed nano-seconds after the Big Bang....

THE BIG BANG WAS A FIREBALL OF ENERGETIC RADIATION THAT SCIENTISTS SAY ..."HAPPENED ABOUT 15 BILLION YEARS AGO AND BROUGHT
THE
UNIVERSE
INTO
EXISTENCE."

ONE OF THE THINGS THE SCIENTISTS SAY COULD HAPPEN....IS NEW KNOWLEDGE REGARDING POSSIBLE DIMENSIONS BEYOND THE FOUR OF TRADITIONAL PHYSICS....

WIDTH
LENGTH
HEIGHT
TIME

IF THERE WERE ANY ARTISTS INVOLVED IN THE CERN PROJECT, THEY COULD SAVE THEM A WHOLE BUNCH OF MONEY....AND POSSIBLY A VERY LARGE CATASTROPHE.

'SOMETIMES THE SOUL OF AN ARTIST CAN KNOW FOR SURE
WHAT THE MIND OF A SCIENTIST WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND."

SOMETIMES IS THE OPERABLE WORD HERE....AND THIS COULD BE ONE OF THOSE SOMETIMES.

If they manage to create a MINI-BLACK HOLE we probably won't have to be concerned with COLONY COLLAPSE DISORDER any longer. In fact the BEES might be checking out early because they know what's coming.

I might be just a tad bit paranoid.......but if they are successful....and creating a MINI-BLACK HOLE would signify success, according to them, then it could be a form of success that potentially has the word "OOPS" at the end.

Not good to hear "OOPS" at the end of an experiment....any experiment.....but most failed experiments simply mean tossing out a few vials and reworking a few equations.

I've tried to find some counter arguments regarding this CERN experiment "to duplicate the moments that started the universe" but there's nothing on line.....

Can you help me out here.....am I alone on this island?

I'm just not a big fan of collisions......seems like someone always gets hurt.

And this appears to be the collision to end all collisions.

Help
