A column while I re-group

I WROTE THIS "COLUMN" ABOUT A YEAR AGO....

Revisiting “The Dancing Wu Li Masters” by Gary Zukav

When I originally read this book I though Mr. Zukav was involved in the scientific community at Harvard. I was always curious how he followed this up with “Seat of the Soul”.......which had no scientific material within its covers.

Last night I started reading TDWLM again and quickly discovered that he had no scientific background except for a curiosity.....which for an artist is all the science we need.

Written in 1979 this book is exactly what it claims to be.....a wonderful laymen’s guide to the world of Quantum Physics. Starting with the simple fact of explaining that the “Old Physics,” which was the physics of Issac Newton, was replaced in 1900 by the “New Physics” which started with Max Planck.

Albert Einstein formulated his “Theory of Relativity” in 1905. Planck taking us into the nano-world and Einstein explaining the larger picture, started a sequence that helped the human mind move further up the ladder of evolution.

How far up that ladder? Who knows.

How high is that ladder? Who knows.

The scariest thing seems to be that we have a vast amount of human beings on this planet that aren’t really sure if there even is a ladder......

In the index of this book there isn’t a reference to the”String Theory” so I would assume he had no awareness of
that theory or NO ONE had any awareness of that theory in 1979.

Brian Greene was probably 13 years old in 1979.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING THIS BOOK IF YOU HAVE THE SLIGHTEST INTEREST IN QUANTUM PHYSICS AND DON'T THINK YOU HAVE A CHANCE OF UNDERSTANDING.
