Multi Verse, Parallel Universes and of course Heaven

I'VE NEVER CONNECTED  the three topics together but it seems so obvious that I find it almost impossible to believe that I hadn't previously made the connection.

THE FACTS ARE right there.

WHEN DEATH VISITS Heaven suddenly becomes the only answer that makes any sense, especially for those who have been indoctrinated within a Christian religionists environment and of course for the young.

While spending the last 30 years interested in Quantum Physics and translating my interest into my artwork and writing, I've come across some amazing theories.  The truth about theories is that almost anyone can have one.  It helps to have a valid theory in the quantum mechanic world IF one possesses an advanced understanding of math.  Apparently Einstein wasn't a great mathematician but that didn't hinder his ability to create equations.

In doing some research into the theory of time-travel I have come to the conclusion (not the first one, to be sure) that traveling back and forth in time simply can't be possible because of the speed with which we are moving through the Universe.  The Earth is traveling about 67,000 MPH and the Solar System is going about 450,000 MPH....which means that if you wanted to travel back to 1938 to eliminate Hitler you would miss the physical location by millions and millions and millions of miles.

Of course the perplexity of TIME has helped to create infinite theories and opinions both realistic and science fictional....and along with GRAVITY have helped to humble the human brain that always seeks precise answers to the mysteries of the Universe.

For years I've stated that the "mysteries of the the universe will always far outnumber the known realities"  but great minds of scientific exploration don't adhere to that "artistic" concept.

A NEW AWARENESS that I recently experienced is that Heaven and Parallel Universes have the same cathartic possibilities when dealing with the death of a loved one.

YOU CAN'T TRAVEL BACKWARDS IN TIME TO CHANGE ANYTHING

BUT

YOU CAN PERHAPS TRAVEL SIDEWAYS

IF

Parallel Universes exist.

AND IF THEY EXIST THEY PERHAPS EXIST IN MULTIPLES which means the person you lost in this universe is very much alive in another OR in multiple others.

There are some very serious scientific minds that believe in Parallel Universes.

When I stop and consider that maybe Sean Maximilian McAlevey, who left this Universe in 1994 is actually living in another Universe, or maybe multiple Universes, it makes me smile.  It also makes me think that the Creator of the Universe, when creating souls, was engaged beyond our wildest imaginations.

Previously I only relied on Heaven to generate a warm feeling regarding the people I've lost.

The human species has always underestimated what a Creator of the Universe is capable of....and creating Parallel Universes almost makes more sense than creating a Heaven.

But make no mistake, explaining Heaven to a 5 year old is much easier than explaining Parallel Universes.

But for those of you who have reached a mental maturity level......Parallel Universes might be what you've been looking for.

It strangely makes as much sense as any other theory about what happens when we exit this physical reality.

AND IT ADDS TO THE ETERNAL DURALBILITY OF OUR

SOUL.

Five months under new leadership

It's amazing to hear the Trump supporters (I have, sadly, one and a half in my house) belittle Joe and continue to pump up the orange TV game host.

Ignoring how calm the energy level has been from the White House by proclaiming that "Sleepy Joe" has done nothing and is personally trying to destroy America, the Trump fanatics just keep trying to raise the tension.

I have heard the term Communists more in the last six months than during the entire cold war.  It used to be that we (Democrats) were Socialists but now that we are in the White House we are flat out Commies.

The word murderer is also being used in relationship to supporting a woman's right to choose.

The CONSPIRACY THEORIEST are literally reaching new heights of absurdity and people like Alex Jones are becoming stronger with the people who refuse to accept the last election. The goofy FOX news guy who I won't mention his name (there's more than one but there's a leader) just won't stop blowing smoke up Trump's ass....WHILE completely rippin Joe and Kamala apart.

The amount of Trump states that are implementing new restrictive voter rules is staggering but nothing compares to the situation going on in Arizona.

Arizona ballots

Of course the Trumpeters will read the above story and say "it's fake news on MNSBC"

The fact that a conspiracy theory supporter is controlling the recount just makes this story even more ridiculous.

I'm trying to imagine the actual percentage of people who supported the BIG LIE about the election who turned away and became sensible and finally accepted reality.

IT'S SAD TO SAY....BUT MY GUESS IS THAT PERCENTAGE IS UNDER

5 PERCENT

OF THE 74 MILLION PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR DONALD J TRUMP THAT MEANS (MY GUESS) THAT ONLY 3.9 MILLION STOPPED DRINKING THE KOOL-AID.  WHICH LEAVES 71.3 MILLION PEOPLE NOT ONLY DRINKING THE KOOL-AID BUT ASKING FOR SECOND HELPINGS.

By the way did you read about Sydney Powell's (one of Trump's lawyers) answer in regards to being sued by the voting machine companies?

"Of course I was making stuff up (paraphrase) and any reasonable person would know that."

I'm pretty sure that FOX NEWS didn't cover that response from her even though during the election they went to her almost every night and covered her repeated lies.

And speaking of FOX NEWS it turns out that a large percentage of the 480 people arrested (so far) for Jan 6 assault on the Capitol Building have stated that FOX NEWS made them do it.

I keep telling people to read about the OORT CLOUD …but it seems that nobody cares.

OORT

It's a size issue just like our Sun and our solar system takes 226 MILLION years to travel ONE TIME around the center of the Milky Way galaxy.

Imagine those people who think Donald J. Trump is the type of person who should be leading the greatest Democracy ever created on this little tiny planet, contemplating the size of our Universe.

Every conspiracy theorists should be given a test on actual facts, especially scientific facts because if you stop and think about it for a sec or two, you know most of those people don't believe in Climate Change. They also believe we have a weak military and that every human being who tries to cross our border is a criminal or they have Covid...and most of all they believe Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are Commies.

71.3 MILLION

Scary!

FIRST MIND JAZZ POST DECEMBER 2006 Article written Nov 2006

Dark Energy

11-17-06

Page 25 of today’s LA TIMES has this headline……

DARK ENERGY DATES BACK TO YOUNG DAYS OF UNIVERSE

Sub heading reads

THE FINDING GIVES ASTRONOMERS AN IMPORTANT NEW CLUE TO HOW GRAVITY WORKS

Those might seem like important topics but when I consider that probably only 200,000 people in Los Angeles will read this article, then the importance gets diminished…..well maybe not diminished…. but the reception is truly limited.

SIDE-BAR ON NUMBERS…..circulation of Times is a little over 1 million….of those
readers…..my guess is that 300,000 only read the Sports Section…..another 100,000 only read the Business section…..and 250,000 only read the Calendar section.

Nationwide the figure probably jumps to 2 million…who might read this article.

So there are 2 million people today that are asking a few simple questions…..like
what the hell is DARK ENERGY? And don’t we know what causes gravity to work?
Out of the 2 million people there might be 20,000 who know what DARK ENERGY is….and out of those 20,000 there might be 2000 who understand the true concept.

First let’s focus on DARK ENERGY and what it is….or what it wants us to think it is…..or what it might turn into……or what it used to be……

Let’s agree on one principle…..the speculative nature of what DARK ENERGY is….should be a rather large portion of our discussion.

A short definition of DARK ENERGY says it is “the enigmatic force that is causing the universe to expand.”

ENIGMATIC FORCE…..whoa….hold it right there.

Time for definition…..

Enigmatic….of or like an enigma; perplexing; baffling….

which now means we need to define

Enigma…n pl, -mas …to speak in riddles. 1. a perplexing, usually ambiguous, statement; riddle
2.a perplexing, baffling, or seemingly inexplicable matter, person, etc. SYN. See
MYSTERY

I realize that I am not a scientist......nor am I an astronomer…..but I do somewhat understand the English language and when I see the word enigmatic being used to describe DARK ENERGY then immediately I have to ask……

WHO REALLY KNOWS WHAT IT IS,
OR WHAT IT DOES? (And who actually
got to name it?) after all….a mystery is a mystery…..

Even the impeccably intelligent Albert Einstein backed off this issue because there was no concrete evidence….or mathematical proof.

I have a strange feeling that sometime in the relatively near future…..which could mean anytime within the next 5000 years…..someone is going to discover a separate quark environment that will result in DARK ENERGY becoming NOT SO DARK ENERGY
And then someone else will come along and reveal that they have discovered that DARK ENERGY is really LIGHT ENERGY….with tiny slivers of darkness.

Which I believe pretty much describes the human species.

I believe that DARK ENERGY is alive and living within the hearts and souls of human beings who could improve the living situations for millions….but who refuse for various reasons.

DARK ENERGY is the refusal to feed the starving masses around the planet
DARK ENERGY is the refusal to supply up to date HIV & AIDS medication to the millions who are suffering around the planet.
DARK ENERGY is the behavior of the warlords in DUFAR.
DARK ENERGY is the behavior of anyone who arranges that a bomb be detonated in the presence of civilians…anywhere on the planet.

Obviously each of us could compile a long list of what DARK ENERGY might be….
And a “NE0-ILLUMINATION” says that “happiness might be based on much truth one can ignore.”

At this moment today….right now….I choose to ignore DARK ENERGY and thus that ends this column.

Peace
Michael Timothy McAlevey

p.s. I have a strange sensation that DARK ENERGY maintains a fairly powerful presence in spite of my refusing to be sucked in. Tomorrow DE could dominate my life and the list could become incredibly lonnnnnnnnnng.

Posted every year since 2006 on Earth Day...one day early this time because of Greta

There's a soul in the life of the land where we live

IT'S CLEAR
IT’S CLEAN
IT’S FRESH
AND IT’S OURS
IT DOESN’T CARE WHERE WE’VE COME FROM
IT DOESN’T ASK WHO WE ARE
JUST
DO WE LOVE
WHERE WE STAND
AT THIS TIME
WE CAN DRINK ALL ITS WATER
AND MINE ALL IT’S COAL
BUT WHEN WE MIX THE TWO TOGETHER
IT TROUBLES HER SOUL
WE CAN TEST ALL THE BOMBS
AND DESTROY EVERY LAST TREE
AND THE ONLY THING IT REALLY DOES
IS ELIMINATE YOU AND ME

THE HARM THAT WE BRING
DOESN’T BOTHER THE LAND
WE ONLY HURT OURSELVES
BY FAILING TO UNDERSTAND
THAT THERE’S A SOUL IN THE LIFE OF THE LAND WHERE WE LIVE
IT’S CLEAR
IT’S CLEAN
IT’S FRESH
AND IT’S OURS
IT DOESN’T CARE WHERE WE’VE COME FROM
IT DOESN’T ASK WHO WE ARE
JUST
DO WE LOVE
WHERE WE STAND
AT THIS TIME

WE ARE GIVEN ALL THE TREASURES
THAT ANYONE COULD USE
BUT IF WE DON’T HAVE VISION
THEN ALL WE DO IS LOSE

WE DUMP OUR PROBLEMS
IN EVERY OCEAN, RIVER AND STREAM
WE LIVE BY A CODE OF CONSUMPTION
THAT DARKENS EVERY DREAM
WE THINK THAT OIL IS OUR GOLD
BECAUSE IT MOVES MACHINES AND MAN
AND ALL IT REALLY DOES
IS REMOVE THE SPRINGS OF LAND
WE NEED THAT SPECIAL CRUDE
BECAUSE WE’VE IGNORED OTHER WAYS
AND ALL WE’VE ENDED UP WITH
IS COUGHING THROUGH A HAZE

OUR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN
WILL REALLY PAY THE PRICE
AND JUST THAT THOUGHT ALONE
DOESN’T MAKE US VERY NICE

AND WHEN THE DUST HAS FINALLY SETTLED
AND ALL THE BILLS HAVE BEEN PAID
IT IS ONLY THE SIMPLE FACT
THAT’S THERE’S ONE MISTAKE WE’VE MADE

WE THOUGHT WE CONTROLLED THE EARTH
BY DOMINATING THE LAND
AND IT SIMPLY COMES DOWN TO ONE THING
THAT WE JUST DIDN’T UNDERSTAND

THAT THERE’S A SOUL IN THE LIFE OF THE LAND WHERE WE LIVE
IT’S CLEAR
IT’S CLEAN
IT’S FRESH
AND IT’S OURS
IT DOESN’T CARE WHERE WE COME FROM
IT DOESN’T ASK WHO WE ARE
JUST
DO WE LOVE
WHERE WE STAND
AT THIS TIME

Have a nice Earth Day.

Can the changes to voting rules hold up in court

The states that are trying to make it harder to vote seem to be the states that President Biff (remember him) claimed were involved in fraud.

THERE WAS NO FRAUD except for the tiny tiny tiny amount that occur every election....

I always thought that environmental issues were the main differences between Democrats and Republicans, but now all one has to do is ask a simple question.

DO YOU THINK IT SHOULD BE EASIER TO VOTE OR HARDER?

If you think it should be harder then you either are a full blown Republican OR you drank the kool-aid and totally think the last election was stolen from the game show show host.

With 2020 being the year of Covid I'm surprised that mail in ballots haven't become the main source of voting for the next decade.

Georgia added (according to NY Times) 16 new provisions to the voting law and the actual signing of the bill by six older white guys (of which I am one, but not one thank you) simply added to the debacle,

There will be court involvement for sure but since Biff got 3 Supreme Court judges I'm not sure the outcome with satisfy millions of minorities..

PLEASE DON'T BE SILLY AND SAY THE NEW VOTING RULES AREN'T DIRECTED AT MINORITIES. If that is your response then you probably think Trump should run again in 2024 and if that's what you think then why the hell are you reading this?

For those of you who actually follow politics in Washington I'm sure you are enjoying the relative calmness of the last two months.

Whatever you think of Joe Biden the contrast of personalities between Donald J Trump and Joe is wider than that gap at the Grand Canyon.  The one I'm referring to is the one that runs north and south....the entire length of the canyon.

It's flat out remarkable how the new press secretary (Jan Psaki) handles her job.  Trump had numerous people (at every position) over the four years and his press moments were only about one thing.....himself.

Regarding the voting situation.  Two thinks to watch for,  How many states try to change their rules and how the courts deal with those changes.

I'm pretty sure that the nation should just let California decide EVERYTHING for the next 40 years.

WE lead in so many areas of importance....with environmental issues being number one.

I can hear the people in Texas screaming but then again what's new?

I'm absolutely amazed that Major League Baseball made a stand and pulled the All-Star game from Atlanta.  They should just move it to LA where it was suppose to be last year but got cancelled due to Covid-19.

Speaking of baseball I hate it when people start predicting how many games the Dodgers will win this year simply because they won last year.  I recall Atlanta was up 3-1 in the playoffs and if M Some goofy guy on r. Snell had stayed in the World Series game we might be talking about how they blew it again.

Some goofy announcer on the Dodger radio channel said they might win 130 games.

Baseball doesn't work like that.

Everybody has improved and the one team they are all gunning for is.........

THE WORLD CHAMPION LOS ANGELES DODGERS

I'll be happy if they make the playoffs

Part Two COSMOS possible worlds

Before I get back to Ann's book I'd like to give you a quick lesson in size.

In the last post I mentioned how fast the earth and our solar system are moving.  Those figures pale in comparison to the number which in my mind represents a size issue that might be hard to grasp.

Our solar system, which at the center has a sun. which is a yellow dwarf star, orbits the center of our Milky Way galaxy once every 260 million years.

260 MILLION YEARS

ONE ROTATION AROUND THE CENTER OF THE MILKY WAY GALAXY

260 MILLION YEARS

Now take a moment and remember that there are 100 BILLION galaxies (so far) and we actually have pictures of the ones that we can see.

There's a new telescope that's getting ready to launch on Halloween of this year.  The James Webb machine will not only see further into space than anything previously built but will increase our estimates of how many galaxies there are in the universe.  The  Webb telescope is 100 times stronger than the Hubble telescope and that machine has given us incredible images.

IMAGES

I bring this 260 number up because I want you to stop and think about the size and distance of what we are apart of.

Now shift your thought over to the 10,000 years (so much less than a drop in the bucket) that the human species has been recording and collecting information.

Calmly compare 10,000 years to the rotation of OUR Sun around the center of OUR Galaxy.

NEXT...consider the strides we've made in science over the last 400 years.

The SUN and our Solar System is traveling 450,000 MPH and in 400 years has gone from here . to . on it's journey to ..............................................................................................here.

And while this is a lesson in size it's also a lesson in common sense.

In the new COSMOS book Ann Druyan reminds us of people AND creatures throughout history who have GOTTEN IT!

BEES have gotten it!

BARUCH SPINOZA GOT IT!

NIKOLAY VAVILOV GOT IT!

NICOLAUS COPERNICUS GOT IT!

CARL SAGAN GOT IT!

ALBERT EINSTEIN GOT IT!

The concept of using common sense to develop theories that explain ACTUAL REALITIES is far more important that developing theories that are 100 percent subjective to a vivid imagination.

The fact that this world is dominated by religious CULTS who all claim to know the will of The Creator NOT ONLY LACKS COMMON SENSE but totally underestimates what A Creator might be doing or thinking.

AND THEN ANOTHER NEO-ILLUMINATION ENTERS THE PICTURE.

Neo-Illumination # 10

                       THE PERSON WHO CLAIMS

                                 TO KNOW GOD'S WILL

                                           SHOULD BE

                                              AVOIDED

And please keep in mind that 7 billion human beings right now are being dominated by some very strong organizations that not only claim to know God's will but believe that divine revelation is strictly limited to their organizations.

*********************

In the Cosmos book Ann points out a new word that is floating around in an attempt to name the new era of human experience.

The HOLOCENE started about 11,500 years ago and now the new term is being referred to as the ANTHROPOCENE.

It's not official but it's gaining steam.

And that brings me back to why I think Cosmos is a very important work.

YOU NEED TO LOOK UP THE PEOPLE AND THE TERMS THAT ANN BRINGS UP IN HER BOOK.

NOT ONLY DO YOU NEED TO READ THE BOOK

BUT YOU NEED TO DO THE RESEARCH.

About 15 years ago I thought the term HOMO-SAPIEN  was outdated in referring to what human beings are NOW.

I most likely don't get to name the next stage of human evolution but I thought

HUMA-ANGELICUS

had a nice ring to it.

Reading COSMOS  Possible Worlds by Ann Druyan

will hopefully open your mind and your heart to realities that actually exist and more importantly to ideas that will dominate our future.

COSMOS part one

, I just finished reading COSMOS (Possible Worlds) by Ann Druyan.

If you are, or were, a fan of Carl Sagan then you probably know who Ann Druyan is...…if not then you need to learn about her and read this  book.

She has a very impressive resume of her own and the synergy that resulted from her and Carl's love for each other is legendary.

She has impeccably carried the Sagan torch on in new and exciting ways.  She has brought the human experience into the Cosmos story line and deconstructed history with stories that matter and explain how we've gotten to this point in our journey.

And trust me when I use the word journey.  Keep in mind that the Earth is moving at 67,000 MPH and the Sun is moving at 448,000 MPH and LAST BUT SURLY NOT LEAST...…

…The MILKY WAY GALAXY is moving at 1.3 MILLION MPH.

Where this journey leads is on a direct rendezvous with the Andromeda Galaxy and in about 4.5 Billion years that rendezvous will result in a joining of two spiral galaxies. Which also means that two massive Black Holes will engage each other and the sound will most likely be quite LARGE.

So simply put, we are on a schedule of extinction UNLESS we figure out how to travel and relocate.

Note the time period involved and the scientific advancements made by the human species in 10,000 years....and more importantly, in the last 100 years.

I believe WE will figure it out, as does Ann.

***********

Opportunity to insert NEO-ILLUMINATION # 17

The Universe has a system of order and chaos

The Human experience is a tangent of that system that both establishes order and creates chaos

Belief systems directly lead to chaos

Acceptance with investigation and introspection create more order

The mysteries of the Universe will always outnumber the known realities

                     Our Job simply might be......

                                      .......to avoid extinction

Shadow Network By Anne Nelson

I started reading The Shadow Network back in the early part of December and I am almost finished.  The book is only 267 pages BUT the footnotes are 105 pages.  Her research on this book is not only extensive but thorough in ways I haven't seen since college textbooks.

As I started reading I posted on Facebook that if you wanted to understand how WE had gotten to the place WE currently are in politics, then one should read this book. Now that I'm almost done I'm simply amazed at the choices the American public has made since 2016....but I now fully realize how certain groups have influenced the process and how their road led to success in 2016. Everyone knows about the Koch Brothers organization but nobody ever mentions......

THE COUNCIL FOR NATIONAL POLICY

Side bar

I just read this morning that in 2014 NPR did a poll and 1 out of 4 Americans thought the Sun revolved around the Earth.

So in 7 years do you think that the IQ of a quarter of the population have suddenly become super aware?

1 out of 4 in 2014???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Consider this for a few minutes and then ask yourself why it would be weird for a reality game show host to get elected President of the United States. It makes sense.

NOT ONLY NOT WEIRD BUT PRETTY MUCH PAR FOR THE COURSE.

In the book Shadow Network the main group being researched is The Council for National Policy known as CPN

Apparently the beginning of this group started when Barry Goldwater got his butt kicked in 1964 by LBJ.

The main thing I want to say without spoiling the book is that ORGANIZED RELIGION has created ORGANIZED POLITICAL RELIGION and the last four years in the White House has been a giant nest for wealthy right-wing fundamentalists.  Led by a man who couldn't care less about religion and who simply did what he was told to do and select people he was told to select, and not only fill his cabinet with their people but also appoint approximately 105 Federal Judgeships across America.

The fact that Donald J. Trump got to appoint 3 Supreme Court Judges was the ENTIRE POINT OF ORGANIZED EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS putting all of their support behind him.

On June 21 2016 an invitational gathering took place at the Marriot Marquis in New York.  It was called ' A conversation with Donald Trump and Ben Carson.' The religious evangelical groups involved, all leaning heavily to the right, literally read like the who's who of conservative politics with deep belief systems based on the new testament.

Excluded from that gathering was anyone with ties to Catholics, Jews, Methodists, Episcopalians and Presbyterians.

TIME TO INTERRJECT NE0-ILLUMINATION # 10

THE PERSON WHO CLAIMS TO KNOW GOD'S WILL

                                                    SHOULD BE AVOIDED

I can promise you that a major portion of the people attending that gathering not only thought they knew God's will but probably thought HE/SHE spoke to them directly....on a regular basis.

1 out of 4 think the Sun revolves around the Earth   (2014) NOT 200 AD

One of organizers of the event George Barna was quoted as calling Trump....basically not a man of God but...… "God's wrecking ball."

That meeting at the Marriot Marquis changed the entire complexity of the election because now The Donald simply spoke about the things that mattered to his new supporters....Abortion, Immigration, stopping same-sex marriages and making appointments to the judicial system....wrapped up in a clever slogan stolen from Ronald Reagan's campaign of 1980.....MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

The book maps the various ways that their word got spread around America (except of course on the coasts where people seem to have minds of their own).  Acquisitions of radio stations and local newspapers, while inserting political information in Sunday gatherings at the community churches WORKED.  The estimate is that the groups who now were supporting Donald Trump for President totaled around 60 million.  Combine that with Hillary just being Hillary and The Donald accusing her of supporting the aborting of a  baby right up to the time of birth....and whamo!!!!!

The players that preceded to partake in the White House over the next four years not only revolved at a record pace  (more appointments and firings and resigning's in four years than any eight year term President) but made decisions that will affect our lives for many many years.  The decisions by the EPA alone will most likely be overturned by President Biden but anything having to do with Climate Change took a four year sabbatical.

Please remember that the groups like The Council for National Policy are groups that are led by people who believe these are the END TIMES.

I'm pretty sure if Trump had gotten four more years they might have been right.

Thank God for small favors.

Yes, The Council for National Policy.

And if you think that CNP put a ton of effort into getting Donald Trump in the White House, "you ain't seen nothing yet."

Two for two

I remember in 2016  writing a piece about how unfair it was that we lost Muhammad Ali and gained Donald Trump.  I think I regarded it as one of the worst trades in history along with the Mike Piazza fiasco.

As I look back on 2020 I realize the Universe might have tried to even the score.  We lost Kobe but we gained Joe while losing that Trump goofball.

Today Joe Biden has been President for 13 days and has executed 750 Executive orders and still needs 35,000 to offset the damage done by that TV game show host.

Of course it's my turn to exaggerate but I hope you get my point.

Environmental issues should be the priority because The Donald was busy right up until he left trying to undermine anything having to do with Clean Air and Clean Water issues.  The EPA standards introduced by previous Presidents from both parties and almost totally destroyed by Trump should start to be noticeable within a few months.

Richard Nixon started the EPA in case you didn't know.

Scott Pruitt and Andrew Wheeler, the last two heads of the EPA under Donald Trump, might turn out to be the worst appointments in the history of President appointments.  And if you think I'm exaggerating I simply ask you to research both of those men and concentrate of what their backgrounds were before being selected to oversee the one position in a cabinet that concentrates on making sure our health and the health of our children's children is a priority.

13 days and we've had 12 press briefings.  I hope you've bothered to take a few minutes and watch one or two of those briefings.  The attitude in the room is relaxed with questions being asked and answers being given that don't seem robotic....

By the way the drugstores in Washington DC lost about 90 percent of their blond hair color business when "President Biff" hit he highway.  Trivia questions...how many blonds worked for Donald J Trump in the last fours years?   Answer......all of them.

Roger Ailes and Donald Trump came from the same cocoon.

I don't want to mention her name but that woman from Georgia who is a QAnon follower and somehow got elected to the House of Representatives needs to be sent to detention.  Maybe a few days with Sister Mary Margaret from the rectory in Atlanta might straighten her out.  She and the Pillow Guy need to find an island north of Greenland and start a family while they wait for spaceship from the Andromeda Galaxy.

Just a reminder to read the book Shadow Network by Anne Nelson.

And one more thing....I realize the Corvid situation is very much a priority and wearing a mask should not be an optional situation

BUT

doesn't everything seem a bit calmer over the last two weeks?

Seriously

Everything seems brighter today.....it's like the world got back on track.

Thank you Joe and Kamala for setting things straight.

Three days to go

I've been using Bill Moyer's interviews and his "investigative reporters" to report on the last few weeks of Donald Trump's Presidency....I wanted to say failed Presidency but he kept his marriage intact so he must have done something right.  I predict a new wife within 5 years.

I'm fairly certain Moyer's stories covered most of the important issues....but they seem to lightly skip over the CONSPIRACY THEORISTS that in truth are causing most of the chaos.

It used to be when crazy ideas were brought up, a few hundred, maybe thousand, people would spread the idea among family and friends and the end result was a small rumor with no traction unless of course it centered on something VERY IMPORTANT as in JFK's assassination.

Today a rumor or a conspiracy theory can be heard and viewed by millions within a single hour.....and often times even faster.  And the weirder the rumor the faster it can spread....because of one simple reason....and it's not the internet.  The simple truth is.....

A LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WANT STRANGE THINGS TO HAPPEN....and the weirder, the better.

And when I say people I mean at least 50 million Americans.....and I can't even guess at the number of people worldwide that are just on the edge of their seats waiting for the next horrible "FACT" to emerge into their awareness bubble.

Ok....I'm going to guess.

Out of 7.6 Billion I'm thinking a conservative number of people who want something strange to happen is

2 BILLION

A person like Alex Jones (he was the idiot that said Sandy Hook massacre of 20 children and 6 adults was a left wing hoax to take away guns) has a large audience and I personally don't want to know the number but it's probably in the low millions. I know I should be aware of the total amount of people who follow him but there is a vital part of my sanity that simply REFUSES TO KNOW THE ACTUAL NUMBER.

AND keep in mind he is only ONE in a very large group of people who make up things in order to get followers who in turn buy his stuff....and the reason he and the other wackos have millions of followers is because......

A LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WANT STRANGE THINGS TO HAPPEN and the weirder the better.

I was listening to Glenn Beck the other day on my way to the golf course and realized that the 3 minutes I experienced listening to him could never be retrieved.  The vocal tone and the implications he pushes are no different that Alex Jones just a softer version, but a version that appeals to a less gullible person....a person who is right of center and does read and watch the news. Glenn Beck is just as dangerous but he does it in a more subtle manner.  Sean Hannity falls in that category....and of course Rush has his own category.

I'M PRETTY SURE ALEX JONES FOLLOWERS ONLY LISTEN AND FOLLOW HIM.

Similar to how people follow and listen to Donald J. Trump, who by the way gets AN ABUNDANCE of information from Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and Alex Jones.

Let's not forget Steve Bannon and how important he is to the Trump program.

And then last but obviously not least are the MEDIA CHANNELS that promote theories because they have an audience which now demands that news is strange and weird.

The Epoch Times

One America Network

Newsmax

FOX (even though the three above now regard Fox as too liberal)

And then according to Wikipedia the following outlets....

FAKE NEWS   (click here)

If you spend some time looking at that list you will be better equipped when someone tells you something that just sounds too strange or weird you can ask.....

"WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT?"

It's amazing how many times I have asked that question over the last 4 years and never seem to get a definitive answer.

It seems that if we are tuned into the nutty sources we might be able to calmly explain that the source is unreliable....

AND THEN

START

SCREAMING

AT THEM

FOR BEING

STUPID

AND

GULLIBLE.

But first calmly ask

"Where did you get that information?"

And 2020 has 13 hours left BUT......

Just because 2020 is almost over please don't get complacent thinking that everything is going to automatically get better with a new year.

IN TRUTH THERE ARE TWO SITUATIONS THAT WILL NOT BE GOING AWAY WHEN 2021 ARRIVES.

1)      Covid

2)      Donald J. Trump

The first one at least has a vaccine, or should I say multiple vaccines, that will eventually diminish the virus.  Hopefully.

The second one appears to have no cure and no foreseeable solutions.

The latest attempt at The Donald overturning an election, which he lost by 7 million votes, is to invalidate Mike Pence as the person who declares the Electoral College vote official on January 6 2021.  There is a lawsuit pending that claims Vice-President Pence can be replaced with another person who can invalidate the Electoral College vote and declare Trump the winner.

I just read that in USA TODAY

The January 6 moment in the two houses states that if anyone person objects they can vote on accepting the Electoral College.

IT HAS TO PASS IN BOTH THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE.

If the Senate chooses to object than every single member who does not accept the November 3 election should be put on notice.  And by put on notice I mean before their next personal election the entire country MUST know their name and know what they did on January 6 2021.

Any member of the House that chooses to object to Electoral College vote should also be put on notice.

THERE IS NO WAY POSSIBLE THAT AN OBJECTION TO THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTE CAN PASS THROUGH THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES....AND THAT IS ONLY BECAUSE DEMOCRATS HAVE THE MAJORITY.

The simple fact is that Donald Trump's following of 72 million people shows that his voice can not be eliminated by a Presidential election.  His potential exposure through media that he either will own or will represent shall not be reduced after January 20 2021.

AND AS OF TODAY, DECEMBER 31 2020, HIS PEOPLE STILL BELIEVE THAT HE WILL CONTINUE TO BE PRESIDENT AFTER JANUARY 20.

I ACTUALLY KNOW A FEW OF THOSE PEOPLE AND THEY ARE SERIOUS.

I keep thinking about 1860 and how the idea of keeping slavery was so powerful for so many that it broke America.

Today I'm feeling that Donald Trump's supporters are so brainwashed that they would also like to see a broken America.

IF REPUBLICANS IN THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE DON'T STAND UP TO WHAT TRUMP IS DOING.....

2021

WILL

MAKE

2020

LOOK CALM AND MELLOW.

So when I say the vaccines can handle one of the two problems and that the second problem has no fix I'm being deadly serious.

Deadly

I think back to Trump in the first debate telling the Proud Boys to "stand by and be ready."

I will not be surprised when he tells them "its time Boys."

Will you be surprised by anything he does?

Not conceding the Election, by December 31 2020, is the absolute proof that Donald J. Trump has crossed the line of mental stability.

and EVERYBODY knows it.

p.s. I used the word everybody because our current President uses it EVERYTIME he speaks.

Happy New Year

Thursday, December 10, 2020

I was going to try and summarize the last four years of Donald J Trump and then I read this article by George Packard. He did it for me and hopefully for you.... It's long, but then again so were the last four years.

020.

To assess the legacy of Donald Trump’s presidency, start by quantifying it. Since last February, more than a quarter of a million Americans have died from COVID-19—a fifth of the world’s deaths from the disease, the highest number of any country. In the three years before the pandemic, 2.3 million Americans lost their health insurance, accounting for up to 10,000 “excess deaths”; millions more lost coverage during the pandemic. The United States’ score on the human-rights organization Freedom House’s annual index dropped from 90 out of 100 under President Barack Obama to 86 under Trump, below that of Greece and Mauritius. Trump withdrew the U.S. from 13 international organizations, agreements, and treaties. The number of refugees admitted into the country annually fell from 85,000 to 12,000. About 400 miles of barrier were built along the southern border. The whereabouts of the parents of 666 children seized at the border by U.S. officials remain unknown.

Trump reversed 80 environmental rules and regulations. He appointed more than 220 judges to the federal bench, including three to the Supreme Court—24 percent female, 4 percent Black, and 100 percent conservative, with more rated “not qualified” by the American Bar Association than under any other president in the past half century. The national debt increased by $7 trillion, or 37 percent. In Trump’s last year, the trade deficit was on track to exceed $600 billion, the largest gap since 2008. Trump signed just one major piece of legislation, the 2017 tax law, which, according to one study, for the first time brought the total tax rate of the wealthiest 400 Americans below that of every other income group. In Trump’s first year as president, he paid $750 in taxes. While he was in office, taxpayers and campaign donors handed over at least $8 million to his family business.

America under Trump became less free, less equal, more divided, more alone, deeper in debt, swampier, dirtier, meaner, sicker, and deader. It also became more delusional. No number from Trump’s years in power will be more lastingly destructive than his 25,000 false or misleading statements. Super-spread by social media and cable news, they contaminated the minds of tens of millions of people. Trump’s lies will linger for years, poisoning the atmosphere like radioactive dust.

Presidents lie routinely, about everything from war to sex to their health. When the lies are consequential enough, they have a corrosive effect on democracy. Lyndon B. Johnson deceived Americans about the Gulf of Tonkin incident and everything else concerning the Vietnam War. Richard Nixon’s lifelong habit of prevaricating gave him the nickname “Tricky Dick.” After Vietnam and Watergate, Americans never fully recovered their trust in government. But these cases of presidential lying came from a time when the purpose was limited and rational: to cover up a scandal, make a disaster disappear, mislead the public in service of a particular goal. In a sense, Americans expected a degree of fabrication from their leaders. After Jimmy Carter, in his 1976 campaign, promised, “I’ll never lie to you,” and then pretty much kept his word, voters sent him back to Georgia. Ronald Reagan’s gauzy fictions were far more popular.

Trump’s lies were different. They belonged to the postmodern era. They were assaults against not this or that fact, but reality itself. They spread beyond public policy to invade private life, clouding the mental faculties of everyone who had to breathe his air, dissolving the very distinction between truth and falsehood. Their purpose was never the conventional desire to conceal something shameful from the public. He was stunningly forthright about things that other presidents would have gone to great lengths to keep secret: his true feelings about Senator John McCain and other war heroes; his eagerness to get rid of disloyal underlings; his desire for law enforcement to protect his friends and hurt his enemies; his effort to extort a foreign leader for dirt on a political adversary; his affection for Kim Jong Un and admiration for Vladimir Putin; his positive view of white nationalists; his hostility toward racial and religious minorities; and his contempt for women.

The most mendacious of Trump’s predecessors would have been careful to limit these thoughts to private recording systems. Trump spoke them openly, not because he couldn’t control his impulses, but intentionally, even systematically, in order to demolish the norms that would otherwise have constrained his power. To his supporters, his shamelessness became a badge of honesty and strength. They grasped the message that they, too, could say whatever they wanted without apology. To his opponents, fighting by the rules—even in as small a way as calling him “President Trump”—seemed like a sucker’s game. So the level of American political language was everywhere dragged down, leaving a gaping shame deficit.

Trump’s barrage of falsehoods—as many as 50 daily in the last fevered months of the 2020 campaign—complemented his unconcealed brutality. Lying was another variety of shamelessness. Just as he said aloud what he was supposed to keep to himself, he lied again and again about matters of settled fact—the more brazen and frequent the lie, the better. Two days after the polls closed, with the returns showing him almost certain to lose, Trump stood at the White House podium and declared himself the winner of an election that his opponent was trying to steal.

This crowning conspiracy theory of Trump’s presidency activated his entitled children, compliant staff, and sycophants in Congress and the media to issue dozens of statements declaring that the election was fraudulent. Following the mechanism of every big lie of the Trump years, the Republican Party establishment fell in line. Within a week of Election Day, false claims of voter fraud in swing states had received almost 5 million mentions in the press and on social media. In one poll, 70 percent of Republican voters concluded that the election hadn’t been free or fair.

So a stab-in-the-back narrative was buried in the minds of millions of Americans, where it burns away, as imperishable as a carbon isotope, consuming whatever is left of their trust in democratic institutions and values. This narrative will widen the gap between Trump believers and their compatriots who might live in the same town, but a different universe. And that was Trump’s purpose—to keep us locked in a mental prison where reality was unknowable so that he could go on wielding power, whether in or out of office, including the power to destroy.

For his opponents, the lies were intended to be profoundly demoralizing. Neither counting them nor checking facts nor debunking conspiracies made any difference. Trump demonstrated again and again that the truth doesn’t matter. In rational people this provoked incredulity, outrage, exhaustion, and finally an impulse to crawl away and abandon the field of politics to the fantasists.

For believers, the consequences were worse. They surrendered the ability to make basic judgments about facts, exiling themselves from the common framework of self-government. They became litter swirling in the wind of any preposterous claim that blew from @realDonaldTrump. Truth was whatever made the world whole again by hurting their enemies—the more far-fetched, the more potent and thrilling. After the election, as charges of voter fraud began to pile up, Matthew Sheffield, a reformed right-wing media activist, tweeted: “Truth for conservative journalists is anything that harms ‘the left.’ It doesn’t even have to be a fact. Trump’s numerous lies about any subject under the sun are thus justified because his deceptions point to a larger truth: that liberals are evil.”

How did half the country—practical, hands-on, self-reliant Americans, still balancing family budgets and following complex repair manuals—slip into such cognitive decline when it came to politics? Blaming ignorance or stupidity would be a mistake. You have to summon an act of will, a certain energy and imagination, to replace truth with the authority of a con man like Trump. Hannah Arendt, in The Origins of Totalitarianism, describes the susceptibility to propaganda of the atomized modern masses, “obsessed by a desire to escape from reality because in their essential homelessness they can no longer bear its accidental, incomprehensible aspects.” They seek refuge in “a man-made pattern of relative consistency” that bears little relation to reality. Though the U.S. is still a democratic republic, not a totalitarian regime, and Trump was an all-American demagogue, not a fascist dictator, his followers abandoned common sense and found their guide to the world in him. Defeat won’t change that.

Trump damaged the rest of us, too. He got as far as he did by appealing to the perennial hostility of popular masses toward elites. In a democracy, who gets to say what is true—the experts or the people? The historian Sophia Rosenfeld, author of Democracy and Truth, traces this conflict back to the Enlightenment, when modern democracy overthrew the authority of kings and priests: “The ideal of the democratic truth process has been threatened repeatedly ever since the late eighteenth century by the efforts of one or the other of these epistemic cohorts, expert or popular, to monopolize it.”

Monopoly of public policy by experts—trade negotiators, government bureaucrats, think tankers, professors, journalists—helped create the populist backlash that empowered Trump. His reign of lies drove educated Americans to place their faith, and even their identity, all the more certainly in experts, who didn’t always deserve it (the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, election pollsters). The war between populists and experts relieved both sides of the democratic imperative to persuade. The standoff turned them into caricatures.

Trump’s legacy includes an extremist Republican Party that tries to hold on to power by flagrantly undemocratic means, and an opposition pushed toward its own version of extremism. He leaves behind a society in which the bonds of trust are degraded, in which his example licenses everyone to cheat on taxes and mock affliction. Many of his policies can be reversed or mitigated. It will be much harder to clear our minds of his lies and restore the shared understanding of reality—the agreement, however inconvenient, that A is A and not B—on which a democracy depends.

But we now have the chance, because two events in Trump’s last year in office broke the spell of his sinister perversion of the truth. The first was the coronavirus. The beginning of the end of Trump’s presidency arrived on March 11, 2020, when he addressed the nation for the first time on the subject of the pandemic and showed himself to be completely out of his depth. The virus was a fact that Trump couldn’t lie into oblivion or forge into a political weapon—it was too personal and frightening, too real. As hundreds of thousands of Americans died, many of them needlessly, and the administration flailed between fantasy, partisan incitement, and criminal negligence, a crucial number of Americans realized that Trump’s lies could get someone they love killed.

The second event came on November 3. For months Trump had tried frantically to destroy Americans’ trust in the election—the essence of the democratic system, the one lever of power that belongs undeniably to the people. His effort consisted of nonstop lies about the fraudulence of mail-in ballots. But the ballots flooded into election offices, and people lined up before dawn on the first day of early voting, and some of them waited 10 hours to vote, and by the end of Election Day, despite the soaring threat of the virus, more than 150 million Americans had cast ballots—the highest turnout rate since at least 1900. The defeated president tried again to soil our faith, by taking away our votes. The election didn’t end his lies—nothing will—or the deeper conflicts that the lies revealed. But we learned that we still want democracy. This, too, is the legacy of Donald Trump.
