Last Quarter of 2023 starts today

 Amazing how many times in my life I've said...."wow, has this year really flown by, or what?"

As one gets older the concept of time both diminishes and increases at the exact same speed.....and since speed is a fundamental concept of what time is, our references get blurred....from time to time.

The 2024 Presidential election has kicked off with the GOP conducting a debate and the front runner of their splintered party having his own campaign away from the "crowd."

One of the methods that the GOP uses is the statement that FOX News uses all the time.   "The American people don't want Trump or Biden."\

THAT STATEMENT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY TRY TO CONVINCE YOU OF THAT FACT....IT WILL NEVER BE TRUE.

THE TRUMP FOLLOWERS WANT TRUMP

THE BIDEN FOLLOWERS ARE NOT DESERTING JOE.

THE REALITY CHECK IS SIMPLY THIS

MOST PEOPLE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

180 MILLION PEOPLE WILL NOT VOTE IN THE NEXT ELECTION

200 MILLION PEOPLE WATCHED THE LAST SUPER BOWL

AND THUS I AM ABLE TO ANNOUNCE THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE EXCITED ABOUT THE OPENING OF THE 2023-2024 NFL.

Which starts tomorrow with Kansas City and Detroit.

College football season has been up and running for two weeks and the regular part of the Baseball season is entering its last month before the Post season begins.

FOR THOSE OF US IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA.

The Dodgers have run away with the division (again)and now just try to stay healthy for the Post season.

The Angels can't catch a break

The Trojans have played two weak teams but have scored 122 points.

The Bruins are still trying to find the QB

The Rams are rebuilding.

The Chargers are Super Bowl contenders.

The US Open tennis is in full swing.

The Ryder Cup starts on the 28 of September

Hopefully you are a sports fan which allows you to be pleased or bummed at the actual time of the event....which happens in real time.....all the time.

And knowing that time is an illusion but speed is not......start watching human beings that excel at physical endeavors.

By the way DISNEY is making the watching part a bit harder with their monetary demands.

Currently I have no ABC or ESPN or USA Network on my cable program.

Seems to be a bevy of Strikes and Shutdowns by various people.

Pretty sure all of these issues are a result of the Covid issue.

COMPANIES AND INDIVIDUALS TRYING TO RECOUP WHAT WAS LOST DURING THE PANDEMIC.

One thing to keep in mind.....Covid has NOT gone away.
