Radical Islam and why the term should be used by President Obama

I voted for Barack Obama and I think he has been the perfect person to follow the eight years of a George Bush/Dick Cheney administration.  His intelligence and oratory ability makes the previous President seem like a little spoiled kid...of which he probably was.

Having made that point clear I wish to establish that I'm not in total agreement with everything he says.

The concept of a democracy is that each and everyone of us reach conclusions for governmental behavior based on how much we learn, and then we choose people to represent us in various governmental positions.

One, and there have been far too many to note, of the major complaints that Obama's opposition have been stating for awhile is.....HE REFUSES TO USE THE TERM "RADICAL ISLAM" when talking about any terrorists attack anywhere in the world....and because they are front and center in most current attacks he doesn't want the Islamic State to hear the President of The United States say those two words together while referring to their acts of terror.

HE DOES CALL THEIR ACTIONS "ACTS OF TERROR AND ACTS OF HATE"....but will not use the term Radical with Islam.

He claims he doesn't want to give the various terrorists groups what they want....and that what they want is for their specific group to be linked with the entire Islamic faith....of which there are 1.4 billion followers. I intellectually understand his reasoning until I try to explain it to someone else and then I stumble and pause because the logic of his reasoning does not hold water in my mental cauldron.....

I WOULD THINK THE NON-RADICAL ISLAMIC FOLLOWERS, OF WHICH I HOPE ARE 95 PERCENT OF THE RELIGION, WOULD LIKE AND PREFER THE SEPARATION MADE CLEAR.  

CLARITY IS ACHIEVED BY UNDERSTANDING AND UNDERSTANDING IS ACHIEVED BY VERBAL EXPLANATIONS OF BEHAVIOR.   

PHYSICAL ACTIONS ARE THE RESULT OF FIRST LEARNING AND THEN THINKING AND THEN RESPONDING.

RADICAL BEHAVIOR, BASED ON A RELIGIOUS BELIEF, IS GENERATED BY SOMETHING WRITTEN DOWN ON EITHER PAPER OR STONE AND CONDENSED INTO AN ENTITY, GENERALLY REFERRED TO AS A .....BOOK.

(in the last 50 years that has changed dramatically but we can agree that most problems being created by religious belief systems pre-date the invention of the computer)

THE FACT THAT DIFFERENT INTERPRETATIONS EXIST FROM THINGS WRITTEN DOWN CREATES A UNIQUE DYNAMIC THAT MUST BE ADDRESSED.

HUMAN BEINGS ARE THE ONLY CREATURES ON THIS PLANET THAT HAVE THE ABILITY TO COMBINE LETTERS TOGETHER IN ORDER TO WRITE SOMETHING DOWN.

HUMAN BEINGS ARE INCREDIBLY FALLIBLE AND MISTAKE PRONE SO THEREFORE
HUMAN BEINGS INSIST THAT RELIGIOUS DOCTRINE COMES FROM AN INFALLIBLE SOURCE.

THAT SOURCE 
is so far beyond our conception and our interpretation that it's quite funny.....especially if you simply pause for a second and think how a Universe gets created.

STAY RIGHT THERE ON THAT POINT FOR ANOTHER SECOND OR TWO.......

HOW A UNIVERSE GETS CREATED.

now take a breath and realize that all religious doctrine is advising human beings how to interact with other human beings WITH THE ULTIMATE GOAL BEING 
AN IMMORTAL EXISTENCE
IN A NON-PHYSICAL REALITY STATE
AFTER
ENDING THE PHYSICAL REALITY

or something entirely different than what is being experienced on the physical level

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

NOR
DO
YOU

AND WHEN A GROUP CREATES ACTS OF BARBARIC BEHAVIOR AND THEN CLAIMS IT IS
ALLAH'S WILL
BECAUSE 
IT SAYS SO 
IN A BOOK

SOMEONE NEEDS A HUGE TIME OUT.

Unless I missed something along the road to reason....isn't the one thing that Islam, Christianity and Judaism have in common is the simple fact that there is ONE GOD.

ONE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE

If there are rival Creators then indeed we have a problem....especially if they decide to participate in a confrontational behavior at the same time.

THAT WOULD BE REFERRED TO AS 
RADICAL CREATORISM

But Barack won't say that because he doesn't want God to think we are lumping radical with Creator.

I'm stretching here but you get my point......I think our President is trying to hard not to offend the Islamic faith and the reality is simply that the radical groups of the Islamic faith are currently causing more problems than any other faith based religion.

By the way....Hillary used the tern Radical Islam about 15 times the other day so we aren't going to have to worry about the next President protecting Islam...if that is what he is doing.....I'm still not quite sure because he's leading a collation that has dropped over 15,000 bombs on ISIS in the last 12 months.
Odd way of protecting don't you think?

And one last thought....I sincerely hope the Creator of the Universe isn't watching our juvenile behavior
very closely......knowing that humans are a very young species....and being extremely busy creating more and more galaxies and souls....it's probably a million or so years before looking back and checking us out.

I hope by then SHE likes what she sees.........

Now that's radical!
