Debt was created by both parties and must be solved the same way

Last night at a party I had a short conversation with a beautiful young woman who has taken on the National Debt as her primary focus in life.  While it was a very short chat I could see and hear how vitally important the subject was for her.  I wish I could tell you the name of her newly formed organization but I was distracted by her looks and since shallow can often be my occasional mindpartner  I confess to not listening to the actual details but I can quite easily describe her looks.

Fact: this young woman has started a PAC in order to bring the National Debt to the forefront of the election process.

First and foremost, as the charts below will verify, the isssue of our National Debt is an issue that demands BI-PARITSAN attention.  Both primary parties have created the numbers and both parties have chosen to adhere to personal agenda's while completely ignoring the thought process that leads to somehow addressing the BIG PICTURE.

Bess, the youngest PAC creator that I've ever even heard about, asked me if I knew what the National Debt was and I answered $175 Trillion.....WHICH IS SO WEIRD BECAUSE I ACTUALLY PRIDE MYSELF ON KNOWING IMPORTANT FACTS AND FIGURES AND IN TRUTH I KNEW IT WAS $17 TRILLION AND YET BLURTING OUT SUCH AN OBSCENE FIGURE JUST HAPPENED BECAUSE I WAS SLIGHTY ON THE high side of consciousness.

So that you understand the need for a bi-partisan solution you simply need to look at the following two charts.

As with every artist......there is no apologizing when it comes to inspiration formation........
the same rule must apply to a political mind that seeks solutions to our socioeconomic conundrums.

THE NATIONAL DEBT
is
one of those issues
such
as
GLOBAL WARMING
and
NUCLEAR WASTE CLEANUP
and of course
TEXTING IN THE PRESCENCE OF SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH THE PERSON TEXTING WITHOUT THE SLIGHTEST REGARD FOR THE PERSON
STANDING THERE
IN REAL TIME PAUSE
HELL
that will really be a problem for our children's children.

I mentioned to Bess that compromise and forgiveness are fundamental to the central path of problem solving

 Compromise
and
Forgiveness

When one truly thinks about how a problem can be solved while confronting a single person who seems to be causing the said problem, then at some point if compromise and foregiveness are NOT inserted into the equation then most likely a solution will not be formulated and still more likely a large deep canyon will be constructed that results in time simply passing and said situation then becomes a GIANT ALBATROSS hanging on the very edge of the relationship.  That relationship will often times dissolve into courteous greetings or even worst......NO GREETINGS.

Our three governmental bodies have allowed major issues to be exsaperated and people don't usually consider The Supreme Court to be part of the problem but when one considers that the true benefit of becoming President of The United States is the opportunity to  select ONE Supreme Court Justice or God willing TWO Justices during their elected term.

The Supreme Court seems to be above reproach but they seem to have the final say when it comes to establishing laws.

It should be against the law to allow the National Debt to strangle the lifestyle of our children's children

It should be against the law to continue creating new Nuclear Waste without the slighest idea on how to clean up the existing problems

It should be against the law to ignore the possiblity that Climate Change might be caused by human beings trying to achieve positive bottom lines for shareholders.

I understand that the Supreme Court can only review the cases that are presented to them but I've always thought that since they are one of the three branches of the goernemnt which determines how we live our lives....then perhaps they should start requesting more from the
elected officals regarding the creation of laws.  They are suppossedly the best and the brightest of the three branches.  Since they never seem to be reprimanded by ANYONE then maybe they could expand their role.

Didn't mean to wander off subject but when it comes to compromise and foregiveness it is very important to understand that the LAWS OF THE LAND might also need to involve some alterations.

WHEN CONSTITUTIONALISTS START SCREAMING ABOUT CONSTITUTIONAL  ISSUES BEING COMPROMISED  I ALWAYS CRINGE.    THE CREATORS OF OUR CONSTITUTION REALLY HAD NO IDEA HOW THE WORLD WOULD LOOK TODAY AND NO MATTER HOW ONE BUILDS A HOUSE FOR ONE FAMILY THERE IS NO SOLUTION WHEN 50 FAMILIES MOVE INTO THE HOUSE EXCEPT FOR TOTAL CHAOS.

The numbers game of the National Debt becomes too convoluted that for solutions to be implemented............ EVERYTHING needs to be included in the political algorithm.

EVERYTHING means everything when we talk about spending

And I can assure you that addressing insane government pensions might be the toughest nut to crack.
Both parties always jabber about Social Programs and Military because that diverts the issue from things that they created for themselves and their fellow goverment employees.

AND IT ALSO MEANS REVENUE GENERATING

As you can see the issue is extremely complex and breaking it all down into viable and reasonable solutions is quite a task.

(And just why isn't there a weekly national lottery?  Every week the money could go to a different program.)

THE ONLY THING ONE CAN DO IS BRING AWARENESS TO THE ISSUE
And for that I salute the young PAC creator (and once I learn the name I will pass it along)

How the FIXABLE SOLUTIONS get actually fixed cannot be done until  a reasonable amount of the general population becomes aware of the situation.

When I think about a nation where 45% of the eligible voters turn DON'T TURNOUT for a Presidential election I assume that making people aware of anything as abstract as the National Debt will be quite a chore.

But Bess the PAC maker, is really attractive and being the shallow thinker I am.....I believe that young beautiful women will absolutely have the best chance of getting the tale told.

PEOPLE HAVE A TENDENCY TO STOP AND LISTEN TO A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN
and that's not my rule
but
it's
a
truth.

I personally care more about Climate Chnage and Nuclear related problems but I'm just a guy who sees those things as being species killers so it ranks a bit higher than our economic quagmires. Quagmires that we seem to always either solve, or at the very least juggle to the next group of elected officials.

CLIMATE CHANGE
and
NUCLEAR POLLUTION PROBLEMS
can really give $ problems a back seat
on the road
to
wherever this great country is
traveling

We are a young country traveling toward a certain concept of trying to achieve a level of happiness and financial stability for the most amount of people possible.

Aren't we?

Addressing the National Debt is one of those issues...addressing with responsible attention given to the health
of
the
Collective American Soul must be part of the framework.

And the Collective American Soul seems like a good subject for the next Mind Jazz post.
