Bill and the best of us

http://environment.yale.edu/climate/

I've hinted at this in the past but now I'm making it an official position

BILL MOYERS IS THE BEST INTERVIEWER ON TELEVISION.
and quite possibly the most important.

I can't really think of a close second......Maybe Charlie Rose but he sometimes talks more than his guests.

BILL'S WEEKLY INTERVIEWS SHOULD BE REQUIRED VIEWING BY EVERY MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL
IN
AMERICA
EVERY MONDAY MORNING......right after the Pledge of Allegiance (they still say it, don't they?)
(actually a global broadcast would make more sense but that's probably asking too much)

APPLE, CNN, SONY, BBC and NBC could make it happen if they wanted.
Mr. Moyers latest show, with Anthony Leiserowitz, might be one of the most important. I highly suggest clicking on the above and below links and watching the interview.  And then after you are finished...watch it again....and then maybe watch it one more time.

Focus on the parts regarding fossil fuel companies and how they have played us.

CLIMATE CHANGE
IS
THE
TOPIC
and Mr. Leiserowitz and the Yale Project on Climate Change Communication
is
MANDATORY
LISTENING AND READING
FOR
EVERYONE!
and especially those of you who have beautiful new children or grand children....or those of you who are thinking about adding to your family or starting a family.

In the past the Liberal plea on environmental social awareness sounded like this.

"We are worried about our grandchildren's children ."

But now it's more like we need to be worried about our children's children and if action isn't taken soon (like now) then the next thing we'll be saying is, "we are worried about our children."

And then suddenly we will look up and wonder how this happened to US.....
.....NOW!

The fact that 40 percent of the world's population hasn't even heard of Climate Change is certainly a scary issue.....but that figure can be reduced very quickly with the right voices making noise.

Forwarding information to the masses should not be a problem...but those people, companies and organizations that don't want the status quo to change have a lot of power.

I'm really starting to feel that a 1968 or 1969 or 1970 or 1971 or 1972 protest movement might be forming.  It doesn't have to be violent it just needs to be LOUD.  It doesn't need to be unruly, it just needs to be ORGANIZED. The INTERNET and SOCIAL MEDIA should be able to handle that task.

I'm feeling quite confident that Mr. Leiserowitz is working in the perfect direction and I'm sure he would love to hear from you.

His address is on his web site

Once again, thank you Bill Moyers for bringing us up to date.

And now my advice to YOU is.....

CALL SOMEONE and tell them to watch the interview on
