The Art of Visualization

Yesterday I wrote about a Bagger Vance moment I had on the golf course but obviously there's a much more important aspect to that story than hitting a tiny white ball.

When the concept of visualization enters into a conversation it is usually being expounded on by someone who has achieved a high level of success in their chosen field.

We don't hear too much from the non-successful person about the fact that their visualizations just simply didn't work.

You know there are people who have simply failed miserably at certain endeavors because they were lacking in talent. Watching some of those freaky auditions on American Idol you realize that having positive thoughts about your own talent, sometimes isn't nearly enough.

I realize misplaced ego has a role but that's another story.

Is there really an ART to the act of visualization? Is there a technique that needs to be explained properly and in minute detail?

Does meditation have a significant role in being able to visualize? I doubt very much if Jack Nicklaus practiced meditation while doing yoga exercises. It's widely known that he claims to have visualized every shot before executing it.

Again, a high achiever talking about visualization.

No conversations from the poor golfer who never won a tournament and lost his playing card and visualized every shot he ever made.

We need to hear from the losers and the from the people who visualize and don't succeed.

It's like the power of Positive Thinking. When a SELF-HELP guru tells you that it's all about mental attitude and anything can be achieved if you direct your positive energy in the right direction.....once again we are hearing from a successful practitioner of the process.

IS THERE A CERTAIN DIRECTION THAT IS BEING OVERLOOKED BY THE FAILURES?

Does everybody who can't achieve success in their chosen endeavor....not think positive about what they want?

There's a certain point where I have to question the reality of HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ACHIEVE SUCCESS by the art of visualization and the power of positive thinking.

It's really easy to talk about that stuff if you are on top of your game.....whatever your game might be.

I'll interject here with the obvious.........the amount of hard work put into a goal most likely determines the outcome. And of course eliminating costly mistakes while doing the hard work is also very important.

The elusive element of luck comes into play somewhere along the road to success....but since luck is a lot like faith.....you either have it or you don't......it's hard to determine the role it plays in one achieving success.

I believe success is the ability to be able to do what you love to do......
.....and then, hopefully, other people recognize what you do and appreciate the effort that is put forth.

Most likely you need to receive financial remuneration for your efforts in order to continue the process.

Unless of course you meet someone who has a ton of scratch and they think you should just not have to worry about such mundane things.

I think it's important to let people know what you would like to achieve. For instance, if you play music or make videos.....or do both......you should have a specific plan written down and decide what level you would like to participate in, and then tell the people you love.... about your goals.

The art of visualization and the power of positive thinking are areas that create complex questions and answers.....and it just seems that the people who really talk about them are enjoying the higher levels of success.

I've decided to break that tradition and am here to announce that it can happen at any one moment to anyone person....but repeated abilities to experience success with the art of visualization must be centered in the act of reincarnation.

There's no other explanation.

Tiger Woods, in his previous lifetime, was a Ethiopian child who died of starvation before his 3rd birthday in the early part of the 20th Century.

George W. Bush, in his previous lifetime, was an idiot....some things never change.

George Washington, in his previous lifetime, had down-syndrome and was left out in the rain by his evil grandparents during the winter of 1472....somewhere along the borders of Mongolia.

Bill Gates, in his previous lifetimes, was forced to shallow five gold coins as a six year old boy, by drunken cowboys at a bar in Dodge City in 1872.

REINCARNATION EXPLAINS EVERYTHING WHEN IT COMES TO HIGH LEVELS OF SUCCESS.

NOW REGARDING ME.....

I'm pretty sure that I was involved in the destruction of a town or city in the days when plundering and chaos ruled the land.....and my specific job was to destroy the art of that culture. I burned paintings and smashed sculptures and destroyed books in order to eliminate any historical importance of those people living in that town or city.

I was an ART and LITERATURE DESTROYER.......

AND I'M PRETTY SURE I DID A DAMN GOOD JOB..........and I'm also fairly certain that I've almost paid the price.

I think I might be on the verge of breaking through to the other side and that things are about to change.

Of course that could all be due to the fact that I practice the art of visualization and positive thinking.........

I've been doing both for a very long time.

But I might have been using the wrong technique......

Do you have a technique that is fool proof? Do you have Jack Nicklaus's cell phone number?

Maybe the time frame is the trick..........not everybody gets the reward in the beginning.......or half-way.....or three quarters or ???????????

Quantum reality has particles of unreality
that sometimes make everything
seem
odd.

Do you agree?
