ALL OF THESE COMPANIES ATTEND TRADE SHOWS.....to SELL their wares...and perhaps buy from time to time
TRADE SHOWS OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION
I've written about these trade shows a few times in the last year but I didn't mention the major corporations involved.
With a Business Card and enough CASH anyone can attend a trade show and place orders. The question remains on how many of those orders get filled.
Many COUNTRIES probably get extended terms.
IF THE RESEARCH WAS EXTENSIVE I AM SURE WE (MOST PEOPLE NOT INVOLVED IN ARMS DEALING) WOULD BE SHOCKED AT MANY OF THE PURCHASE ORDERS.
I HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD SITUATION FROM 1960
Forget music, sports, movies, technology, medical advances and any other situation that has vastly improved over the last 50 years.
THE REASON WE FEEL UNEASY AND TENSE IS BECAUSE OF THE PROLIFERATION OF WEAPONS AND BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT ANYONE WITH MONEY CAN HAVE ADVANCED TOOLS OF DESTRUCTION
AND SOMETIMES JUST HAVING SHAKEY CREDIT WITH OIL RESERVES CAN GET YOU SOME PRETTY NASTY ITEMS
I wonder if the Drug Cartels attend the trade shows?
I honestly don't see how the weapons genie can be put back into the bottle.
THE UNITED STATES appears to be the largest arms supplier in the world.
BUT
that might not be true.
I WOULD BE EXTREMELY SURPRISED IF RUSSIA AND CHINA KEPT EXACT RECORDS OF THEIR ARMS SALES AND DIVULGED THAT INFORMATION TO THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY.
60 Minutes should be attending some of these trade shows.
Noting that GE is on the above list means we won't have any reports complied by NBC
I wonder if Las Vegas has ever held one of these shows?
The real interesting question is......WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU HEARD A POLITICIAN TALK ABOUT THE ABUNDANCE OF WEAPONS being distributed around the world?
