Since Sunday the political atmosphere has been buzzing. I feel the buzz here in my apartment in Santa Monica...I can't even imagine how strong that buzz must be in Washington D.C.
THE BUZZ MIGHT BE A NATIONAL BUZZ
AND THERE'S A GOOD CHANCE IT MIGHT EVEN BE A GLOBAL BUZZ
A BUZZ is a vibratory wave length that emulates from a power source and extends unspecified distances to receptacles...depending on sensitivity and interest.
IF YOU DON'T FEEL THE BUZZ THEN YOU ARE PROBABLY ONE PISSED OFF REPUBLICAN WHO IS JUST WAITING FOR THE PRESENT ADMINISTRATION TO STUB A TOE OR BETTER YET...FALL FLAT ON IT'S FACE
Keep in mind that Democrats did not start tearing George a new ahole until he started demonstrating his inabilities to handle the heat inside the White House kitchen.
JUST BECAUSE THOSE INABILITIES KEPT GROWING AND GROWING IS REALLY NOT OUR FAULT.
THINK ABOUT THAT AS YOU FOCUS ON THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION
ONE THING THAT IS QUITE EVIDENT WITH THE NEW ADMINISTRATION
THEY HAVE PEOPLE WHO CAN
SING
DANCE
READ
MEMORIZE and just flat out
ENTERTAIN
The party on Sunday at the Lincoln Memorial was one of the best "ENTERTAINMENT" shows I have ever seen. When it comes to buzzing...that show had bee pollen dripping down every inch of the Lincoln Memorial. I think I saw Abe tapping his toes....but of course that's what happens when you experience the BUZZ.
I've watched the show three times and I'm still not sure what my favorite moment was.
I'm a huge Mellencamp fan
I'm a huge Springsteen fan
I'm a huge James Taylor fan
I'm a huge American Bald Eagle fan
AND I'M NOT THAT BIG OF A U2 FAN BUT I THINK BONO WINS TOP HONORS
even though GARTH BROOKS was probably the most entertaining.
BONO WAS THE ONLY PERSON TO MAKE A STATEMENT....and to think an Irish band was invited to a "domestic" party makes it that much cooler. BONO is in a class of ONE and for that I salute him.
HIS GLOBAL WORK IS ONE FOR THE AGES
JOSH GROBIN might have the strongest voice I've ever heard.
Beyonce closed the show and sang America The Beautiful as well as it's ever been sung.
The biggest surprise was JON BON JOVI. He sang with BETTE LAVETTE and
they were amazing. BETTE needs to be making more appearances on a national basis.....MORE NATIONAL ANTHEMS, MORE HALFTIME SHOWS, MORE ED SULLIVAN SHOWS, MORE DAVID LETTERMAN SHOWS...ETC...ETC...ETC.
AND THEN THE BUZZ MOVED TO TUESDAY
AND
WE
GOT
STUNG
I have watched President Obama's acceptance speech twice and read it again this morning in the LA TIMES.
After the first time (the real moment) I was a bit concerned because it lacked something that I was wanting. Then I realized while watching it the second time that what I was wanting was more entertainment than substance.
He did not leave lines dangling for applause.
That threw me off at first. Then watching the second time I fully got the point of his speech.
HE BASICALLY WASN'T F..KING AROUND
HE WAS LETTING US KNOW THAT THINGS WERE GOING TO HAVE TO CHANGE FOR SUCCESS TO BE AN OPTION
HE GAVE A SPEECH TO THE WORLD NOT JUST AMERICANS....and he let everyone know that he wasn't going to be making little jokes at the expense of issues, ideals and morality.
I highly suggest that you read it and perhaps watch it one more time.
IT WAS A BRILLIANT SPEECH....and one that might not have any catch phrases to rival Kennedy and Roosevelt, but it had SUBSTANCE and it most definitely added to the BUZZ of the beginning
of
BARACK OBAMA'S
TERM IN OFFICE
AND BY THE WAY....How appropriate that President Obama is the 44th President?
44 is such a huge number in the world of African American success.
JUST ANOTHER LITTLE THING
TO
MAKE
EVERYTHING
BUZZ
BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZING
BIG TIME!
