Barry starting a new job

Obviously the people around you are extremely important when starting a new job. The office of President of the United States offers certain challenges not faced on a regular basis but because of West Wing I think I know how it works.

Martin Sheen knew excatly who to hire because he had access to SAG members and of course we know how smart some of those actor's can be...

By appointing Rahm Emanuel as Chief of Staff...Barry has given himself access to Ari Emanuel (Rahm's brother) so perhaps the elite Hollywood connections can be achieved.

Ari probably handles Brad, Angelina, Ben, Leo and Sarah Silverman so that's a good start to the cabinet.

Stop and think about Sarah Silverman as Secretary of State.

Apparently Rahm and Sarah have similarities concerning their choice of colorful words from time to time....or from sentence to sentence.

If the FCC could get out of the way and not monitor what is said on the airwaves we could be in for one of the most entertaining Chief of Staff's in the history of American politics.

A quote from Hillary about Rahm..."Just because you put the word Mother in front of a word doesn't make that word acceptable."

The Transition Economic Advisory Board has 17 members and while I fully understand who some of the "players" are and why they were named...I'm a bit perplexed by one of the names on the list.

I get the fact that he is a Democratic Mayor for one of the largest cities in America...but I was unaware that he had economic expertise.

Perhaps there's a plan to sell certain assets to Los Angeles.....like GM

The CEO of Google is on the list and then there is Warren Buffett who in reality should just buy the whole package and then lease it back to the government.

I know Warren and Bill Gates are friends so Warren should be able to convince Bill to get involved. He's actually retired now... so it's not like he doesn't have the time.

Now that's two guys that Ari Emanuel would love to represent.

For all I know he already might be their agents for their theatrical "stuff."

Back to appointments...there must be a place for Bono in this administration...because we already know The Boss is Barry's musical bro and will probably be playing at the big party on January 20, 2009......so Bono could become Ambassador to Africa...(the continent)

Can someone not born here be an ambassador?
Oh yeah....since Barry was born in Kenya...anything is possible.

I would like to see Hillary as Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare.

I would like to see Colin Powell as Secretary of Defense

I would like to see Al Gore as Secretary of Interior...or Energy

I would like to see Barry Obama back on David Letterman

I would like to see USC beat California

I have so many requests and so little influence....but I am a Ram fan so having someone in charge named Rahm is pretty close to perfection. And having someone in charge that swears like a motherf..ker is really cool.

I don't imagine that Barry swears very often so it will be fun to listen to the secret tapes in the Oval office during the next 4 or 8 years.

I look forward to those tapes being released around.....2050....at which time I will only be 104

Just another thing to look forward to.

How fun is it to start a new job?
Like having a new girlfriend or getting a new puppy.
Or learning that Fox News has declared bankruptcy.

I'm excited by the possibilities...and can't wait to see who is drafted
on the real dream team.
