The Horror is gone

This morning in the LA TIMES there is a front page article regarding the HORROR movie genre and the recent failures.

I don't want to get to excited but it's great to think that maybe....just perhaps....people have figured out that images which are ingrained in the subconscious are forever ingrained....so when one attends the latest gore experience on the silver screen, that is presented as a 60 foot image, it's an image that not only is permanent......but it's the freakin size of Detroit.

And something visually horrible, that sits in your mind and is the size of Detroit......IS A PROBLEM.

The world seems to be offering enough visual images that don't resemble pleasure moments....that one doesn't really need to pursue extra doses.

Now hopefully younger people will figure it out soon and violent video games will silently slip away....but that's probably not going to happen because the visuals are computer generated and it's hard to convince people that computer generated images are ingrained in one's subconscious.

Only someone who plays video games can tell us. Do they dream in SGI format?
And if the answer is yes then we really have a problem....because the addiction to dreaming in SGI might be an addiction that can never be reversed.......and in fact I might want to learn how to do it.
But do they have blow the living crap out of everything.....all the time?

And back to the movie thing......Tarintino should take note. Rodriguez should take note....and all those film makers who just want to affect people's sleep.....should take note.

IMAGES NEVER LEAVE THE GRAVITATION PULL OF THE EARTH AND IF YOU ARE RESIDING ON THIS PLANET...THEN IMAGES ARE ALWAYS PRESENT......AND IMAGES THAT HAVE EXISTED SINCE THE BEGINNING.

THE INFORMATION IS FOREVER THEORY has some very important proponents and although they might lean in the direction of new age philosophical viewpoints...they are generally extremely well educated and academic types.......

HAS ANYONE EVER ASKED A ASTRONAUT ABOUT DREAMS WHILE ORBITING THE EARTH....OR CHECKED WITH THE RUSSIANS LIVING ON THE SPACE STATION....which by the way has to be one of the happiest groups of people alive today.
THEIR LAST VISITOR AND SUPPLIER WAS SUPPOSE TO ARRIVE IN FEBRUARY BUT SOME BAD TILES GOT IN THE WAY, AND THE SPACE SHUTTLE DIDN'T LAUNCH UNTIL YESTERDAY. I had heard rumors that they were running short on toilet paper....so I'm sure they are really jazzed.

And there's a part of me that feels I just did the same thing as Tarintino and Rodriguez. I put an image into your head that didn't need to be there....but at least the Astronauts weren't blow to smithereens by some giant flying space anemone.

We can't control everything we see on a daily basis nor ignore every negative input that enters into our mind....but we can pick and choose the extra moments that are our moments.....the time to sit and read a great book versus a silly book....the time to watch a great movie versus a
exploitation film....the time to not watch or read anything and just sit on the grass or walk on the beach or whatever tool you choose to use as your weapon....when trying to deal with the rigors of human existence on our planet.

I've said it before and I'll say it again....

and it might help to ignore the visual images that really don't have any place in your sub-conscious.....and for sure do not belong in anybodies dreams.

AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT THOSE IMAGES ARE....and it appears that the movie going public has said.....

ENOUGH is ENOUGH

now, I'm not sure they are demanding the remake of the Sound of Music but how cool would that be?

Oh and by the way....I have that script ready to go.
It's called
"FACE....the anomaly"

and it could be made for
under 65 million
give or take 15 million depending on who directs.

or even Monday could be arranged......Tuesday's bad .....but Wednesday works.

HOW WEIRD IS THE WORLD OF SHOW BUSINESS?

Do we really care that Paris Hilton gets released early? Does it really bother people? She didn't run anybody over. Why can't they just make her pick up some trash on the 405? Or even better yet make her spend some money on social issues that help the less unfortunate. She can even pick the poison.

As much as you might hate to hear it.....Paris Hilton is American Royalty.......of which we don't encourage but which we do constantly reward....with our interest.
Her family is one of the great American success stories and she is just adding some different elements to the story.

Let her go home.

Aren't there enough things to occupy the courts and the legal system? Is there a short agenda on the schedule?

If you want to do something.......go arrest Tarintino and Rodriguez for that silly bulls..t they tried to lay on us a month or so ago.....something called Grindhouse.
