Dear John....I'm really trying

John McCain has taken the war road toward trying to become the next President of the United States of America. He is driving down a road that seems impossible for his destination to be reached. There are potholes the size of Iowa and New Hampshire and fallen soldiertrees are littering the internal and external highway that he travels.

It's like he decided that since so many people had turned against the war, that it would be a good time to support it. He even toured the battleground the other day for 60 Minutes. Which I watched just to try and understand what was going on......and discovered that yes you can take a casual tour around Iraq, as long as you have a small infantry platoon and a steel reinforced Humvee at your disposal.

I admire tenacity and John McCain has bundles of the stuff. What I am having a problem with is this.......

I watched the show on 60 Minutes, I read two long articles regarding his position on the war and what he says should happen and while I respect his vim and vigor at the age of 92....I still don't know what he's talking about....because he doesn't know how to finish the point.

His final comment, in the article I read this morning...

"IF YOU THINK THINGS ARE BAD NOW, IF WE WITHDRAW, YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET."

These statements, which also have me completely perplexed, followed the previous statement.

"THE U.S. HAS A CHANCE FOR SUCCESS, BUT SUCCESS IS NOT GUARANTEED. WHAT IS GUARANTEED ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF FAILURE......CHAOS AND GENOCIDE....AND THEY WILL FOLLOW US HOME."

"WAS IRAQ, AT THE BEGINNING, A PART OF THE WAR ON TERROR? I THINK YOU COULD MAKE A STRONG ARGUMENT THAT IT WAS NOT. BUT I THINK IT NOW HAS BECOME ONE, A CENTRAL BATTLEFIELD IN THE WAR ON TERROR."

So he admits that KINGGEORGE W. BUSH created the terrorists atmosphere which today exists in IRAQ. And he says that we might not succeed and that chaos and genocide will follow us home if we don't succeed. And he alludes to how bad things will be if we leave.

BUT HE DOESN'T TELL US WHO WILL DO WHAT TO WHOM.

THIS IS A HUGE PART OF THE ARGUMENT AND THE PART OF THE ARGUMENT THAT ATTEMPTS TO DRAW THE COMPARISONS BETWEEN VIET-NAM AND IRAQ.

WHO IS GOING TO DESTROY WHO....IF WE LEAVE?

OBVIOUSLY HE MEANS THAT THE MAJORITY SHIITE'S ARE GOING TO WIPE OUT THE MINORITY SUNNI'S IN RETALIATION FOR THE YEARS OF SUNNI SADDAM'S BAD BEHAVIOR TOWARDS THE SHIITE'S.....

IS THIS THE OBVIOUS BLOODBATH AND GENOCIDE SITUATION, THAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT....ALONG WITH EVERY OTHER SUPPORTER OF THE WAR.

HE CAN'T BE TALKING ABOUT A MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN CONFRONTATION BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE ARMAGEDDON AND I'M SURE HE ISN'T GOING IN THAT DIRECTION.

Is he implying that Iran will move in an take over Iraq?

Is he saying that Syria and Turkey will move in an wipe out the Iraqi's?

IS HE SAYING THAT SADR WILL RISE UP AND COMPLETELY OVERTHROW THE ARMY AND POLICE FORCE OF IRAQ AND SET UP A NEW AYATOLLAH REGIME IN IRAQ?

I'm really trying to understand the situation but nobody supporting the war will let us know who is going to do what....to whom.

IT'S JUST ULTIMATE WAR TIME RHETORIC.....AND VERY EFFECTIVE I MIGHT ADD.

WE CAN'T LEAVE BECAUSE IT WILL BE A BLOODBATH

AND CHAOS

AND GENOCIDE WILL DOMINATE THE REGION!

BUT YET WE ARE ALLOWING THE EXACT SAME THING TO HAPPEN IN NUMEROUS COUNTRIES IN AFRICA AND NOBODY SEEMS TO GIVE A FLYING F..K.

AND IT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING OVER AND OVER AND OVER.....AS WE SIT HERE AND LISTEN TO WELL INFORMED POLITICAL LEADERS, WHO ARE IN CHARGE AND WHO WANT TO BE IN CHARGE, TELL US THAT WE HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING, AND ANYTHING IN OUR POWER, TO PREVENT

CHAOS

GENOCIDE

AND BLOODBATHS

THE WORLD MIGHT RESPECT US A BIT MORE IF WE PUT OUR MONEY WHERE OUR BIG MOUTHS ARE AND HELPED OUT WITH THE SITUATION IN NUMEROUS AFRICAN NATIONS.

I SAY MIGHT BECAUSE AT THIS POINT EVERYBODY IS A TAD BIT SKEPTICAL ABOUT THE UNITED STATES AND OUR INTENTIONS IN VARIOUS PLACES ON THE GLOBE.

And unfortunately we don't have a Robert F. Kennedy to explain to us what is going on and what needs to go on.

BY THE WAY....IT STILL PISSES ME OFF, TO NO END, TO REALIZE THAT THE THREE GREATEST LIBERAL SPEAKERS IN THE LAST 50 YEARS WERE SHOT AND KILLED WITHIN ONE DECADE....and we just write it off as a coincidence.

(I watched BOBBY last night)

CERTAIN PEOPLE SEEKING POWER AND CONTROL SIMPLY COULD NOT HAVE SOMEONE LIKE ROBERT F. KENNEDY ADDRESSING THE ISSUES. HE MADE TOO MUCH SENSE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING MUCH TOO CLEARLY.

Which does not seem to be the case with our Senior Senator from the state of Arizona. He likes to talk and he likes the attention but he doesn't seem to be able to explain the situation......and I'm really trying to understand.

WHO IS GOING TO CONDUCT THE BLOODBATH IF WE LEAVE?

and the answer might surprise even you.....and for sure your reaction to the answer really might surprise you.

I'M WAITING FOR AN ANSWER

AND SOLDIERS IN IRAQ ARE DYING FOR AN ANSWER
