I've tried to be "quiet" during the second term of our current President and I've done so with both ideas of 1)giving him a chance and 2)being humbled by his re-rise to power.
He basically shut me up after winning the 2024 election but because of people like Jimmy Kimmel I was able to live vicariously in the world of criticizing Donald. And believe me when I say it's a large world.
The latest stupid thing that has come out of his mouth reminds me of the time he called John McCain a loser because his plane got shot down during the Viet-Name war.
These are his exact words when hearing about the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle.

Instead of just not saying anything, which is appropriate in situations where you don't actually know the person who died, he decides to display his own case of mental derangement and belittle a much loved and respected celebrity.
I have watched Rob Reiner in multiple roles as both an actor and filmmaker and the pain his family is suffering right now should never be ridiculed or degraded by anyone ESPECIALLY the standing President of the United States.
I actually never heard Rob Reiner talk about DJT but I assume he was vocal in in his complaints regarding Trump because Mr. Reiner was a devout Liberal Democrat and probably leaned to the deep Progressive side of the party.
My father didn't like him because he was responsible for a tax increase on Tobacco to help support early childhood education. My dad kept saying, as a smoker, "Where's that TAX money going?" And he always blamed Rob Reiner even though he eventually did quit smoking at the age of 84.
Fairly soon, I hope, some of the ploys used by DJT during this latest term will be revealed on a large scale. Unfortunately investigative reporters seem to be evaporating at an alarming rate.
I can start to list those ploys but I've got to go Christmas shopping later today.......so here are a few doozies.
Appointing a Federal Judge illegally and than having that judge file charges against various people he didn't like.
Pardoning 1500 people from the Jan 6 fiasco for storming the Capital building.
Claiming he didn't even know Jeffery Epstein

and by the way.....
The fact that he decided to take over the Kennedy Center should wake up enough souls in the graveyards of political stalwarts to rise up and have physical influence on the current situation.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS....but I do realize that perhaps I'm waking up to the fact that our 249 year old democracy is virtually being challenged on a daily basis by a man who actually suffers from ..........
