Seriously.......... Syria neighbors not concerned?

Simple questions for September 1 2013

Don't Chemical Weapons
make
any
of
Syria's
neighbors
nervous?

I mean besides Israel?

We've sold a large boat load of weapons, including fighter jets, to both Egypt and Saudi Arabia so I'm thinking that maybe those next door neighbors might want to get involved. Doesn't Turkey have a extreme concern for Syria using weapons outlawed by International Law......which by the way seems silly when Nuclear Weapons are ok......but that's an entirely different subject, isn't it?

Once again the Wyatt Earp of Earth (WEOE) better known as The United States of America feels that it has to step in and make a statement by using more weapons.

If in fact using Chemical Weapons is against International Law then why don't the lawyers who oversee International Law simply freeze all Syrian financial transactions.....everywhere, with anyone.

That's an attention getter in Russia and China and any other country that wants to get paid for doing business with Syria.

Do International Laws mean anything?

Facts and Figures that you need to know about Syria

Syria has 20 million people. .....minus the 100,000 who have died in the last 2 years during the civil war.

Who ever linked civil and war together was quite a jester.

Syria is 75 percent Sunni Muslim, 10 percent Christian and 10 percent Shi'a Muslim

It's important to look around the neighborhood and see who is who
Saudi Arabia....Sunni
Iraq...................Shi'a
Turkey..............Sunni
Iran...................Shi'a
Pakistan and Afghanistan.....Sunni

THE STRUGGLE FOR DOMINANCE BETWEEN THE SUNNI AND SHI'A FACTIONS OF THE ISLAMIC FAITH CANNOT BE OVERLOOKED.
AND IN REALITY.....IT IS PROBABLY THE MAIN STRUGGLE  THAT KEEPS
THE ENTIRE REGION IN
CONSTANT
TURMOIL
Hating Israel doesn't count because Israel isn't trying to convert anyone to their religious belief system.
THE MAIN TURMOIL IS CAUSED BY
SUNNI VS SHI'A

Syria has a extremely bad reputation for violating human rights and terrorists groups are reportedly welcomed with open arms.

France ruled Syria from 1920 to 1946 under that famous phrase.....COLONIAL RULE.

President Bashar Assad's Birthday is September 11th.

THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 300,000 MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY ARMED FORCES.

50% of the governments income is spend on WEAPONS.

MOST OF THOSE WEAPONS HAVE BEEN BOUGHT FROM THE FORMER SOVIET UNION.

THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 300,000 MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY ARMED FORCES.

MOST OF THOSE WEAPONS HAVE BEEN BOUGHT FROM THE FORMER SOVIET UNION.

IF MOST OF THE WEAPONS HAVE BEEN BOUGHT FROM THE FORMER SOVIET UNION THAN DOESN'T IT MAKE SENSE THAT CHEMICAL WEAPONS WERE ON THOSE PURCHASE ORDERS?

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THE FORMER SOVIET UNION NEEDS TO RECALL SOME OF THOSE PURCHASE ORDERS.

IF PUTIN REALLY WANTS TO JOIN THE 21ST CENTURY THAN IT WOULD SEEM LIKE A LOGICAL STEP FOR HIM TO TAKE BACK THE CHEMICAL WEAPONS AND SLAP THE SHIT OUT OF ASSAD.

IT'S NOT WEOE'S JOB....IT'S THE LOCAL SHERRI FF IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY WHO ACTUALLY GAVE THE ASSHOLES THOSE WEAPONS IN THE FIRST PLACE.

It's also the job of the countries who continue to support Syria through oil purchases.

GERMANY 32%
ITALY 31%
FRANCE  11%
AUSTRIA 7%
SPAIN 5%

THESE NUMBERS ARE FROM 2010 but from what I've been able to determine the figures are still appropriate......IF YOU HAVE MORE INFO ON CURRENT BOYCOTT OF SYRIAN OIL PLEASE POST IT AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY.

THE CURRENT DILEMMA WHICH FACES OUR PRESIDENT.

DO WE USE MILITARY FORCE TO SHOW SYRIA THAT CHEMICAL WEAPONS CANNOT BE USED.  WHO DO WE USE OUR MILITARY FORCE ON?  DO WE TARGET THE GOVERNMENT HEADQUARTERS?  DO WE BOMB FACTORIES WHERE THEY STORE THE CHEMICAL WEAPONS?

THAT'S PROBABLY NOT A GOOD IDEA

WHERE DO WE BOMB AND WHO DO WE BOMB?

AND ONCE MORE I ASK THE SIMPLE QUESTION.....

Don't  Chemical Weapons make any of Syria's neighbor's nervous?
Nervous enough to do something about it themselves?

BUT INSTEAD OF ANYONE DROPPING BOMBS
I think
the
countries
that
purchase
goods
from
Syria
need
to
stop
issuing
PURCHASE ORDERS.
