JUST WRAP IT UP

Unless something highly newsworthy takes place Friday evening or early Saturday morning, I think I'll just use Saturday to review the week....and also include some personal "stuff."

Gathering by the coverage I would say the only people aware of the new world entered by Michael Phelps would be devout sports fans, who either read the sports section of their local paper or watch a lot of different sports shows in TV....and most likely NBC because every hour they fill the opening two minutes with recaps from, almost, all sporting events.

I'm not sure anybody has ever broken more than two world records at one meet....and most likely it's only been done in swimming.

And because the TV coverage is handled by FSNW....which on my set system is channel 23....HURRY, CALL JIM CARREY!......not very many people got to see it, which is ok because there will be a beautiful docudrama on the World Championships in Australia and the star of the show will be someone who's main nickname is .....SUPERMAN.

That's probably the ultimate compliment when it comes to a sports performance. Shaq doesn't count because I think he gave himself the name......

MICHAEL PHELPS IS A BRAND NEW CATEGORY

No more multiple Gold Medals to determine a great meet. Now it's always going to be...."well, he sure didn't come close to what happened in Australia."....what a freakin shame that somebody has to be so stubborn that they can't just be happy with one, many two world records......THEY HAVE TO SET THREE PERSONAL WORLD RECORDS AND HELP SET ANOTHER WORLD RECORD IN THE 200 MEDLEY RELAY! Oh by the way....there's still another day to go.

And the funny thing in this morning's paper; one of the other swimmers basically called Michael....funny looking.....or implied something even more derogatory by saying "He may not be the best looking, but he's so much better than us that it doesn't matter. I thought of it when I saw one of his Speedo commercials. When you look at someone, let's say, he's no Anna Kournikova. He doesn't have to be."

And if you think about it......doesn't SUPERMAN need to have a great disguise?

If I was one of the other swimmers I would be very careful about giving Michael Phelps anymore motivation....and if I was the other swimmers I would call the guy that made the remark and say.....shut the f..k up.....dolphin boy."

The swimmer, who made the remark, has one thing going for him......he went to Stanford. His name is Markus Rogan....and it will be a cold day in.....heaven......before he defeats SUPERMAN in a race....and if he's not careful, Michael just might steal Dr. Lois Lane from him. I've heard that she's teaching a class at The Farm. A journalism class.....for graduate students.

That's the kind of perk you get when deciding to attend Stanford.

Other things that happened this week

LAURA E. FAIRLY CONTINUED to get accepted at the colleges she applied for, and now it comes down to USC VS CAL.....

I'll spend more time on the choice of colleges in another column because it has deep ramifications and live long residual affects on one's legacy.

IT DOESN'T MATTER SO MUCH WHICH ONE YOU GO TO....IT MATTERS MORE ON WHICH ONE YOU WENT TO.

ONE OF THE CATCH 22'S INVOLVED IN CHOOSING A SCHOOL.

The fact that she gets to choose, and has a nice cross section to choose from....is the BEST PART OF THE STORY

MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL STARTS TOMORROW

I'VE HEARD SOME RUMORS ABOUT ROBERT MC SHANE GETTING ACCEPTED TO SOME COLLEGES OF RENOWN, BUT SINCE HE DOESN'T READ MY BLOG, HE WON'T SEE THIS AND HE THEREFORE WON'T LET US KNOW.

THIS IS AN OPEN INVITE FOR ROBERT TO LEAVE A COMMENT AND LET US ALL KNOW WHAT SCHOOLS SAID YES.....AND THE RUMOR MILL SAYS THERE A WHOLE BUNCH.

ON TO MORE WORLDLY THINGS

President says he will veto bill on funding the war, because he doesn't want pullout dates.

BACK TO PERSONAL STUFF

Lily played a prisoner yesterday and didn't enjoy filming at a real prison. Doubt very much whether she would have ever seen one if it wasn't for the film industry.

Don't think I have to worry about her robbing a Liquor store....or anything that might lead to that type of experience.

Well, actually there's always the chance that forty years from now she could be arrested for stock manipulation. That can happen to anybody....all it takes is the right person coming to you and saying...."I've got information that nobody else has, and there's a ton of cash to be made....do you want part of the action?"

THOSE MOMENTS THAT CHANGE LIVES.........BOY OH BOY....ARE THEY FUN......?

OR NOT!

Apparently one of Lily's relatives didn't visit prison enough when he was young...and has decided to re-visit. Not a good story and really....none of my business.

But it's Lily's business.

WORLDLY

THE HOT BOOK on the market is called...THE SECRET.

And yesterday I picked it up at the book store and flipped through it.

The first book store I was in said the DVD was selling better than the book. The second one didn't carry the DVD.

THE FIRST STORE WAS THE SIZE OF MY LIVING ROOM......THE SECOND STORE WAS BARNES & NOBLE.

I don't think I'm going to let them know......I bet they'll figure it out on their own.

My opinion on THE SECRET without revealing the secret.....

I HAVE SOME ISSUES WITH CERTAIN STATEMENTS IN THE BOOK AND I'M SURE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE SIMILAR ISSUES.

BUT

I'M ALSO A LITTLE JEALOUS

She, Rhonda Byrne, seems to have organized a whole bunch of people who are moving up the evolutionary ladder and after reading about her.....I'm not thinking she's one of them....just someone who could organize the team with types of players that she would become....if possible.

AND THAT TALENT OF ORGANIZATION IS GOING TO RESULT IN MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR HER.

PERSONAL

a little jealous but also aware that IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE....ANYTIME....ANYWHERE

and

I'm

someone

sometime

somewhere

so that has to make me eligible.

I guess I'll have to go back to the book store and read some more because I just found myself telling Lily that she should pick up the book and check it out. Her comment to me was..."yeah I think I'll take back the collection of Tennessee Williams....it seems depressing."

I really think it's good to read Mr. Williams, after you turn 30 and have had time to experience the world....and I also think it's ok if you don't read him. There are a huge amount of writers that would be rated above TW if you were asking me to recommend to young adults.

HUGE

In fact he might not make my top 100 when talking about recommendations for age groups between 16 and 30. And really.....there are some people that should never read him.

It's bad to give some people ideas how to behave, if they don't have a clue.

Enough rambling....off to read some more SECRETS. Of course one of the secrets is to read the book at the book store, or the library, so all the information is free.

FIREPLAM & DESIGN33

ONE CREATED BY FREE HAND THE OTHER BY A DOUBLE EXPOSURE. CAN YOU GUESS WHICH IS WHICH. JUST TEXT MESSAGE YOUR ANSWER( and remember text messages are .99 a piece plus regular phone charges.
Well come on...they get away with it on American Idol.
Ok...truth be known....I don't really care which one one you think is done by free hand.....and I don't really care if you like one better than the other......
I like them both

Where's Frank when you need him?

Technorati Profile
(I SUGGEST YOU READ COMPARISONS FROM YESTERDAY BEFORE READING THIS)
After I finished yesterday's blog I turned on the tube to check out the stock market and the TCM channel was on and a movie was just starting. I rather enjoy synergies of the sort that after writing a political blog I accidentally stumble across "MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON."

I can't remember the last time I saw the film but I'm sure that it's been ten or 15 years....at least.

While watching the film I was truly captivated by the face of Jimmy Stewart and was trying to figure out what came first....MR. SMITH or IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE....and then a few of the cast members became visible and I realized that Frank Capra had an ensemble. Perhaps not as deep as Woody Allen, John Casseventes or Christoper Guest but definitely an ensemble. As I noted the ensemble I realized that IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE had to come later.

I've never wanted to look like anybody else but if given the choice I think I'd pick Jimmy Stewart.....something about his look and the way he uses his eyes......amazing. We really miss stars like him and I can't think of any modern day versions.

Of course as I got further into the movie I realized that it wasn't Jimmy Stewart that we are missing....it's the man who gave him the tools to operate. What we miss more than anything in cinema is the modern day version of FRANK CAPRA.

I'm stumped trying to determine who could be in the same league.....even in the minor league version.....and I come up with.....NADA.

How is it possible that someone in 1939 could create a political satirical humanistic informational expose on the workings of Washington and 68 years later nobody has come close to repeating the effort.

THE IDEA OF CREATING A MOVIE THAT NOT ONLY MAKES ONE FEEL GOOD....BUT TEACHES ABOUT POLITICAL MANEUVERS.....MIGHT BE IMPOSSIBLE IN TODAY'S ATMOSPHERE.

BUT TRULY MIGHT BE NEEDED MORE THAN ANY TIME IN OUR HISTORY.

IS IT TOO LATE TO MAKE PEOPLE FEEL OPTIMISTIC ABOUT ANYTHING HAVING TO DO WITH POLITICS?

I honestly believe that AARON SORKIN has come closer to the CAPRA epicenter than any other creator of visual media. But his focus has been on TV and he was committed to do a weekly version and there's no way that something like MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON can be repeated on a weekly basis.

But West Wing came as close to the genre as anything ever presented on TV. We were able to learn about the process within the White House even if it was slightly off center. Forget the leaning of the material.....think more about the human qualities that gave us hope and offered the possibility that not everyone in Washington was a full blown dickhead.

I wonder why Mr. Sorkin doesn't get more opportunities to make films. I realize he is a writer and creator but directing would seem like a natural thing for him.

In other words......where's FRANK CAPRA when you really need him.....and trust me when I say.....WE REALLY, REALLY NEED HIM.

There has to be a film maker out there who has watched Capra's work and said to him or her self....."SELF...THAT'S WHO I WANT TO BE WHEN I GROW UP."

I'm not even talking about stories like IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE....but again I'll say....where the heaven are the film makers trying to create that type of genre?

Is it a bad thing to want to feel good when you leave a theater or see a film? Is it not possible to make a film that isn't fantasy based that makes hope spring eternal? Are animated features the only positive avenue through this rock known as Hollywood?

I guess we've become too hard and too cynical to believe that the ideals which build this country could be emphasised in a film for today's audience. I personally don't believe it and I think one of the ways to change this is to make viewing of MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON required in all Junior or Senior classes in AMERICA.

REQUIRED VIEWING means taking a test on the film.

I'm fairly certain that their are political science teachers out there who do this already but I'm asking for THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION to announce that no child will graduate from High School without viewing the following two films.

MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON and

THE FOGS OF WAR

BI-POLAR EXTREMES but reality needs to have a touch of FRANK CAPRA....as do all of us from time to time.....some more than others and some perhaps on a daily basis.

By the way....maybe George Lucas had aspirations to be Frank Capra but no way can you have 35 million people die in your movies and get put in that league.

Who is in FRANK CAPRA'S LEAGUE?

Seems to be a league of.......ONE.

THANK GOD FOR SMALL FAVORS.....imagine if there hadn't even been one.

MICHAEL TIMOTHY MC ALEVEY

p.s. I'm not eliminating Ron Howard from this genre....because I feel he has Capraesgue qualities....and I believe his greatest work has yet to be created....and that's saying a whole bunch, partner....because he has been impressive up to this point.

Also one of the problems might be that there really is no modern version of Jimmy Stewart...but I'm pretty sure that it's the material.
double p.s. I'm not overlooking the story by Lewis Foster or the screenplay by Sidney Buchman but I'm pretty sure Mr. Capra was responsible for what we saw on the screen.

COMPARISONS

"If we cannot muster the resolve to defeat this evil in Iraq, America will have lost its moral purpose in the world and we will endanger our citizens," the president said. "If we leave Iraq before the job is done, the enemy will follow us here.

"The consequences of imposing such a specific and random date of withdrawal would be disastrous," Bush said in a speech at the National Cattlemen's Beef Association meeting. "Our enemies in Iraq would simply have to mark their calendars. They'd spend the months ahead plotting how to use their new safe haven once we were to leave. It makes no sense for politicians in Washington, D.C. to be dictating arbitrary time lines for our military commanders in a war zone 6,000 miles away."

His arrogance was founded upon his imagined intellectual superiority. With the growth of his power during the war years it grew to be open megalomania, until ultimately the violence of his will was expressed in outright tyranny. Invoking the laws of war, he made himself master over the life and death of all. Anyone who did not obey his orders without question was branded a defeatist or saboteur.

Brutal intimidation was for him the highest political wisdom, the supreme principle of government in politics, in justice and in war. He would hear no objections and fell into a fury against anyone who recommended consideration and common sense. "Hard" men enjoyed his respect; humane, "soft" people were never in his favor. Characteristically, he made favorites of the very men who were hated by the people.

He deliberately trampled upon the feeling of humanity. Feelings are a tremendous force in the life of nations and in the existence of individual men. Injured, they give rise to passion and fanaticism. Whoever violates them will in the end be defeated by them. He was a master at mobilizing the feelings of other nations against himself. He did everything he could to repel them, nothing to win their liking. His complete lack of sensitivity to the psychology of other nations was always incomprehensible to me.

the Red section was said yesterday by President George W. Bush after learning of the senate's vote on funding for Iraq.....which by the way they approved by issuing a deadline for leaving Iraq. Which, if read very carefully, is a TENTATIVE DEADLINE....AND CAN BE ALTERED WITH A NEW QUICK VOTE.....AT ANYTIME.

The Green sections are excerpts from a book written by Dr.Otto Dietrich while in prison in 1946. The book was released in 1955.

From 1931 to 1945 Dr. Otto Dietrich was Adolf Hitler's Press Chief or as commonly referred to today as Press Secretary.

I did not start to write this column with the intention of making a comparison between these two vastly different people. But the other day while reading this book, which is the first and last book I will ever read about Hitler, and please note I would never read Mien Bitch or whatever it was called, under any circumstances, but this was found in an old collection and I simply started looking at it because a book by a Press Secretary probably had insights that others didn't know, and while reading came across the above descriptions that for some reason stuck in my mind, as I started to write.

I started this column with the intention of making a COMPARISON between Iraq and Vietnam because the PULL-OUT, BLOODBATH, CAN'T DO THAT TO THE PEOPLE situation keeps being brought up....by people of immense power and influence.

NORTH VIETNAM knew who and where the PEOPLE of South Vietnam were....and the bloodbath which took place obviously wasn't enough of a bloodbath to keep us from re-establishing relationships with Vietnam....today. Industry is starting to flourish in Vietnam and American manufacturers are making inroads to helping with that process.

IN IRAQ........WHO EXACTLY IS GOING TO CONDUCT THE BLOODBATH?

THE SHIITE'S?
THE SUNNI'S?

There is NO FREAKIN WAY ON EARTH that some other force such as AL QUEDA will be able to impose their will on this country.

WHO EXACTLY IS GOING TO CONDUCT THE BLOODBATH?

THE SHIITE'S?
THE SUNNI'S?

GUESS WHAT? THAT'S WHAT IS ALREADY HAPPENING. AND OUR TROOPS, BEING IN THE MIDDLE OF IT, JUST SEEM TO BE A SIDE TARGET.

The country has over twice as many Shiite's as they do Sunni's. That's the reason Saddam was nutty. He was controlling the majority and that takes a concentrated effort with a strong upper hand....or a wonderful personality that everybody loves....which I don't think he had, but then of course there was those two lovable characters Odey and Suday, or whatever his son's names were.

AT THIS POINT IN TIME....THE PEOPLE HAVE HELD AN ELECTION AND THERE IS A GOVERNMENT IN PLACE....THERE IS AN ARMY, TRAINED BY AMERICANS, AND THERE IS A POLICE FORCE. Now from what I've read about the police force that could be a problem, but corruption within police departments has always been a problem.

WHO ARE WE FIGHTING AGAINST, THAT THE IRAQI FORCES WOULDN'T BE FIGHTING AGAINST?

When we left Vietnam we knew that the South Vietnam soldiers were defeated. Many of them had already stopped fighting. Many of the people of South Vietnam had left to open dry cleaners and nail salons in America.

IF WE LEFT IRAQ.......WHO WOULD BE CONDUCTING THE BLOODBATH?

I just don't see the comparison and what's really weird is that the comparison between the RED and GREEN sections above seem to have more elements of commonality.

I will not say that George W. Bush and Adolf Hitler should even remotely be compared but the ARROGANCE
DISREGARD and
OUR NATION ABOVE ALL OTHERS, NO MATTER WHAT.....

.....does have a slight ring of commonality.
I am not delusional regarding the insanity of the greatest lunatic that might have ever walked this planet....vs a modern day President of the United States who is still suffering from 9/11 shock.....just like the rest of us I might add, but I think we need to address certain elements that need to be controlled before anything gets way out of hand.
I think WAR GAMES in the Persian Gulf to intimidate IRAN is a slight getting out of hand gesture that could be the prequel to some other action.
Russia is building the Nuclear Reactors in Iran and I'm fairly certain they aren't contributing to the process of having weapons instead of energy. Russia doesn't have another agenda.....do they?
I presume that the above statement is an entirely new column.
By the way.....IT'S OUR FAULT THAT ANYONE THINKS NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS ARE THE ANSWER TO ONE'S ENERGY PROBLEMS.
OUR FAULT.......BECAUSE WE ARE THE LEADERS OF THE FREE WORLD AND WE'VE FAILED TO SHOW THE DEVELOPING COUNTRIES SAFE AND HEALTHY MEANS TO ENERGY SOLUTIONS.
I just keep wondering why no comparisons have started when looking at Jimmy Carter vs. George W. Bush. "They" always used to say that the job was much too big for Jimmy.....but I'm pretty sure that being President of the United States of America is WAY TOO FREAKIN LARGE FOR......JR.
The terrorists will strike again in America........and they aren't not striking because of our involvement in Iraq......they are not striking because it takes time to arrange an action. The 9/11 tragedy took 8 years to plan and execute.
Does anyone in Washington really think that INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC TERRORISTS are hiding in small houses behind Moqtada al-Sadr's compound? Does anyone really think that fanatic fundamentalists that have ties to Osama Bob Ladin are exchanging gun fire in the suburbs of Baghdad?
TIME TO WAKE UP AND FOCUS ON THAT PART OF THE MEXICAN BORDER TOWN, WHERE ANYBODY CAN SIMPLY WALK ACROSS....AND PROBABLY ALREADY HAVE....ACCORDING TO CERTAIN HOMELAND SECURITY REPORTS.
THAT'S THE FREAKIN PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.....not who is going to kill who....once we leave Iraq.
ARE WE DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO INTERRUPT THE ENTRY INTO THE UNITED STATES BY THOSE WHO CAN HIT US?
IT DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE THE CASE.
I really think the job is too big for the man and his focus is 6000 miles away because DICK tells him where to focus. There are places in HIS home state that anyone can enter the United States.....and if Crawford, Texas was on the border you can bet your ass no one would ever get past.
I don't want to compare Bush to some evil tyrant from 60 years ago....but I would like to compare him to Bill Clinton, George Senior, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford and even Richard Nixon.
HE DOESN'T FIT WITH THOSE NAMES. THERE IS NO COMPARISON. AND WHEN ONE KNOWS HOW MUCH JIMMY CARTER HAS DONE FOR THE WORLD, SINCE LEAVING OFFICE......THERE IS NO COMPARISON IN THE HUMANITY OF THOSE TWO MEN.
BUT YET WE ALLOW HIM TO MAKE DECISIONS BECAUSE HE KNEW HOW TO SCARE US, BECAUSE WE WERE ALREADY SCARED FROM 9/11.
Instead of taking all the energy and going after Osama Boob Laden, he chose to go some where else...that just happened to be somewhere, where he thought some one had gotten away with murder in 1991.
"A STICK UP HIS ASS" is the expression that comes to mind.
THERE IS NO COMPARISON TO BE MADE BETWEEN VIETNAM AND IRAQ....AND I WISH PEOPLE WOULD STOP TRYING TO MAKE ONE.
THERE ARE OTHER MUCH MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES CONCERNING THE WAR ON TERROR, THEN THE CONCERN OF WHO WILL SURVIVE IN IRAQ.
IRAQ will be controlled by the Iraqi government.....we helped install that government and now it's time for that body to step up to the plate and hit the freakin ball.
THERE WAS NO GOVERNMENT IN PLACE WHEN WE LEFT VIETNAM....IT HAD BEEN DISMANTLED AND DEFEATED.
STOP TRYING TO MAKE COMPARISONS.

Helen Caldicott, Richard Jeni and rich turkeys

Yesterday at the library I decided to pick up one of the latest books from Dr. Helen Caldicott, who happens to be listed on my important links category....which are shown on the right side of my blog.
The original book that I read by her was called IF YOU LOVE THE PLANET. This newer 2006 book is called NUCLEAR POWER IS NOT THE ANSWER.
The type of information in these books could explain what happened to Richard Jeni, then again learning that there are 25 billionaires in Turkey might also have done the trick....and finding out that a volcanic island has 55 Nuclear Power plants might have helped.
By the way who was the bright industrial revolution PR guy who came up with the name PLANTS to explain mechanically operated establishments that produce billowing toxic smoke which spews into the air and toxic sledge that gets dumped in local rivers. That was a good one. "Hey if we call this place a plant maybe people won't think it's a bad thing.....everybody likes plants."
Now they call them Nuclear Power Plants.....and that's really funny because a plant won't be growing in Chernobyl for about 24,000 years.
wait just a minute.......
25 BILLIONAIRES IN TURKEY!
Let's look at the numbers
THE POPULATION IS 65 MILLION
THE HAVE VERY LITTLE TOURIST TRADE
THE RELIGIOUS PERSUASION IS 99% SUNNI MUSLIM
THEY HAVE THE SECOND LARGEST ARMED FORCES IN NATO
THEY ARE THE WORLD'S LARGEST PRODUCER OF CHROMIUM
HOLD IT RIGHT THERE......
THE WORLD'S LARGEST PRODUCER OF CHROMIUM
I have no idea what Chromium is used for but when the car guys switched to plastic bumpers it must have been a blow to the Chromium guys.
Maybe Richard Jeni had invested in the Chromium market and the plastic bumper thing just pushed him over the edge.
I hate it when people compare a Richard Jeni to a John Belushi.......please keep in mind that John was just trying to get high and did it with the wrong person. Richard took a shotgun and stuck it in his mouth. And although they ended up in this same place I'm sure John greeted Richard with......."What the f..k were you thinking." And Richard looked at John and simply said....did you hear about the 25 billionaires in Turkey?"
The weird thing is they don't even raise turkeys in Turkey. Now that's a huge oversight. They could feed them Chromium and have super turkeys.
I know one thing....there are no Nuclear engineers from Turkey working on helping Japan add more reactors on their volcanic island....where an earthquake happens every freakin day!
Turkey has no Nuclear....anything.
All Turkey has is 25 billionaires!
It might be a case of those 25 guys have all the money and the rest of the country averages about $25.00 a month.
It happens.....check out that $49 billion dollar guy from Mexico who is third on the list, behind Gates and Buffet, for most individual wealth in the world.
In case you were wondering the United States has about 490 billionaires, 103 Nuclear Power Plants, 75 billion turkeys and one less Richard Jeni.
Why do so many funny guys end up not so funny?
I think I know the reason and that's why you don't ever have to worry about me.
First off...I'm not that funny and second....I don't like getting up in front of crowds.
I think that's why
GOD invented blogs.....
Thank you GOD
Now also could you look into that Turkey dealio.....and maybe help Japan finally realize that Nuclear should be bad word for them.....it seems weird that they turned to that form of energy, but maybe when you have two cities that are totally radioactive...it's just a natural segue.
Kind of like going from Helen Caldicott to Turkish billionaries to Richard Jeni
Michael Timothy McAlevey
P.S. could you also check out those guys in the White House....they seem to have some issues that might be bringing the rest of us down....I'd hate to think that there are billionaries from Turkey who own part of Halliburton....after all it is on the road to Iraq and Iran.

A column while I re-group

I WROTE THIS "COLUMN" ABOUT A YEAR AGO....

Revisiting “The Dancing Wu Li Masters” by Gary Zukav

When I originally read this book I though Mr. Zukav was involved in the scientific community at Harvard. I was always curious how he followed this up with “Seat of the Soul”.......which had no scientific material within its covers.

Last night I started reading TDWLM again and quickly discovered that he had no scientific background except for a curiosity.....which for an artist is all the science we need.

Written in 1979 this book is exactly what it claims to be.....a wonderful laymen’s guide to the world of Quantum Physics. Starting with the simple fact of explaining that the “Old Physics,” which was the physics of Issac Newton, was replaced in 1900 by the “New Physics” which started with Max Planck.

Albert Einstein formulated his “Theory of Relativity” in 1905. Planck taking us into the nano-world and Einstein explaining the larger picture, started a sequence that helped the human mind move further up the ladder of evolution.

How far up that ladder? Who knows.

How high is that ladder? Who knows.

The scariest thing seems to be that we have a vast amount of human beings on this planet that aren’t really sure if there even is a ladder......

In the index of this book there isn’t a reference to the”String Theory” so I would assume he had no awareness of
that theory or NO ONE had any awareness of that theory in 1979.

Brian Greene was probably 13 years old in 1979.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING THIS BOOK IF YOU HAVE THE SLIGHTEST INTEREST IN QUANTUM PHYSICS AND DON'T THINK YOU HAVE A CHANCE OF UNDERSTANDING.

Denial of Pleasure

The Los Angles Times has finally written (Friday 23rd) a complete story about this strange practice, which I wrote about awhile back after having seen a small article. BUT IT”S STILL NOT A FRONT PAGE STORY. I think this information is TOTALLY APPALLING to the American public and the TIMES simply chooses not to depress people.
YEAH RIGHT!
SMALL PORTION OF STORY
Since the 1950s, the United Nations has opposed female genital excision as an abuse of human rights, yet more than half a century later, the World Health Organization and many other humanitarian agencies have failed to make much headway in eliminating the practice in Africa.According to a 2005 UNICEF report, as many as 3 million girls are cut each year in 28 African and Middle Eastern countries. In some countries, such as Guinea, Sudan and Somalia, 90% to 99% of the population practices it.
THIS PRACTICE WAS STARTED TO KEEP WOMEN FROM EXPERIENCING PLEASURE
NO OTHER REASON

Why any foreign aid goes to any country that practices this barbaric ritual is appalling. Where’s Paul Wofowitz on this issue. Remember old Paul was the guy who said the Iraq War would only cost 50 Billion and then left the party to head the World Bank.
Of all the people that might be able to halt this torture…it might be Paul Wofowitz. The World Bank has huge interest in African nations and all they have to do is cancel a few credit lines.
SOMEBODY WITH A HUGE PERSONALITY NEEDS TO STEP UP AND ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.
How about HILLARY? Or is this something that a woman should let a man try to solve. I DON’T THINK SO.
She will feel rather silly if Barack gets the upper hand on this neanderthal behavior. But she probably won’t have to worry about Rudy, John or Mitt stealing the thunder. But I’ve heard Barack’s wife speak and I bet she’s brought it up more than once.
IT SHOULD BE BROUGHT UP EVERY FREAKIN DAY UNTIL IT STOPS!

ONE WEEK from today

Spring Training enters it's final week until 2008, and by next Spring Training we will have some results from a few Presidential Caucuses.
I realize there are some people who have no idea what Spring Training is and I feel a tad bit sad for those members of our society. They don't know what Spring Training is and thus they don't have a clue who Derek Lowe is and couldn't care less about what happens to Alex Rodriquez in wonderful downtown New York, or wonder what month Roger Clemens will throw his first pitch.
People who don't like baseball....scare me.
People who claim to love baseball but boo at games.....scare me.
People who don't like baseball and boo at games....really scare me.
But the end of the 2007 Spring Training means one thing and one thing only, to those of us who love baseball......
THE BEGINNING OF THE 2007 MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL SEASON
Every year there are a few surprise teams and a few surprise stars.
This week I will try to look through the rosters and examine the teams and make some mystical predictions.....that hopefully no one will gamble on.
The 2007 Major League Baeball season starts this year on APRIL FOOLS DAY.
One week from today baseball fools will celebrate another season.
And the rest of the population will just wonder why
anybody would get excited about
a sport that pays a human hormone growth user $20 million dollars a year.
Come on......it's only money
Ya gotta love it.
Play Ball Fools!

Vibrations

In the early 70's I used to practice automatic writing techniques, along with various methods of meditations being offered by "movements" and "personalities." At the time I was living in Fairfax, a small community in Marin County so the "movements" and "personalities" were available on most street corners. I was less inclined to "attend" gatherings and more inclined to "read" HOW TO books on the different methods of searching for that elusive target.....better known as inner peace....or less voices.
The simple answer is that one must just learn to eliminate the amount of thoughts, and sometimes voices, depending on vulnerability and psychosis, that one encounters while trying to relax. When one is busy with a project, the amount of thoughts and voices aren't really a problem because concentration eliminates most obstructions.
When moving into the relaxation state one encounters all the mumbo jumbo taking place and the concept of learning to eliminate the mumbo jumbo has been replaced by acts....such as watching TV.....and more importantly by falling asleep.
Learning to center one's thoughts on a single point of reference is a valuable exercise.
How one does that varies from person to person.
The important thing is learning to do it....unless of course you simply are able to fall asleep no matter how much activity is taking place in your cranial lobe.
I wasn't able to do it when I was younger so I had to learn to center my wild mumbo jumbo down to calm mumbo jumbo and then down to single mumbo jumbo.
As I learned to do that, I discovered that I could enter a type of "trance state" where I could type and not be aware of anything that I was writing. So as not to interrupt these"trance states" I acquired rolls of salmon colored butcher paper from the local grocery store, that would fit in my typewriter and allow me to keep writing without changing paper.
Obviously in those days the word processor and computer where only being used at Stanford, Harvard and the CIA.
These "trance states" would last anywhere from two minutes to four days....or four months....or four years.
I say four days, four months and four years because that's how long I actually played with the technique....in reality the "trance states" would only last as long as the rolls of paper. There would be an interruption while I replaced the rolls and then zippy doodah back into a Timmy "trance state."
I have read quite a bit about automatic writing and now that I am older, and presumably wiser, I'm not quite sure what the hell it was.
"I'm not quite sure what the hell it was"...is a statement that can be applied to many things going on in the late sixties and early seventies.
I'm fairly certain that I enjoyed most of IT....but I'm not sure that everything I did, in those days, was necessary. In fact I'm quite aware that narcissistic tendencies were a vital part of my personality in those days. And when one demonstrates narcissistic tendencies, one later realizes how self centered that can be....which is exactly what being narcissistic is suppose to accomplish, so I can't complain that I achieved some form of success in that area.....after all, that was my goal.
Learning to practice "automatic writing" was one of the off-shoots of that inner search for inner pleasure......within my inner sanctums of illusion.
INNER SANCTUMS OF ILLUSION....that's a good one and opens another entire door regarding that unique time period....but let's stay focused on the single topic of "automatic writing"
It appears I still might have the need to practice the art of single mindedness
IN 1973 I was in one of my "trance states" and pounding away at the typewriter. It's important that you understand that while typing I never would switch to capital letters because the process would interrupt the "flow" of my "trance state." So what you see when looking at these "scrolls" of work, are a lot of typo's and small caps.....and a lot of words running together. Much like this column but with much better spell checking techniques. Needless to say I don't show these scrolls very often for fear of being looked at in a rather odd way. Which now that I think about it....might be way to late.
While in one of my "trance state" episodes I suddenly pushed the space bar four times and then pushed the CAP LOCK button and typed something. I then pushed the space bar four times and clicked off the CAP LOCK and went right back to writing in my "normal" style. It took about five minutes for my brain to register what I had done and that moment of registration brought me out of my "trance state" and into my normal reality. I immediately pulled up the paper and looked at what I had written....keeping in mind that each and every time I entered a "trance state" I had no idea what I had written....but this was the first time I had created capitol letters during an "episode."
I stared at the words and had no idea what the heaven it meant.
VIBRATION IS THE KEY TO UNIVERSAL EXPANSION
It wasn't until I started reading about Quantum Physics, in the mid nineties, that I had any idea what it meant. I'm totally positive that I can't explain what it means, because it has ramifications that go well beyond the scope of what I can scientifically prove. And since I have no scientific credentials and very little mathematical abilities I can only add another one of my NEO-ILLUMINATIONS at this point.....
"Sometimes the soul of an artist knows for sure what the mind of a scientist will never understand."
The "Vibration" quote is the only quote that I included in my NEO-ILLUMINATION book....that came to me during one of my "automatic writing" episodes in the early seventies...
If you think that VIBRATION is not the key to universal expansion...then what the heaven is?

AUGUST 31st 2008

FROM THE WASHINGTON POST
Liberal opposition to a $124 billion war spending bill broke last night, when leaders of the antiwar Out of Iraq Caucus pledged to Democratic leaders that they will not block the measure, which sets timelines for bringing U.S. troops home.
The acquiescence of the liberals probably means that the House will pass a binding measure today that, for the first time, would establish tough readiness standards for the deployment of combat forces and an Aug. 31, 2008, deadline for their removal from Iraq.
THIS WILL BE A MAJOR ISSUE FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES.
I don't feel like discussing it at the moment, but there are some issues involved that will be battered back and forth among the "players."
The country still is uncertain on how to handle Iraq.
That's the absolute truth.
We are experiencing a war that is longer than WWll....
That's the absolute truth.
In a very short period of time the war in Iraq will be longer than the Civil War
That's the absolute truth.

Emerson, Whitman etc and The Gospel of Thomas

We (the famous collective we) get so caught up in our current mental exercises that we very often forget to re-introduce ourselves to the masters of Literature. I like to emphasis American writers because....well I'm an American....and I write.....so thus I have an identity issue.
I use the term re-introduce because most of us were required to do some reading of these gents while in school.....but to be truthful if I was required to read Emerson I can promise that it was only a poem or two, and the same goes for Whitman.....
Shakespeare was strongly emphasized as were Twain and Steinbeck....and perhaps a little Poe and of course Dickens.
But I really feel that Emerson and Whitman were overlooked....and under booked.
Reading that generates wisdom is rarefied air.
From what I've been able to determine......the invention of Television has truly helped promote the lack of reading in America. I'm mostly referring to the age brackets between the ages of 10 and 45.
Certain people have referred to this phenomenon as the "Dumbing up of America."
If people are not reading the master works then what's the chance of anyone reading the Gospel of St. Thomas....which in my opinion might have greater ramifications than all the wonderful literary works throughout history.
I realize that is a LARGE statement but when you think about the MIND CONTROL EXHIBITED BY THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH and THE OTHER COLLECTIVE CHRISTIAN ENTERPRISES over the last 1600 years and the effect that they have had on civilization...then the appearance of a GNOSTIC GOSPEL that might truly contain REAL statements from Jesus of Nazareth....is a very important piece of work.
Statements, by the way that totally contradict the basis structure of organized religions......ALL ORGANIZED RELIGIONS.

UNDERMINING THE STRUCTURE OF ORGANIZED RELIGION IS FUNDAMENTAL IN THE PROCESS OF ACQUIRING WISDOM.

UNDERMINING THE STRUCTURE OF ORGANIZED RELIGION....ON A PERSONAL BASIS.....IS THE FIRST STEP

AND THUS A PERFECT TIME FOR ANOTHER NEO-ILLUMINATION
"some organizations, by their very nature, must discourage individual
enlightenment and behavior
especially when the enlightenment and behavior centers on
spiritually directed growth"

If you are a person that has no religious indoctrinations then you can skip right ahead to Plato, Shakespeare, Emerson, Whitman, Twain, Dickens, Steinbeck and anyone else who never could even imagine the existence of that infamous reading killer technology known as.....The Television.
But if you believe that organized religions are the only path to having a relationship with the Creator of the Universe.....then you need to read the Gospels of Thomas....first.
Have a nice read.

Polling the obvious

A Poll appeared in yesterday's USA TODAY. This poll was conducted by USA TODAY, ABC News, The British Broadcasting Corp and ARD, a German TV Network. Iraqi interviewers walked door-to-door in 458 communities in all 18 provinces of Iraq. They worked from Feb.25 to March 5. They interviewed 2,212 Iraqis.
Before I go any further with this story.....let me interject something about polls and asking people what they think. In the United States people are not honest when being polled if they are slightly embarrassed about their answer or don't want anybody to know what they really believe. A prime example was when Tom Bradley ran for Governor after having been Mayor of Los Angeles for multiple terms. According to the exit polls on the day of the election...Tom Bradly had overwhelming won the Gubernatorial race. But the results of the election were quite a bit different. He got his ass kicked and it wasn't even that close. Tom Bradley was a dignified intelligent African American.
Nobody who gave an answer at the polling place ever worried for one second that someone would look them up later and kill their entire family and destroy all of their goats and sheep.
Taking a poll in Iraq has to be regarded with a slight question mark.
The poll is interesting for the obvious.
THE GOVERNMENT OF AMERICA WORKS BECAUSE THE TWO PARTIES ARE FAIRLY EQUAL IN REPRESENTATION.......I SAY FAIRLY BECAUSE IT CAN FLUCTUATE FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION BUT IT'S STILL FAIRLY EVEN....ESPECIALLY AMONG THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY VOTE.
IN IRAQ THE SHIITE ARABS OUTNUMBER THE SUNNI ARABS BY MORE THAN 50 PERCENT....and my personal guess would be since the Sunni leader was hung( what was his name?) there are probably quite a few Sunni's who have decided to keep quiet regarding what they believe.
One of the questions they asked.
WAS THE EXECUTION OF SADDAM HUSSEIN CARRIED OUT IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER?
SHIITE ANSWERING YES.........82%
SUNNI'S ANSWERING YES........2%
KURDS ANSWERING YES..........66%
The question and answer I found most intriguing was...
DO YOU SUPPORT THE PRESENCE OF COALITION FORCES IN IRAQ?
SHIITE ARABS SAYING YES...........17%
SUNNI ARABS SAYING YES.............3%
KURDS SAYING YES........................75%
ALL IRAQIS SAYING YES...............22%
IF YOU DISREGARD THE KURDS THEN THE REST OF IRAQ IS COMPLETELY AGAINST OUR BEING THERE.
SO THEREFORE.....HERE'S THE SOLUTION
GIVE THE KURDS FULL CONTROL OF THE FREAKIN COUNTRY AND LET THEM TAKE CARE OF THE SHIITE'S AND THE SUNNI'S. IN A FEW YEARS WE WOULD HAVE A VERY TIGHT AND STRONG ALLY.
Of course that might be a little extreme but it can't be any more extreme than the desire to create a democratic system in a country where the different belief system is created by someone believing some one's cousin or uncle was Mohammed's favorite relative.
There's no secular voice in Iraq and therefore there is no voice of reason.
A PERFECT PLACE FOR ANOTHER NEO-ILLUMINATION
"THE UNIVERSE HAS A SYSTEM OF ORDER AND CHAOS
THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE IS A TANGENT OF THAT SYSTEM.....THAT CAN BOTH ESTABLISH ORDER
AND CREATE CHAOS
BELIEF SYSTEMS DIRECTLY LEAD TO CHAOS
ACCEPTANCE
WITH INVESTIGATION AND INTROSPECTION
CREATES
MORE ORDER
The mysteries of the Universe will always outnumber the known realities and CHAOS will forever exist
OUR JOB, AS HUMAN BEINGS, SIMPLY MIGHT BE TO
AVOID EXTINCTION"
POLLING SHOULD INCLUDE QUESTIONS LIKE....
DO YOU THINK THAT HUMAN BEINGS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE NOBODY GETS ALONG....OR SHOULD THE LAND BE USED FOR GROWING HEROIN?
OH SORRY...THAT'S THE OTHER PLACE IN QUESTION.
THE POLL QUESTION IN AFGHANISTAN SHOULD BE...
DO YOU THINK WARLORDS SHOULD BE ABLE TO POSSESS WEAPONS OF ANY SIZE OR SHAPE?
I don't believe anybody in Iraq will tell anybody what they really think unless they have the same last name. But then again looking at the situation it seems that eveybody has the same last name...or at least the same first name.....I apologise for my lack of empathy regarding the people of Iraq...but the situation really is insane and only 12% of the people who aren't KURDS want us in their country.
12 PERCENT.
BUT PLEASE KEEP IN MIND....POLLING CAN BE TRICKY........
just ask the family of Tom Bradley.

BLOG CHANGED IN MID-SENTENCE

I was writing my blog about Sean Bell when Laura E. Fairly walked in the door and told me I had to sign some financial aid papers......I just looked at her in a strange manner because what could I possibly have to do with her financial aid program.....unless of course I won the lottery and then she would never have to worry about financial aid.....but other than that....I had no idea what she was talking about until I looked at the "booklet" she had laid on my desk.

THE ACCEPTANCE PACKAGE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA IS

A

MAJOR

PRESENTATION.....

The certificate shown above sits inside the "booklet" when you open it.......

THOSE TROJANS REALLY KNOW HOW TO SEND OUT THE BIG HORSE......

QUITE IMPRESSIVE.....

OH YEAH.....and it's also pretty cool that she got accepted......

JUST KIDDING!

IT'S BEYOND COOL......IT'S ZERO FROZEN

IT'S ALSO BEYOND IMPRESSIVE and the best part is she really wasn't sure that they wanted her.

OH YEAH BABY.....THEY WANT YOU.

USC has always had a thing for beautiful skinny blonds.........especially smart beautiful skinny blonds......ESPECIALLY SMART BEAUTIFUL SKINNY BLONDS THAT CAN WRITE...RIGHT!

YOU COULD CHANGE YOUR NAME TO.......

LAURA RIGHT WRITE
From the USC DG sorority house
on the campus of the USC Trojans

BIG DAY for all of us lifelong Trojan fans....and especially big day for all of
us lifelong
Laura Elizabeth Fairly fans......

Oh by the way.....what was Stanford's phone number? Now that the Trojans want her I'm sure Stanford will up the anti.....they can throw in a Nuclear Laboratory where fusion is being dissected into little tiny nano-horses....but they can't match the USC Journalism school or the USC Film School......and they can't even begin to complete with the MIGHTY USC TROJAN FOOTBALL TEAM....

FIGHT ON BABY!
Great job

Sean rings a bell

The other day a friend from New York called and asked if a decision had been reached in the Sean Bell case. My response was simply, "who's Sean Bell." My friend hung up without saying goodbye.
Now I realize New York people can be rude and short, and everybody knows that if Alex Rodriguez can be booed at Yankee Stadium then anyone can be booed...anywhere.
Knowing how self centered my friend can be.....It didn't even faze me that there was no goodbye....I'm good for airport pickups not sweet goodbyes.
But something struck a chord about the name Sean Bell and I went on line the next morning and learned about the "incident."
Last week the Grand Jury announced that 3 NYPD officers would be charged with manslaughter.
One of the "officers" discharged 31 rounds during the "incident." 31 ROUNDS....now that's an impressive gun.....I didn't know that NYPD officers were allowed to carry Gatling Guns.
He pleaded NON-GUILTY to the manslaughter charges.
I choose not to mention the names of the officers because their names aren't important....the only important thing involved in this story is THE ACTION.
Sean Bell and his two friends, Trent Benefield and Joseph Guzman were leaving Sean's bachelor party at 4 a.m on November 25th of 2006. They were not armed and had no weapons of any kind except for their car. Only Sean died.
The old adage that nothing good happens after midnight truly applies here. I can only imagine the scene as three drunk guys leave a strip club at 4 a.m. It appears that the officers were undercover and that adds another entire element to the story.
Maybe Sean was competing for one of the cop's favorite dancers....throwing money at her while she was doing a lap dance for 31 GUN Harry.
If you have ever been to a strip club and if you have ever behaved in a asinine manner and if you have ever given more money than you should to a certain dancer and if you have ever tried to lure a dancer away from another customer and if you have ever had shots of Tequila while in the process of trying to be a big shot and if you have ever had ten Long Island ice teas while trying to convince a dancer to have your children and if......whoa....hold it right there......too much information and too much speculation and too much is just too much.
The real story started inside the club......whatever Sean Bell did or said to 31 Gun Harry is the key to at least being able to slightly understand what made him become 31 Gun Harry. Now if 31 Gun Harry was not inside the club and simply showed up at the last minute to join in the "incident" then one has to assume that 31 Gun Harry had just arrived back in the United States from two years of patrolling the quaint little streets of Baghdad.
Something set 31 Gun Harry into hyperspace. Something that hasn't been brought because it took place between two people.....and a dancer. She might be the key to trying to understand why a police officer would think that 31 shots was necessary to stop an unarmed man....but unless the Grand Jury has a lot of one dollar bills, they will never find out about that part of the story. The girl probably moved to another city the next day to work for another branch of the Cheetah organization...or whatever organization owed the club. Really good dancers move around depending on numerous circumstances that one might encounter doing this type of work. There can be quite a few reasons why a stripper has to move from one location to another and three customers being shot 51 times might be a pretty good reason.
I'm sure the Grand Jury has tried to contact Brandy or Amber or Krystal or Betty( there must be a stripper named Betty) but since they change their names when they change locations it's a real problem to track them down. Even if you have their license plate numbers and type of car and know their birth dates and....whoa....I swear it never went that far....but I know one thing for sure..........
There's always a girl involved when some man goes freakin nuts....unless the man has certain structural variances within his DNA......but that really is another type of story.
I'm not about to say that there is any justification for 31 Gun Harry's behavior......I'm just saying there is a part of this story that will never be told....except in the STAR JOURNAL sometime in the distant future.
31 Shots!....when the rules are.....fire 3 and pause......31 shots! Seriously, doesn't someone think that 31 Gun Harry might have lost his freakin mind. I would love to see his SAT scores and find out how he did in Little League and see if he actually ever read a book in his life.
31 Gun Harry is a psycho and how he passed the written exam to become a police officer has to be addressed. Someone, somewhere in the department knew this guy was a walking time bomb......someone, somewhere was not surprised by 31 Gun Harry's actions.
But that someone will never be found unless they are shacking up with an elusive hot sizzling dancer named Brandy or Amber or Krystal or of course the very hot and dangerous....Betty.
There's a story here that will never be told. But 31 Gun Harry will be going to prison where he will learn the true meaning of life.....from 31 GUM HENRY.....and his little buddies.

100th and a little look inside

Am I delusional or are WE delusional? The WE referring to those of us who will always continue to pursue the "elements" and "aspects" of our personality that we regard as the most rewarding....and most satisfying moments of our life. (having children born healthy is off the charts and beyond satisfying and has no bearing on this piece)

Those moments that are created by some artistic twist within our twisted minds.

Rewarding "elements" and "aspects" of an artist's mind can hopefully be defined as "talent."

BUT THE WORD TALENT IS REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY A SUBJECTIVE WORD

so I choose to use the rewarding "elements" and "aspects" terms. If you don't like it.....write your own blog.

I know I have delusional fragments within my mental structure, but I don't assume that I am alone in this matter....and I am fairly careful about sharing things unless I think they are done well....or at less well done.

When one continues to pursue the most rewarding "elements" and "aspects" of one's personality, without generating income from that pursuit....then delusional is a word that surfaces...usually among family members and certain friends.

I had one of my very best friends tell me yesterday that I would NEVER have any money because I wasn't trying to schedule an interview with any companies in the Furniture Industry...of which I used to be somewhat involved, on a fringe level......a fringe level being the making and selling of art to furniture stores. Talk about a delusional endeavor. Trying to convince the average furniture store owner that he needs art in his store might be one of the great delusional endeavors of all time. Furniture stores need furniture.....everything else is smoke and mirrors and silly puff stuff.

My friend is well aware of all the art I have created and he is quite familiar with the breath of my writing "inventory." I'm not sure if he likes what I've written because he's not really a "reader".....he's a doer......I'm aware of this because I gave him a script I wrote ten years ago and he hasn't gotten past the tenth page.....which one page a year could make someone think someone else was not a "reader." It can't be the material because the first ten pages are simply an introduction to the story. But if one is not a "reader" than introductions and content sections don't mean a hill of beans.

I've always wondered when I would write "hill of beans." I've chosen my 100th blog to use an expression that I've known all my life.

A HILL OF BEANS. Where and what is that expression from?

My friend did not use the word delusional because I didn't pursue the conversation except to say......"NEVER.....wow, that is a very long time."

I realized at that moment he might be a conduit representative for the rest of my friends and family....much like the people were on the great CBS show Joan of Arcadia......saying something one minute as the oracle and then a few minutes later not remembering anything that was said.

It scared me because he might be right.

If I NEVER have any financial reward from pursuing the most rewarding "elements" and "aspects" of my personality.....then I will simply have no financial reward from doing the things that I like the best.....and also from doing the things that I think I am best at doing.....which allows the delusional term to sneak in and become part of the agenda.

I mean....I've watched those early contestants on American Idol and they really do believe that they can sing and entertain......THEY REALLY REALLY DO BELIEVE IT.

So what makes me different when it comes to pursuing my talent?

I try to make a point of not sharing what I do unless it meets a certain standard within my structural artistic framework.

I have been writing "columns" like this for forty years. Many of them reside within journals because I enjoy the art of hand writing. Many of them reside in boxes on typed papers because I used to enjoy the sound of electric typewriters....and I used to enjoy using different colors of typing paper so many of my "columns" have a sense of color about them.....but that's the visual artist screaming for exposure and at the moment we are ignoring that bastard and dealing with this bastard.

And trust me when I say that the artist is a bastard. There is no mother or father involved in the process of being an artist.....it is a fully individually adopted role that one either develops or ignores.

And those who usually ignore that role.....go on to lead happy and prosperous life styles....running businesses, buying homes, taking vacations and making sure their families are secure and that money isn't an underlying issue every freakin second of every freakin day.

Those of us who choose to develop the adopted role of an artist do so because..

WE HAVE TO BREATHE

WE HAVE NO CHOICE ONCE WE'VE MADE THE DECISION

AND IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT AGE ONE BECOMES......

THE OLDER AN ARTIST GETS.............ONLY MEANS ONE THING.........

MORE INVENTORY

I like the fact that I can share some of my inventory, on a daily basis, with cyberspace reality...which appears to be a rapidly growing reality....and if this is simply an exercise in delusional behavior....then so be it.

Delusion and illusion might be the backbone of quite a few endeavors taking place around the globe.

Hopefully one more small exercise won't tip the scales toward total planetary insanity....which appears to be developing quite well without any help on my part.....unless of course my 100th blog becomes just another piece of inventory that can be documented and archived to show that delusion and insanity were rampant during the early part of the 21st century.....especially among the writers and artist who actually thought that doing the work was more important than doing it for money.

Of course all of us who haven't reached a level of financial freedom.....always say the same thing....but we really don't control that part of the process. All we can do is the work.

Creating 100 blogs, since Christmas day of 2006, has been a lot of fun.....and hopefully it shows that I am indeed doing the work.

Anybody who wants to see more work....just simply has to ask.

The world of the Blog exists so that no one has to ask anybody for permission to view a person's inventory.

and for the 100th time I say.....
